I wish this were true of FL state troopers. So tired of people slowing down the left lane traffic to have a texting conversation on their phone. Texting and driving is illegal here, but not currently being enforced due to COVID,.

I just love having to be there 15 minutes before my appointment only to still be sitting in the waiting room 30-45 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment time because they over book appointment times. Booking them in 1/2 hour allotments is just ridiculous because there are bound to be patients that need extra time and care. I wish they would just book them in hour allotments. Yes, there would be less availability, but it would also mean less time wasting for those in the waiting room, especially in these times where sitting in a room with a group of strangers who may or may not be wearing their masks correctly is nerve-wracking.

If it makes you feel any better, I work in an animal shelter in one of the hottest spots in FL, and other than an increase in folks wanting to give up their cats, their hasn't really been a difference from the Before Times. None of the many cats that come through our doors daily have shown symptoms so far. The CDC does recommend that if you test positive, that you should stay away from your pets (and if you can't, handle them/their care with gloves) to minimize the chance of transmission.

Luckily cats thermoregulate so she shouldn't be too uncomfortable, but cats look for any excuse to be lazy, so I'm she would blame the heat anyway. 😊

I'm highly annoyed to find out that the new "The Stand" mini-series will only be available via CBS All-Access. I will not pay for another streaming service for one mini-series. I miss the days when having regular cable was sufficient enough.

Yes, deep puncture wounds is the primary source of FIV transmission from cat to cat. I love FIV positive cats--they usually have an extra roundness to their heads that makes them really adorable. At the shelter I work at, this was my favorite FIV cat ever. He used to jump up and hug me when I came in. I lobbied so hard for a rescue to take him and they did. I cried happy tears when he left.

I keep thinking she may have gotten caught on an underwater branch or something. As someone who vividly remembers being caught undertow as young girl, I can't imagine how helpless she may have felt, just trying to get back to her child. I do hope their is a discovery soon, for her family's sake.

Same here. I am hoping the factories stay closed to give me a break during New Years. The amount of people actually entertained by this garbage is astounding.

On a scale of not being fazed to full out curiosity, my cats are displaying a level of annoyance usually reserved for when they hear me singing along to the radio or television.

I was just coming to post the exact same thing. Just heard actual fireworks outside right now. Why can it never rain on the one day I wish for a nonstop torrential downpour?

Just saw this on HBO and I was so disappointed in the changes made from the book--all of my favorite scenes were missing or changed. A shame, because the acting was great. Really was looking forward to a moment of closure between Danny and Jack.

Payton's team counted the ballots from the stolen box--Payton officially won. Judith Light was the only watchable part of this season for me. Even Bette became too over the top for me. Of course, I'd watch Judith read out of a phonebook. I'm good if this was the series finale.
