  1. But but!! If she wore something appropriate she thinks no one would take notice! At least not the kind of notice she wants. I'll bet no one but us thought "modest" or "Godly" when we described FLOTUS's dress except in the context of mama duggar.
  2. HFC I'm on the way with a big bottle of Costco Vodka and a giant bag of Stacy's pita chips.
  3. I was looking at their fingernails but I see your point. We lived in south Louisiana for many years and in the summer the water out of the tap was warm enough to shower in. Not in winter, but in the hot summer. I guess I thought the same about Danger America, but maybe not.
  4. Indeed. We used to watch Clinton and Stacy all the time. They'd have to deal with the warped idea of "modesty" to work with this family. Clinton and Stacy would show them nice appropriate things and the Duggars would say where is the modesty panel. And then C and S would roll their eyes. What fun.
  5. Well Jana could make it for her. In her spare time from gardening.
  6. Who else predicts that the puppy will spend its life tied to a stake in the yard
  7. What kind of gutless wonders will fold to the wishes of JB. Those girls, honestly, aren't all that special. Is it the lure of fame such that it is? Do the girls give off some kind of pheromones that render the men weak? What gives?
  8. Just saw that and thought of you. Sending out all good vibes
  9. I would like to chalk it up to nannies, but, all of them have always said how accessible he has been to them, with many good examples, and don't forget the mother of the oldest three is Ivana and she was portrayed as hands on for the most part too when they were young. I'm sure they had staff, but, they were there too (I hate Trump so no support for him here politically or otherwise) and Marla Maples said Tiffany always had access to her father, but, she was raised alone and I'm pretty sure there were no nannies in that upbringing. And interestingly all those children seem very smart, based on their grades.
  10. We think Seth's show is maturing and is pretty smart and sometimes even funny, but mostly enjoyable depending on guests.
  11. True except those things tend to drag on forever unless there is a quick settlement and what are the chances of that.
  12. Izzy looks sweet... and clean in that picture. Very average looking. Spurge resembles him but I think he is cuter. I guess time will tell how it all plays out.
  13. That is 180 degrees different than that loon Dr. Laura who I listen to only when I think my blood pressure is too low - she makes it rise! Why can't any of them agree that there is no one solution that works for everyone for goodness sake.
  14. I agree, plus it looks to me like she has a film on her teeth! How shallow is that of me! But, I find it annoying.
  15. do they really think the general public will buy this and say "how healthy the Duggars are. How many squash do they need to feed the family?" None, because they don't really eat them. All for show.
  16. Oh my. Sending sympathies. Only thing I can say is daughter in law had terrible painful varicose veins after the three grands were born and she finally got some surgery which made the pain and whatever swelling she has (not sure it was edema) go away. Things are more advanced than they were. Wishing you a good outcome.
  17. Is that a giant fever blister on Famy's lip? Quite attractive - not
  18. Can't fault them for the Face time. Right now my 8 year old grandson is on Face time with me chatting while we both are on our respective computers. It does help keep a connection from a distance.
  19. I feel the pain of my celiac suffering fellow snarkers. Mr lookeyloo has food sensitivities - particularly to cow dairy. We can work around it but have to ask a lot of questions and read labels all the way to the end. His reaction is a severe migraine. So many people say "you can cheat just this once". Except not. Until we found out what was causing the migraines we both really had no life. We couldn't plan anything or go anywhere. He was sick a lot of the time. He said if he were ever sentenced to death he would ask for lasagna and cheesecake. In an hour he would be begging for death. So y'all can do it! Stand strong!!
  20. Well I am going to call it good news because while celiac can be tricky sometimes, you know what you have and can work with it and now you are on the road to feeling better!!!!
  21. I don't miss Michael at all. In the beginning I liked him quite a bit and then as time went on I felt like he thought he was "all that"'and more
