  7. Lady Viola Salad of Amazon
  8. I figured they did that to accomdate Haddish's schedule. I don't think they are gone for good, just recurring characters.
  9. Meaner than a cup of coffee in a chicken coop.....Okie dokie
  10. I honestly don't get how Sherry made it to the final 4. Most of her looks have been the exact same week after week, with only 2 notable exceptions. Poor Jackie---I think she killed that lip sync challenge but no way was Crystal going home. I'm rooting for my girl Jaida, but I think this is Gigi's to lose. All the extra praise over an ok performance and final outfit was too much. I did like her red look though.
  11. RIP Little Richard. There would have never been a Prince as we knew him without Little Richard's style. The original rock star.
  12. Hey guys, please see the notice in red at the bottom of this thread. Let's please get back on the topic of discussing the episode, and not particular actors in general. Thank you!
  13. It was alright. The older actors saved this from being a complete mess, especially Ms. Patti. I absolutely hate the dumbing down of Rock Hudson. That actor captured nothing of the real Rock Hudson's charm. It was painful and a blight on the series, if you ask me. All this talk of inclusion and acceptance, and they had lighter skinned Queen Latifah play darker skinned Hattie. No bueno, in my opinion. Very disappointing and highly ironic. RM would have scored a million points with me if he had used someone that looked like the real Hattie, even if she wasn't a household name.
  14. As an Invisalign user myself, I find that utterly disgusting.
  15. Baron Von Hypochondria Now I have a new nickname for my step-brother. He's quarantined himself in his room his entire adult life (leaving only for food or work) because he is sure he's allergic to everything under the sun.
  16. I figured Mama Ru would not want to send anyone home in front of the superfans. That being said, Heidi totally deserved to go home. That was atrocious and her superfan deserved better than that horrible outfit. Also, Heidi's makeup embarrasses me and I don't even wear much makeup so I have no room to talk. Gigi is the definition of "resting on pretty". I can't believe Sherry keeps getting praised for the same look over and over and over. She is so boring. I wouldn't like her even if she was a decent human being. I'm rooting for Jaida to win this thing. I loved everything about her in this episode. I want her to be my drag mother!
  17. I knew there was there was no way Ms. Vanessa Williams was going home without the win, but my favorite was Tami. She nailed Jane Fonda completely in the Rusical. This was such a fun episode--I absolutely loved it. Miles better than last weeks episode.
  18. I'm not too familiar with the real life Betty,so all I when I looked at Tracey was Bea Arthur. I kept thinking she would be perfectly cast to play her if they should ever do a biopic on her, so I giggled when she mentioned Maude. I loved Margaret organizing her own group and loved Niecy Nash's character shutting down those two women who didn't support lesbians joining their group. Very interesting episode.
  19. I am a Taraji stan so I stuck with this to the very end. Sad that it went out on such a cobbled-together whimper--really hope FOX gives them the opportunity to properly wrap things up after this pandemic is over. I'm gonna miss this soap.
  20. Thanks for clarifying. Still disappointed that they had Nicole Beharie and all they managed to give her was a 2-second phone conversation. Criminally underutilized, but at least she looked beautiful in '90s makeup and dress.
  21. Of course there would be no payoff with Pearl meeting her biological father and his wife. Let's instead focus on close up shots on Kerry and Reese instead. What a waste of Nicole Beharie.
  22. This song helped me process 9/11 and its helping me now with processing this new COVID 19 world we are living in. "It's just a moment, this time will pass."
  23. I can't wait for John Amos and Marla Gibbs. JB Smoove annoys me so I'll be glad when that arc is over. Bye, Bobby.
  24. I wanted to love this, but the story telling was so cringeworthy at times and the stereotypical scenarios were aggravating. Carmen, Octavia, and Blair Underwood deserved far better than this script. This series unfortunately highlighted Tiffany's limitations. I'm honestly glad it was 4 episodes because Tiffany was like nails on a chalkboard for me. At least Madame Walker's story was finally told. It's a shame that her story wasn't taught in history lessons (at least not when I was in school).
