I noticed JoshUa is all the way to the left of the group. Maybe it's so they can easily crop him out of the family photo.

Maybe I'm not seeing it properly, but the book looks like the cover says "If I ran the zoo", which if true, is by Dr. Seuss...who had quite the imagination. That would give me hope that he's not just being fed a steady diet of books only about religion. To me, that would be a good sign (so I'm probably just making it all up in my head ) ;-)

We're allowed to do funny and not just fuzzy, right? ;-) I laughed and laughed at this guy being forced by his mom to go on a diet. Full disclosure, I'm fat too, so I'm not fat shaming him. His reaction just cracked me up. (the more I watch it,I think it's just a guy doing comedy) but it made me guffaw, so that's what counts, right? ;-)

This is what I wrote to my sister this morning.: "You're still my sister, and I love you, but having you GLEEFULLY announce this morning to me that you voted for a misogynistic anti-Semitic ,racist, and homophobic person like Trump has made me lose all respect for you. . Congrats on your candidate winning, I guess, but I am sick at heart for this country. I guess now I know how you REALLY feel about my nonwhite family and friends, my Jewish family and friends, and my friends and family who are LGBTQ. Only Christian and pure White are ok in your book if you voted for Trump. That's my honest opinion, and I won't apologize for saying it ..EVER. //end rant/ Ps been crying ever since I sent it, but don't regret doing so.

I only got TEN trick or treaters today. Our weather was very, very nice today too. My grandkids are going to get A LOT of candy the next time I see them (they'd better hurry before my husband eats it all..I buy the good stuff.) How many trick or treaters did the rest of you get? Or are you a 'shut the shades, turn off all the lights, and pretend you're not home' kind of person? ;-)

Ever since I read the Disney book " Odyssey of an Otter " when I was a young kid, I've LOVED otters. I need to remember to look at otter pictures when the election starts to make me feel (VERY) stressed out. It's not helping me calm down watching the Cubs in the world series with my husband. I'm a die hard Sox fan, but I want them to win SO badly for him!

In Tom's defense, the first thing I thought when I saw the student desk and the little toy dish rack was "oh, he must have grandkids!" I think I have more toys in my house than my grandkid's parents do.

I wonder if she'll ever let her gray hair show? I have a couple of older family members who never let a gray or white hair show. In my opinion, the older someone gets, and tries keep the same hair color (and LENGTH) as when they were younger,the more unnatural their original hair looks with their aging faces. I bet Boob dyes the heck out of his hair too. (or maybe my family just loses hair pigmentation earlier than their family does.) We must not be as Godly as the Duggars ;-)
