  1. I usually post negative things about Meghan McCain, but I can see why her latest tweet about Trump is very justified. Covering up John McCain's name on a U.S. Naval ship in Japan so that the baby-in-chief wouldn't see it is about as low as it gets. He denies giving the order but says whoever did was "well meaning." If someone disgraced my father in such a low down way, I would be beside myself.
  2. No, I'm afraid that "she can't stop, won't stop", as she so bravely stated. God and her husband support her job in confronting the evil leftists.
  3. Something tells me that the producers encouraged Whoopi to praise Meghan after her blue note speech referring to the "gaslighting" of Kim Jong-Un. Duh, no one knew that Kim is a despicable dictator who commits crimes against his people and is a danger to the world, so Meghan had to teach us about him. I'm pretty sure producer Brian told the crew to light up the applause sign every time Meghan finished that speech and several others during this show. Her surly look was on from the minute she walked out. She has a lot of issues that are only exacerbated by her foolish tweets. (Tweets that the panel dare not discuss for fear of upsetting the Princess.)
  4. This article in the Washington Post about Meghan's reaction to Senator Klobochar's comments about John McCain is getting loads of comments, and it looks like about 99% percent of them are negative toward the Arizona Princess and Keeper of John McCain's Flame. I hope she reads them. https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2019/05/28/amy-klobuchar-recalled-john-mccains-searing-response-trumps-inauguration-meghan-mccain-wasnt-having-it/?utm_term=.21082f9a07eb
  5. Excellent post, Heysmilinstrange. You nailed what is wrong with her constant military references.
  6. I'm sure that the New York Times story will make Meghan think that she is probably responsible for the View's label of most important political talk show. That means she will be even more strident, shrill, and rude. I'm getting very weary of listening to her and seeing her grim, unpleasant face and her dumb mannerisms. I'd hate to give up watching the View after all of these years, but my threshold for this ditz is reaching the breaking point.
  7. Oooh, Meghan was so upset that Joy said that the Republicans in Congress should be thrown in jail. Then Joy asked her if she had ever heard of hyperbole. Any bets on Meghan knowing the definition of that word? Maybe she should look up the word insufferable too and know that it applies to her. I can't imagine anyone else on a television talk show getting away with the behavior she displayed today. They may think if they fire her she will have a complete breakdown. Or, yes, they may like the ratings that she might be generating. It's really a disgusting spectacle.
  8. True, he does now, but starting off, many doctors have a tremendous amount of medical school loans to pay off.
  9. Meghan McCain said that she would probably get negative feedback from her from GOT faux pas, blurting out the ending. After all, EVERYONE should be watching the show in real time, like she did! She seems to get a lot of negative feedback from the internet, almost on a daily basis. Perhaps she will use some time for self reflection and think before she speaks, tempering her statements. Nahhhh... who am I kidding?
  10. Right. And maybe Manny had a lot of student loan debt after medical school too, so that was a stupid assumption on Whoopi's part. My daughter "married well", but she works very hard at her job and pays back her law school student loan from her own paychecks.
  11. I enjoyed the first season of this show. This season is way too over the top. I think Pamela Adlon believes she is the cutest, quirkiest actress/director/producer on tv. Her portrayal of a clueless, indulgent mother leaves me cold. If you wanted to convince someone not to have children, suggest that they watch this show. I've never been around such selfish, bratty kids as the two oldest two girls are. They all need to go to a therapist because that is a very dysfunctional household. I won't be watching the next season.
  12. I agree that Meghan has a beautiful face, but her personality turns it into a scowling, rolling of the eyes, twitchy lipped ugliness. Does she ever watch herself on this show? I think the production crew intentionally shows her awful expressions on purpose. Of course, she probably thinks she is coming across as a ride or die, tough maverick chick.
  13. I am quite chunky myself, and I don't blame her for her defense of all kinds of body types being acceptable, but does she have to be so aggressive and unpleasant when she states her case? People would listen to her more if she would calm down and not be so angrily defensive.
