  1. There are twenty teams in the finals, with four groups of five.
  2. "Let Me Think About It" by Ida Corr and Fedde Le Grande, per the graphics before his skate.
  3. My husband described as an "upside down octopus having a snack."
  4. Evan Lysacek skated to Rhapsody in Blue when he won Worlds in 2009. He skated to Firebird and Scheherazade in the 2010 Olympics.
  5. Mark reminds me of Wreck-It Ralph, but I can see the Magilla, too.
  6. I don't believe that is a tear in the carpet. Look closely, and you will see it is the intersection of the aisle Jill is walking down, and an aisle going perpendicular to it. I think that is some sort of "decorative" diamond-shape in the flooring, not a tripping hazard.
  7. Katy Kurtzman played Caroline in "I Remember, I Remember." Katy and Kim did resemble each other when they were younger.
  8. The Speaker of the House does not become Vice President if something happens to the Vice President. That's not how the line of succession works; that is in place to ensure there is always a president. If BOTH the president and VP die or are not able to continue to serve, then the Speaker of the House is next in line to be president. Consider that the most recent VP to vacate the office before the end of his term was Spiro Agnew, Nixon's first VP, who resigned in 1973. The Speaker at that time, Carl Albert, did not become VP. Nixon then nominated Gerald Ford, who was confirmed by the Senate, became VP, and less than a year later, became president when Nixon resigned. Section 2 of the 25th Amendment explains it: "Section 2. Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress."
  9. Yes, I'm pretty sure that was Elizabeth.
  10. One of my favorite moments is in "Divorce, Walnut Grove Style," the one where Laura is convinced Almanzo is in love with Brenda Sue. Laura starts a fight with Brenda Sue outside the schoolhouse and restaurant, and Ma has to come out to break up the fight and send the schoolchildren home. Laura is still yapping about Brenda Sue ("I should have scratched her eyes out!") when Ma yanks her arm and sternly snaps, "You will be SILENT!" I rewind and watch that part a couple times every time that episode is on, because I just enjoy stern Ma putting Laura in her place. I'm evil like that.
  11. All of the Fierce Five, including McKayla, appeared with Shawn.
  12. Aly has already done DWTS, so they will likely go with another Olympian.
  13. That video is from the 2012 Olympics, not the Rio Olympics.
  14. Could someone please fill me in on why Meredith's patient was bleeding? I saw the part where she was given the cancer-free diagnosis, then was interrupted by a phone call. When I got back to the show, that patient was bleeding all over. What happened?
  15. If I never hear "booty bumping" again, it will be too soon. Really didn't care for those two last night and their complaints about space in the kitchens.
  16. Am I the only one who now has the Frito Bandito song stuck in my head after hearing that mariachi music over and over?
  17. Not to nitpick, but the quote is, "Do you believe in miracles? YES!!!" I've never been a huge fan of Tara Lipinski, and this episode did nothing to change my mind.
  18. A flight from Los Angeles to Sydney is over 14 hours long. I haven't watched this show in weeks. It's far more entertaining reading here.
  19. Lesbian? That poster was of Taylor Hanson, of the group "Hanson." Very much a guy. Kate's holding their "Mmm Bop" cd at one point.
  20. There are now, of course, several links on Facebook to various articles about little baby Seewald. One woman commented that we should all leave Ben and Jessa alone, because they are the parents and can do whatever they want, and in fact, she did the same herself when she named her baby girl Ocean. Is this the trend now, just to choose any noun and turn that into a name? If so, I'm partial to Skillet Seewald. Heck, you could open the dictionary and point randomly to any word and probably come up with a better name than Spurgeon. Not only will the kid never, ever be able to find anything with his name on it, he will likely be teased, too.
  21. Two days ago, Jessa posted a "39 weeks 4 days" pic of herself on Instagram. So, yes, she is about to hit the 40 week mark.
  22. That is Paige Davis, host of "Trading Spaces." This is Tom with his wife.
  23. Megyn is on vacation. Not sure when she's expected back, I think she was supposed to be gone 10 days.
  24. Don't be so sure; there may not be a lot of Z names, but that doesn't mean people won't make them up. I just saw today that a local family has 5 children, all with names starting with Z. I only know three of the names: Zaelin, Zoren and Zevon.
