  1. Nothing about the oldest daughter's looks in the France episode made me think she couldn't be biologically related to one or both of them.
  2. Yes, but they were getting his birth certificate on the morning of his planned flight, so it made no sense because they would have gotten a passport earlier. And they line was specifically that he needed his birth certificate to get back in the country.
  3. They are just fast and loose with Manny's birthplace, in the episode where we learn Manny spends time in Colombia during the summers, it's also the gay marriage becomes legal episode and Manny and Jay go to the courthouse to pick up a copy of his birth certificate, which makes no sense in the context of the episode because you don't need a birth certificate to travel internationally, you need a passport. But also would make no sense if Manny was born in Colombia.
  4. We totally played scooter-ball in elementary school though it was more handball than the version we played.
  5. He wasn't a fashion designer, he was a stylist. Given some of the idiots that work with Rachel Zoe, didn't seem much of stretch, especially because it has been stated that her fashion blog was popular and she has worked at high end boutique shops as well. While Gloria's monologue about wanting to speak to someone in her own language in her own home was nice, it was so glaringly odd that she didn't teach Manny Spanish when he was first learning how to speak, not to mention they have stated that he spends summer in Colombia.
  6. I absolutely hated the Euros being featured. I didn't find them charming or say anything of note and it just makes me worry about the future of the show.
  7. Yeah she edited in NY but their house was definitely in LA. According to her twitter they split time between NY and LA.
  8. Shameless is on Showtime, not NBC.
  9. Yeah, I thought that was what Richard was getting at, not that plebes can't handle radicchio but that the challenge was menu design and leading off with a radicchio salad isn't going to have the wide appeal of a scallop, I mean I like radicchio but would have probably even chosen the shrimp salad over it if I had to make a choice, which given how those two dishes turned out would have been a shame.
  10. Yes, I get that she is Australian, it just seemed a ridiculous story to tell when describing how she learned to put a line in the water. Combined with the fact that her Australian accent is so thick, that it would make more sense if she had moved to Hawaii later in life.
  11. The thing I hate most about The Chew in November is having to watch Michael grow a sad mustache.
  12. I did think it was interesting that Captain Lee and Eddie both seemed to not think kindly of Kate's treatment of Amy. I do think there might be something to the theory that Kate was jealous of Amy; mainly how the guests and Captain Lee praised her.
  13. I did like that Jake called Kevin, Kev when he answered the door.
  14. On last week's show Chris said that it would be Mulaney, Nikki and Judah. Jon Hamm will also appear.
  15. I would have loved it much more if it wasn't actually a thing! But that might just because that is one night I can't get back!
  16. From the most recent episode thread: Then that would be moved back she was in SF for at least a year because we used to go to the same neighborhood bar.
  17. You know the crew were like "this is amazing, it will edit into the show so great!" when they were caught in the tower during that crazy wind/sand storm. Unfortunately, Jason Rezaian is still in custody, though has been some hope lately.
  18. I really want to vote for Anna's movie but I literally can't bring myself to waste my time watching Shane's movie. I shall head Zach's warning so that I don't regret the time spent.
  19. I think it's because it was so drama free, there was just not enough footage for them to pull together an interesting storyline. You can only focus so much on the fact that the two girls look alike.
  20. Seriously it boggles my mind that he has passionate fans. I mean I literally can't comprehend it. Also, is he Sampson what was so good damn special about his awful hair. Hopefully he is Sampson and now that it's gone he will fade into obscurity.
  21. Tiffani tried to get financing for a project in San Franciso after her season aired and before she moved to Boston.
  22. You can totally see that everyone from "The Chair" realized that choosing Shane was a mistake. Not because his shit was vulgar but that they shouldn't have chosen someone who had such a built in fanbase so that his obviously shitty movie is a shoe-in to win over a superior movie. I mean in the end I think Anna will be more successful because her movie wasn't a flaming pile of shit eaten by a black dude, so even if Shane wins it isn't going to advance his career in film making where Anna's reviews will make her and her husband/brother team advance in actual business. So "The Chair" will be a failure but if Shane wins he will also be a failure and Anna will be fine. I also found it interesting that Shane's bravado failed to materialize when even his friends were commenting on the movie and Anna's special snowflake sat their and took the criticism like a professional. Yes, the expressed surprise over the actresses looking alike but she sat there like a professional and dealt with the criticism of strangers whereas Shane whined about the glossed "overview" from his hand picked audience and producer asking leading questions.
  23. He didn't think the internet would be better near the shore, he just assumed the internet would be solid. If it wasn't for the otherwise shitty ways the crew has fucked up on various charters; I would give them the benefit of the doubt but I do wonder what they promise in terms of internet during the charters. And yes, I know that is a stupid thing to wonder because a lot of it is probably production lies but I am curious.
  24. I had to go read the list because I couldn't place two of them; one of them is apparently playing her internet character Miranda Sings and the other was Ali Wentworth has done so much to her face I didn't recognize her.
  25. The most confusing thing about this entire episode was the end scene where Steve asks the new DA where she learned to fish, first it wasn't like she was fly/spear/ fishing or something it was simple rod and reel. But the most confusing part was that she said that she learned to fish because every summer she would go to Australia to visit family, so I were just supposed to assume she picked up a thick Australian accent spending summers there as a child? Just make her freaking Australian who moved to America.