  14. Today Meghan McCain displayed all of the qualities that make her intolerable. She kept overtalking everyone, asking Senator Klobuchar repeatedly if she was for third term abortions. She never listens to answers. The rest of the panel had intelligent, reasonable opinions, but that doesn't matter to McCain. On the question of being called skinny or chunky, if she had stated her case in a calm, pleasant manner, that would have been fine, but instead she gets all defensive and says that she could get any man or job she ever wanted, she doesn't care what anyone calls her, and then she swiveled her head around to the audience, like they were her enemies. Methinks she does protest too much. Amy Klobuchar starts praising Meghan's father (must be an obligatory thing to do on this show), and Meghan furrows her brow and gives Senator Klobuchar an awful death stare. How much more rude can this immature, ignorant, classless person be? She actually makes me sick to my stomach.
  15. Whoa. I wonder if Whoopi ever saw that skit that Howard did about her and Ted Danson. That was outright insulting and racist, and he threw out the N word many times. Maybe Howard Stern has become a little more mellowed since he's 65 and had a health scare, but for me that doesn't make up for the years of him degrading people, especially women. I'm sure his grossness made him a fortune, and he picked up a beautiful young wife along the way. He will always be a creep in my mind.
  16. This is Ana at her eloquent best. https://www.cnn.com/2019/05/14/opinions/lindsey-graham-has-sold-his-soul-jill-filipovic/index.html
  17. Bill was so belligerent with Tim Ryan at the beginning of their discussion. True, Ryan doesn't have much of a chance for pulling ahead of the pack, but he had some good things to say, and at least the audience and Van Jones gave him some positive responses. i know Bill is frustrated, but he was downright rude.
  18. A good thing about the Seth Myers interview and the resulting publicity is that more people have been exposed to her lack of intelligence and complete inability to have a coherent discussion about a political matter. The self appointed tough chick who thinks she is a political pundit (pundint!) is now a subject of ridicule on a wide spread basis. I can't even feel sorry for her because she won't learn anything from this experience.
  19. Right, HaaCHOO, poor little Meghan McCain doesn't bear the burden of being the only conservative on the show, although she thinks she is, along with being the spokesperson for all of middle America.
  20. I've never seen Sunny play the role of a "literal minded idiot", but I've seen Meghan McCain play a rude, immature, clueless idiot every day she has appeared on the show. Intellectually honest? I don't think the words intellectually honest could ever be applied to McCain. Her whole identity is wrapped up in thinking she's some conservative expert who loves to brag about being a straight shooting tough chick. She's kind of sadly pathetic.
  21. Did MM really say to John Huntsman, the ambassador to Russia, that he was in the city of Satan? I'll bet he really appreciated that comment. She's such a dunce.
  22. Sebastian was robbed. His dress was beautiful and inspired by the orchids in his bag. I love Venny, but I didn't see what was so special about his dress to land him in the top three. It looked very basic, but maybe it looked great in person. The black and white dress had those sticking out hip things that I find unattractive on everyone. Why was it in the top three? Tessa is really an unpleasant person, and her look was drab and uninspired. She should have been one of the bottom choices.
  23. It might be best for Whoopi to discontinue her rants about taxes. I know she must be disappointed that the new tax laws probably prevent her from declaring all of her high property taxes (she keeps mentioning how she can't take the deductions that she used to take), and she doesn't know where her tax money is going, but for a multi millionaire to keep whining about her tax burden, that's not going to elicit a lot of sympathy. Kristin Gillibrand's reply about the middle and lower class struggles to get ahead went right over poor, overtaxed Whoopi's head. It's kind of like her attitude about the way insurance works.
  24. How I wish you were right about this, but unfortunately I think ABC probably loves all of the headlines MM is creating and the attention that the show is getting from that. It's exactly as Tosia described above, in that it is moronic, low class television. I wonder if it will end up taking Joy threatening to leave before something is done about the McCain brat.
  25. I braced myself to watch the show after reading all of the comments here. (I tape it and decide whether to watch it later in the day). All I can add to the rest of the excellent comments is, THANK GOODNESS FOR SUNNY HOSTIN! I couldn't watch this show without her professional comebacks to all of the nonsense that is spewed. She is getting more and more disgusted with spoiled brat Meghan McCain and shutting her down more often, and I love it. Her push back against that idiot Mike Lee was a thing of beauty.
