Thrive Without Janelle: The Accountability Group
lookeyloo replied to LilWharveyGal's topic in Sister Wives
A dilemma for sure. I am "petite" of stature, treated hypothyroidism, no estrogen because of breast cancer and almost 80. It is for sure a struggle. I would recommend adding weights to your program. There are plenty on YouTube. I like fitbymyk even though she is young and I am not. That was the thing that changed my body. It is an every day battle. I feel your pain. Plus I have trouble sleeping and the recent prescription worked great. Side effect weight gain. So I am off it. -
Carlin and Evan: But Mostly Carlin!
lookeyloo replied to PrincessPurrsALot's topic in Bringing Up Bates
I am the oldest girl of two boys. I am not the smartest. Not dumb, but brothers definitely better intelligence. I have the most common sense though. I know this is just me and my family, but, some of these theories are just that and many outliers. We went to public school back in the way back days. -
My mistake. I thought I was in the Kelly and mark thread!

Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore

Well maybe so but lets face it, nobody in that group, or me, or anyone I know, would look that good or even close no matter how much tailoring, grooming, makeup, hair, etc. -

Guessing they did the dreaded financing. Math not my thing. What would a lease payment or monthly purchase payment be? -

Regardless of their "garb" and them selling that stuff they all look happy in that picture -
This made me think of my mother and her siblings talking about their father, my wonderful Grandpa. They said that he never raised a hand or his voice to them, but if he felt disappointed in their behavior he would just look at them in a way that showed it, and it would devastate them to try and do better. Which to me is the epitome of the respect they had for him. Not fear.

And all the more "entertaining" for us snarkers when she pops out more miracles looking for a brother for Rhett. Sad for the four current girls.

It will be interesting to see if (and a big IF) either Carlin or Evan do start to grow up. At different places. Or just one. Which will change their dynamic. They seem to be forcing their lives now. What if for example Carlin said "you know what? I want to stay home and learn to cook and have quiet time in the evenings". For example. And what if for example Evan said "our finances are tight. I'm going to look for at least a part time job". For example. Or Carlin says you are better with the kids so I'll look for a part time Job. Now that will be interesting to see play out. Or - status quo forever. -
I guess my AdBlocker is working. I don't see any ads. Free on iMac.

Maybe David helped her see she didn't need it. Maybe even what a MLM is. Unless he is an enabler -

Um. No. -
Very sad situation with a 30+ year old needing permission to leave a dorm. And who is monitoring her activities? Does she have a jana-cam in her bedroom and bathroom? Oy. These people...

I guess I should put this here. Can't remember which one of them is hawking a planner. And we had a discussion. Anyway, I use one in addition to the iPhone, iPad and iMac which are synced and also a paper planner because one can never be too careful! And today one of the organizations we donate to sent me a planner for 2024!!!!! Yay!!!! -

Agree. I think we are all different and generalizations don't usually work. -

That made me laugh! You described me and my retiree friends! But not from boredom. I have plenty to do in the house - but, for my mental health need to get out of the house every day. I never decide what I want for the evening meal until that day, so go get it. And, get this! - cook it!! But, I don't have small children, debt, or income issues. When I had small children and worked, I made a list, did meal planning and did a "big shop" once a week. The Stew crew seems to have real boredom with their lives and with each other that they can't settle down. -
Remember when we were supposed to go to a "paperless" society? Haha

Maybe not the right topic, but, where is the thread for Shiny Happy People? I don't see it in my topic listings. Am I having a senior moment?
