  1. You are right, Haleth. Anyone who follows news would know that Klain's remarks were about the infrastructure projects, not the tragedy of the Baltimore bridge collapse. I had to fast forward through that section to keep my sanity. Also, the Fed has an impact on fiscal policy, and corporations control their prices on goods, and President Biden can't determine the price of Lucky Charms or other food products.
  2. Stairs, lots of stairs. My husband even pointed out the stairs in the Picasso painting. Even though parts of this series were unbelievable, the way it was crafted, great acting of the main characters (even Dakota Fanning? I'm not quite sure about that role), and the cinematography was outstanding.
  3. I thought the same thing, Snapdragon. The guffaws and stupid speculation that some of them made (Sara and Sunny, especially) really riled me up. They should be ashamed of themselves.
  4. This series is so boring. Why am I watching it? I guess it's because I am a fan off Liane Moriarty and I like Annette Benning, but this thing is dragging at a snail's pace.
  5. I keep thinking how much better she would look with a simple hairstyle. She kind of dates herself in a strange way with the over the top hair, and gives off "Look at me, I'm young and hip!" vibe, instead of just a beautiful woman image.
  6. Most of the sketches in the show seemed to be written by middle school drama students trying to be comedic. The only sketch that was funny to me was the Air Bnb interior designer one towards the end of the show. SNL is in need of some much better writers. I felt embarrassed for the cast members having to read those lines. This show was worse than last weeks, and that one was really bad.
  7. I'm not sure labeling so many singers as belonging in the top ten does them any favors. Did I hear correctly that the last singer, Abi, was pronounced maybe the best singer ever on American Idol? That puts a lot of pressure on her. She was outstanding though, and I loved her sweet, humble disposition. On a shallow note, can Katy Perry's hairstylist quit with the greasy looking tendrils lying about Katy's face? Katy is a beautiful woman who doesn't need such distracting hair mechanisms.
  8. Whoops, wrong episode comment.

I thought the same thing about Jack Huston, but then I read that he gained 30 pounds for this role. Why? He couldn't play the same guy at a lower weight? Like most other posters, I was wondering why I watched six episodes of this drawn out, mish mash of a show. I was ready to punch several of the characters, especially Mercy.
  10. Mario Van Peeples is 67 years old??? Wow, what an attractive man. He also had a lot of constructive, relevant things to say.
  11. I'm no fashionista, but those Supermix clothes looked dated and cheap. Couldn't you buy a jacket or sweatshirt on your own and iron on some patches you found at a craft or fabric store ? I didn't see anything unique about them.
  12. Sarah is so, so loud and obnoxious, and if you notice, she has to read her cue cards so obviously each time she's in a skit, even if she has few lines. I don't know how she remained in the cast this season.
  13. Sara got a pile of iced sugar cookies by Lofthouse, I think. I'm pretty sure I've seen these in my local grocery stores in plastic containers. This is after she said, ""There had better be cake!". Poor Sara, I'd be quite disappointed if I were her.
  14. The special effects people did a great job with those locusts! This was a great finale for the season. We got all of the characters rounded up for Uncle Baby Billy's Bible Bonkers game show, and I couldn't stop laughing at all of the reactions to the locusts. I can't wait for season 4!
  15. I keep thinking of The Lion King when I see Sunny's ever expanding hair.
  16. C'mon now,I can never get enough of Uncle Baby Billy. May his idea of a hologram of his sister take off in a spectacular fashion!
  17. Although I still like Sunny, the coquette routine when she reacts to many men buying her drinks, and her repeated references to making time for romance with Manny and the accompanying over the top look gets on my nerves. Yes, we know that you are beautiful, Sunny, but enough with the cloying coy act.

I really despise Sally, but I have admiration for the actress who plays her. She has been through the mill, and she is such a miserable character now. I hope for her mental health, the actress gets some more uplifting parts in the future on happier shows.
  19. Elizabeth Olsen is a really good actress. If she weren't in this show, I wouldn't be watching. Kudos to the accuracy of 1980 Dallas. The scene at the DFW airport had passengers disembarking from a Braniff International plane, and the customer service uniforms were correct too! I used to work for Braniff, so I appreciated that detail.
  20. We finished episode 6, and for a series that started off strong, unfortunately it has become kind of erratic and boring. I love Chris O'Dowd, but he can't carry the show all by himself. it's disappointing.
  21. Agreed. Aretha Franklin is my all time favorite singer, and I think We Ani did her justice! I hope she wins it all.
  22. Maybe Josh specializes in podiatric surgery, so he has every right to call himself a surgeon. If I had a problem with my foot that needed surgery, he would be the kind of doctor I would want. Why make it sound as if he is trying to deceive anyone?
  23. Am I just old and super cautious, but does the ski bike look a little too dangerous? I don't like the thought of the equipment tangling me up when I crash on the ski slope.
  24. I read the book, and I was a bit skeptical of Riley Keogh playing the part of Daisy, but I think she is doing a great job. Actually, all of the cast is very good, and I'm pleasantly surprised. One thing that threw me was the supposed Hawaiian locale for the concert. Really? It looked like a dry bunch of hills outside of LA. The Steve Miller Band and Grateful Dead were supposed to play at this place with such a small audience? Come on!
  25. This has probably been explained before, but how can the judges taste sixteen dishes and the last few dishes are at a disadvantage because of judge taste fatigue? Are there big time gaps between servings that are edited out? I'd like to know how long the whole process takes.
