Does anyone have a clue as to if the Duggars watch their own show? JB would probably not acknowledge that he was anything but appropriate with the Jeremy family, what with his ego and all... And, I think it might have been @Churchhoney (sorry if I got that wrong) who noted that some fundy families do procure abortions for their unwed daughters - Jeremy might be a case of do as I say, not as I do.

Well I see I am not alone! I kind of liked him at the beginning of his stint at Live but as time went on to me, he seemed to think that he was "all that". I was glad to see him go, and now, he seems out of his element on GMA.

Wondering if JB is working to break them up. How much power does he have over Jinger. Would Jeremy just let it happen or come in and rescue her.

Right on @Churchhoney - it is mind numbing boring to watch them. Much better to read about it here, even just from previews. Could it all be just for the TV show and in regular life they are a little more animated? Could they have had "the talk" about how to behave on camera? would be interesting to see what happens if there were hidden cameras around and they didn't think they were being recorded. I have episodes on the DVR and can't make myself watch them yet.

Speaking as someone who is older - driving in heavy traffic is different than when I was younger. I do it but I really don't enjoy it at all. I watched a Mythbusters once where they tested older vs younger drivers and it isn't that the reflexes slow down but the processing time the brain takes to make a decision on what to do slows down. Also - if anyone considered taking a job with Jeff and they have watched the show they should know what they are getting into if it hasn't been explained to them in what I am guessing is a detailed employment contract. I have been able to turn down jobs where I knew if I took them it would be not my cup of tea. Maybe these folks have to accept the job because of no other alternatives Or all of this is for the drama and when they aren't filming it is more relaxed.

And can you just imagine the outcry from the leghumpers about religious rights blah blah blah. And they would give Jim Bob and Michelle a forum to make their case. That would all be so entertaining.

We have hooked up indoor antennas on two TVs so we don't have to pay for a cable box for the infrequent times we watch those two. Maybe that's what they did. It isn't hard and it isn't expensive.

We can't put our fingers on it exactly, but the show seems tighter, Stephen more invested, or comfortable, or rested since some of the duties were removed, The Werd being back, something is making it more enjoyable.

I have two boys (men now) and back in the olden days I was asked if we were trying for a girl. No. We wanted healthy babies period.

All good possibilities for sure. I heard Andy Cohen on his radio show talking about the rumors and of course he could be spreading another rumor but he said as much as he loves Kelly he has a contract with Bravo and likes what he does. So maybe a smokescreen or maybe true. Time will tell. Personally I would be surprised if he takes it. He is very cute and she said it was different with her own vs. her siblings. Let's hope that feeling lasts.

Do we think Jessa has enough insight to consider all of this? Or maybe she wants to be the only female around all those males. Makes her more special and there would be no competition from a daughter who at some point will be prettier, thinner, etc than her mother. That would require a level of insight too though.

Agree with above. Bin looks like he is strung out on benadryl. Dry mouth, droopy eyelids, slurry words, half sentences. Coupled with him just being Bin. Nuff said.

I liked Michelle most of the time. I listened to a snippet of Jenny McCarthy's radio show on Sirius (sometimes she will get an interesting guest) and she said that The View hired her because of just what you said (vapid celebri-tainment, etc) and then had talks with her behind the scenes to reel it in. She said she wasn't a good fit with what they really wanted - which was not her in her natural form.

We thought it was a better show, and as @possibilities said, he didn't seem to be derailing the stories and interrupting, which we found quite annoying.
