  1. This has probably been explained before, but how can the judges taste sixteen dishes and the last few dishes are at a disadvantage because of judge taste fatigue? Are there big time gaps between servings that are edited out? I'd like to know how long the whole process takes.
  2. I read that the show is filmed in the Hudson Valley in New York. I was really impressed at the way they portrayed the winter scenes. So often falling snow looks so fake. I know that they must have used CGI for those majestic rugged mountain scenes behind the lake, but it was very well done. This may have been my favorite show of the series. I love how each one keeps me guessing, and the casting is excellent. Natasha should get an Emmy.
  3. He was great and he reminded me of the bashful, southern guy who won last year, Noah Thompson. They both have sweet looks on their faces and humble, down home charm.
  4. As a long time admirer of Raquel Welch with the belief that she was one of the most gorgeous women in the world, I too would have booed Sunny at bring up Kim Kardashian as a comparative sex symbol. Kim is a manufactured being, marketed by social media. Raquel Welch was a genuinely beautiful woman with class.
  5. Pedro Pascal was amazing and in so many skits with a lot of dialog. He was a terrific host. Sarah Sherman is one cast member I could live without. She is always looking at the cue cards even when she doesn't have much to say in a skit, and she is over the top with her screechy, loud voice and mannerisms.
  6. Right. Also his piles of money and knowledge that his old cranky man beliefs are far superior to those of others must keep him comfy. Did that Weiss woman let it slip that Bill lives in Beverly Hills? He certainly seemed upset by that. Also I guess Bill didn't have time to ask her about her Twitter so called "bombshell" that I think turned out to be a dud. She is worthless as a panelist as others have mentioned here previously.
  7. Wow, I never realized that my degree in sociology from a liberal arts college was so worthless and the object of such scorn. I guess I didn't know that the many other subjects I studied while in college would be worthless to me too. Somehow I managed to build two successful businesses with my pathetic college education. Did Bill go to college? He certainly knows how to insult a large portion of the population in this country. Of course we got the usual rage about obesity from Bill. The other people at the desk were not exactly svelte like him, so that might have caused some discomfort. Bill didn't care, because he is on a holy mission. Wokeness and obesity, along with how the younger generation is spoiled and just no good are his weekly issues. Ugh.
  8. I'm trying to like this show, and I'll give it another episode. One thing that bugs me is that every other word seems to be the F word or a variation of it. I'm no prude. I'm not shocked by the word, but when it's used in almost every sentence, it becomes redundant and boring.
  9. When the topic of problems with the schools came up, I thought that they were going to talk about banning books in schools or DeSantis banning AP African American Studies in Florida. I didn't expect that all out right wing crap about teachers and parents forcing gender questions on kindergarten kids. Give me a break! I'm surprised they didn't bring up that Republican, Fox News fable about kids identifying as cats and having kitty litter in classrooms. What an insult to teachers in this country to infer that this is such a huge problem. I live in a very liberal state and I haven't heard of any teacher doing this, and I doubt that many parents would push this gender questioning topic to their children too. If Maher continues like this and also continues to mock Covid procedures during a pandemic, I will quit this show for good. I think he is trying to be hip like a rapper and failing miserably. He looks like an old coot making weird gestures.
  10. This is a shallow observation, but after watching Tuesday's show, I can't help but wonder why a beautiful woman like Sunny is letting her over the top, voluminous hair to overshadow her face. Her hair takes center stage when I look at her, and I wonder why she wears it that way.
  11. Jeannine still has a bunged up chin, but after seeing her at the tribal council, you would never know it. They really use a lot of makeup on everyone to make them look more attractive every tribal council.
  12. At the beginning of the program it issues a statement that the story has been fictionalized with certain events, etc , so I have no doubt that they dramatized the Mexican jail scenes to the hilt.
  13. I am out after seeing this episode. I guess the writer of this mess regards Mexico police as complete idiots since they put a 12 year old girl in the same car and jail cells in close proximity. Who would arrest a young, terrified girl and put her in a miserable jail cell after she has been rescued from her kidnapper? The slow moving and ridiculous reactions of Jan's parents had been driving me crazy, but this jail scenario is insane.
