  1. I'm no fashionista, but those Supermix clothes looked dated and cheap. Couldn't you buy a jacket or sweatshirt on your own and iron on some patches you found at a craft or fabric store ? I didn't see anything unique about them.
  2. Sarah is so, so loud and obnoxious, and if you notice, she has to read her cue cards so obviously each time she's in a skit, even if she has few lines. I don't know how she remained in the cast this season.
  3. Sara got a pile of iced sugar cookies by Lofthouse, I think. I'm pretty sure I've seen these in my local grocery stores in plastic containers. This is after she said, ""There had better be cake!". Poor Sara, I'd be quite disappointed if I were her.
  4. The special effects people did a great job with those locusts! This was a great finale for the season. We got all of the characters rounded up for Uncle Baby Billy's Bible Bonkers game show, and I couldn't stop laughing at all of the reactions to the locusts. I can't wait for season 4!
  5. I keep thinking of The Lion King when I see Sunny's ever expanding hair.
  6. C'mon now,I can never get enough of Uncle Baby Billy. May his idea of a hologram of his sister take off in a spectacular fashion!
  7. Although I still like Sunny, the coquette routine when she reacts to many men buying her drinks, and her repeated references to making time for romance with Manny and the accompanying over the top look gets on my nerves. Yes, we know that you are beautiful, Sunny, but enough with the cloying coy act.

    S04.E06: the wizard

I really despise Sally, but I have admiration for the actress who plays her. She has been through the mill, and she is such a miserable character now. I hope for her mental health, the actress gets some more uplifting parts in the future on happier shows.
  9. Elizabeth Olsen is a really good actress. If she weren't in this show, I wouldn't be watching. Kudos to the accuracy of 1980 Dallas. The scene at the DFW airport had passengers disembarking from a Braniff International plane, and the customer service uniforms were correct too! I used to work for Braniff, so I appreciated that detail.
  10. We finished episode 6, and for a series that started off strong, unfortunately it has become kind of erratic and boring. I love Chris O'Dowd, but he can't carry the show all by himself. it's disappointing.
  11. Agreed. Aretha Franklin is my all time favorite singer, and I think We Ani did her justice! I hope she wins it all.
  12. Maybe Josh specializes in podiatric surgery, so he has every right to call himself a surgeon. If I had a problem with my foot that needed surgery, he would be the kind of doctor I would want. Why make it sound as if he is trying to deceive anyone?
  13. Am I just old and super cautious, but does the ski bike look a little too dangerous? I don't like the thought of the equipment tangling me up when I crash on the ski slope.
  14. I read the book, and I was a bit skeptical of Riley Keogh playing the part of Daisy, but I think she is doing a great job. Actually, all of the cast is very good, and I'm pleasantly surprised. One thing that threw me was the supposed Hawaiian locale for the concert. Really? It looked like a dry bunch of hills outside of LA. The Steve Miller Band and Grateful Dead were supposed to play at this place with such a small audience? Come on!
  15. This has probably been explained before, but how can the judges taste sixteen dishes and the last few dishes are at a disadvantage because of judge taste fatigue? Are there big time gaps between servings that are edited out? I'd like to know how long the whole process takes.
  16. I read that the show is filmed in the Hudson Valley in New York. I was really impressed at the way they portrayed the winter scenes. So often falling snow looks so fake. I know that they must have used CGI for those majestic rugged mountain scenes behind the lake, but it was very well done. This may have been my favorite show of the series. I love how each one keeps me guessing, and the casting is excellent. Natasha should get an Emmy.
  17. He was great and he reminded me of the bashful, southern guy who won last year, Noah Thompson. They both have sweet looks on their faces and humble, down home charm.
  18. As a long time admirer of Raquel Welch with the belief that she was one of the most gorgeous women in the world, I too would have booed Sunny at bring up Kim Kardashian as a comparative sex symbol. Kim is a manufactured being, marketed by social media. Raquel Welch was a genuinely beautiful woman with class.
  19. Pedro Pascal was amazing and in so many skits with a lot of dialog. He was a terrific host. Sarah Sherman is one cast member I could live without. She is always looking at the cue cards even when she doesn't have much to say in a skit, and she is over the top with her screechy, loud voice and mannerisms.
  20. Right. Also his piles of money and knowledge that his old cranky man beliefs are far superior to those of others must keep him comfy. Did that Weiss woman let it slip that Bill lives in Beverly Hills? He certainly seemed upset by that. Also I guess Bill didn't have time to ask her about her Twitter so called "bombshell" that I think turned out to be a dud. She is worthless as a panelist as others have mentioned here previously.
  21. Wow, I never realized that my degree in sociology from a liberal arts college was so worthless and the object of such scorn. I guess I didn't know that the many other subjects I studied while in college would be worthless to me too. Somehow I managed to build two successful businesses with my pathetic college education. Did Bill go to college? He certainly knows how to insult a large portion of the population in this country. Of course we got the usual rage about obesity from Bill. The other people at the desk were not exactly svelte like him, so that might have caused some discomfort. Bill didn't care, because he is on a holy mission. Wokeness and obesity, along with how the younger generation is spoiled and just no good are his weekly issues. Ugh.

    Season 01

I'm trying to like this show, and I'll give it another episode. One thing that bugs me is that every other word seems to be the F word or a variation of it. I'm no prude. I'm not shocked by the word, but when it's used in almost every sentence, it becomes redundant and boring.
  23. When the topic of problems with the schools came up, I thought that they were going to talk about banning books in schools or DeSantis banning AP African American Studies in Florida. I didn't expect that all out right wing crap about teachers and parents forcing gender questions on kindergarten kids. Give me a break! I'm surprised they didn't bring up that Republican, Fox News fable about kids identifying as cats and having kitty litter in classrooms. What an insult to teachers in this country to infer that this is such a huge problem. I live in a very liberal state and I haven't heard of any teacher doing this, and I doubt that many parents would push this gender questioning topic to their children too. If Maher continues like this and also continues to mock Covid procedures during a pandemic, I will quit this show for good. I think he is trying to be hip like a rapper and failing miserably. He looks like an old coot making weird gestures.
  24. This is a shallow observation, but after watching Tuesday's show, I can't help but wonder why a beautiful woman like Sunny is letting her over the top, voluminous hair to overshadow her face. Her hair takes center stage when I look at her, and I wonder why she wears it that way.
  25. Jeannine still has a bunged up chin, but after seeing her at the tribal council, you would never know it. They really use a lot of makeup on everyone to make them look more attractive every tribal council.
