Still at work, hasn't see the episode. It's just... "Checkov's pudding"??? What is happening on this show??????

Well, I am glad there are people who enjoy Sherlock. Hell, just because something isn't my cup of tea, doesn't mean that's objective or universal opinion. :)
-
Not a wish. :) Let me say, I think it may be more about them actually talking about it and figuring it out sounds more like the show's style.
-
i am willing to be bet Fiona and Sherlock are NOT breaking up. :)
-
A lot of the negativity is mostly due to disappointment in Moffat and Gatiss, imo. I got really bored with the way Moffat portrays Sherlock since season 2 and I am sticking around mostly because it's so beautifully made and the chuckle here and there. Nobody likes to be talked down... especially by a person who is NOT smarter than the audience, sorry.

I am thinking about the original comics. Is she going to actually follow the steps of Ellie?
-
I am not from the US and even I am under the weather.
-
Yeah, how dare she value her feelings more than he valued his, based on SECONDHAND feelings of somebody else been violated. I mean the fracking nerve... :)
-
On one side, it was shady. On the other... it is quite in cannon for Sherlock to be OK with the criminal getting their due. For the mystery, I CRINGED for a bit that they are going to go with the "lying sexual assault victim"... fortunately, that was not the case. I definitely empathysed with the killer. This is one of the reasons why vigilantes are not a good idea and I enjoyed that it showed a problem with the dead guy's thinking. He took somebody else's pain and put his feelings on the topic as more important than the victims. And it also showed the kind of mentality some people have "beat them and that will teach them"... For Shinwell, I am definitely not going to repeat the standard procedure "oh, no, a new character, boo, ooh, actually the writers have a point and I actually like that character", so I am just going to wait and see what it is in stock for him. So far, nothing good. On one side, I enjoyed that Watson got kind of needled and defensive, on the other, I loved that Shinwell told her that he should have the right to say no. I think she will realise it that somebody may not want her help... of course, he is trying to keep her away from something. Alas, we shall see.

I interpret is as a wink to the audience. In universe it was A who showed around with the goat legs even though nowhere in the Bible it is mentioned anything about goat legs or Lucifer looking anything but angelic, not to mention that it is unclear that what kind of a fruit (if it was even a fruit... imagine it being an asparagus or something. :)) Anywho, ok, maybe it is with that reading but then it contradicts that long rant from season 1 that he never, ever did anything to humankind and it was all on their own. If he is involved in the fall but still has the nerve for that speech, it will be... somewhat disappointing, let's say. :) Anyway, I am interested where it will go.

I am not complaining the story is not following the bible, my response was aimed at another poster saying that Lucifer got his silver tongue from his mother (and then there was a reference towards the snake and the garden). If Lucifer was the serpent and played a role in that bit or not, we do not yet know, because the show hasn't established it. So... O.o?
-
I am truly sorry to be a bother but the serpent in the garden IS NOT the devil, was never the devil and can not be the devil. It is clearly written "the serpent was -bla-bla-bla". Obviously was an animal... a talking... legs having snake... but an animal created personally by god, named by Adam and nothing to do with Lucifer. So... no. The silver tongue is not inherited by the serpent from the mom. :) Oh, yes and while I am at it, Eve NEVER heard the warning from God, because she didn't existed at that particular time. Only Adam knew and he kind of stood back and did nothing and THEN somebody else got the blame for his inactions. /end rant Also... I am kind of bristling at the idea that the mother is chaos/evil and the father is good/law/order. Mostly because it doesn't analyse that dualism in any way but simply plops it and leaves it there. I think the show is planning to look into this a bit more. Also, I do love the interpretation about the bar fly. :) And I also think Amenadiel kind of got played, yes.
-
I think it was less "she might destroy dad" and more "mommy issues".
-
I am unsure what is meant by "disgusted"... The writers did something and revealed she didn't know she is superstrong... o... key? Nothing implies that she should have known?
-
Damn, still not accessible to me as an episode.

Haah, Bonkers Betty? Haven't seen her in a while. Actually, since I threw that comic in the bin and vowed never to read anything by Miller again. (Bonkers Betty is a name coined by Linkara, a very cool dude reviewing comics and his argument was that she was so much ooc, that the only explanation was that somebody else was dressing like her).
-
We don't know yet, this is not yet explained. :)

I am convinced the deatly looking thing is intentional. Or the actress has some issue and she is going through it... can we leave her hair and how "tired" she looks, because it is repeated every week and... fuck it, I think she looks perfectly normal. She is a cop, with a child, working CRAZY hours and having a nervous personality. Somebody mentioned the Chloe not reacting/forgetting the "i am glad i didn't kill you in your sleep while i was in your apartment" bit more like "great, that weird, aggressive woman is trying to intimidate me... AGAIN and she is trying to compliment me now... I guess?? What the fuck is wrong with her?" or something in similar vein.
-
I laughed so many times. The assumption of Linda. The face A made when he realized what she was referring to... amazing. Chloe and her imitation of Lucifer? Ella hugging Maze? The blood oath? A being drunk? So much fun... :) Also... the yummy cosmos... ahahahahah....

OK but if you do not want to have a discussion about free will but state adamant position about the topic which you do not want to analyze or question, this makes any further comment moot.
-
OK, then DON'T spend it on your family. Create a trust. Help orphans. Charity. WHATEVER... Or... start in advance to help for disasters? I mean... 1996? Who would just sit on their hands if they can prevent some major disasters? Fuck, I am not from the US and even my first thought was... "O... K... what about... 5 years from 1996?". Yup, the biggest problem with past/future interactions.
-
LIKE the most high. LITERALLY having the same free will. :)
-
If a 6 or 8 year old was able to manipulate a detective, she'd be unfit for her job... I am handwaving Lucifer and her lack of adequate judgement due to Lucifer's powers but NOT the kid stuff. That'd be too much. :)
-
They shouldn't. The wings are from PRIOR the fall.
-
That sure would be something reprehensible.