  14. I've always been a Sunny fan, but I do think her smugness and condescending remarks and hostility toward Alyssa is making me adjust my attitude. I get a coy "Aren't I so beautiful?" and "Aren't I just the smartest?" vibe from her. It's great that she is confident, but she really showboats a lot. I still want her on the panel, but she is getting on my nerves.
  15. I know nothing about fashion and who Jeremy Scott is, but I have to laugh every time he gives out critical advice to these designers while he wears clown outfits, and this time a big leopard skin suit over his portly body, accompanied by pearls. Can't they find a better judge than this jerk?
  16. I watched the show for Rob Reiner and Amy Klobuchar, and I appreciated the way they talked circles around Maher, but I find Bill intolerable every time he opens his mouth. I used to think he was a bit funny, but now he is just cringe worthy. He's a spoiled old whiny man.
  17. I'm not sure how I stood that shrill, fingernails on a blackboard voice back when Hasselback was on the show. As others have so skillfully pointed out, she hasn't changed. God, book for children talking to God, prayer, abortion is murder, God has plan for everyone, prayer, my husband the football player, my kids play football , God, prayer, dig at Biden administration, God... CTE? That must be God's plan. Woman dying in childbirth? God's plan. Ten year old rape victim having to give birth? It's all God's plan, don't you know? Her sanctimonious, holier than thou creepiness is worse than ever.
  18. I am tiptoeing out to say that I don't mind Alyssa being named a cohost, considering they could have chosen Lindsey or Stephanie. I would have preferred Tara, but I can tolerate Alyssa.
  19. Maryland is not a purple state, as they kept repeating. It is a very blue state. It was unusual that Republican Hogan was elected governor, but he was quite a moderate who was popular with quite a few Democrats. I agree with Sara that the Democrat party is playing with fire by donating to radical Republican candidates, but the Democratic leadership is obviously desperate to use any tactic they can to keep Republicans out of power, so I hope it works. If Lindsey is chosen as a co host, I won't be watching very often. Maybe she is fine on The Blast, which I've never seen, but she seems nervous and not very well informed enough for The View.
  20. Apparently, they didn't notice the crash that occurred in March 2020, due to fear of Coronavirus worldwide outbreak. Google "stock market crash of 2020", Bill. (Maybe he's so rich that it wasn't that big a deal for him).
  21. I must be a masochist, because I watched part of this show, when lately I avoid it because Bill Maher has grated on my nerves during the last couple of years. I have never liked Cornel West, but I forced myself to listen to him for a few minutes (with closed captioning on, because he talks so fast and mumbly), but nope, I still can't stand him. When he started bashing Biden, and Bill at least countered with all of the things that Biden has accomplished for minorities, West's answers to that made me hit the FF button with lightening speed. Kelly Anne Conway has to be one of the most obnoxious people on planet Earth. She is a complete idiotic motor-mouth who was there to sell her book, mentioning it over and over, not because she was brave. Bill should have had some guts and shut her down with some strong counter cuts, but he doesn't want to offend. By the way, gas is expensive and up in price all over the WORLD, because of world economic conditions, not because of Biden. Now I have ruined my mood after watching this stupid show.
  22. I agree. I usually don't like to comment about someone's looks, but she looked much better before she got lip injections. I also focus on her mouth because it looks so unnatural.
  23. I quit watching this show a long time ago, because Bill Maher is such a whiny, selfish, crabby old man, but I love Bob Odenkirk, so I watched for his interview and thought that I'd watch a bit more after that to see if things had improved. The conversations about masks made my blood boil. As others have previously mentioned, why should Maher care if others are wearing masks? Does he know what their medical conditions are, or maybe they are being careful to protect others in their families who are in poor health? My husband has kidney disease so we will continue to wear masks when in crowded places. Don't get me started on those two women commentators who giddily added to Maher's attitudes about masks. Their Disney comments were incoherent. No wonder I gave up on this show.
  24. I enjoyed the first season of this show, but I feel as though they threw this season together too quickly. I didn't like the too manic behavior by Cassie, and I hope they drop the visiting alcoholic alter ego Cassie. I'll stick with it, but so far it's disappointing.
