More like Melba Splat. Ha. I knew it was going to happen when she backed out into the road. She lost all the sympathy I felt for her when Mac died last week so I just laughed.

At least Dean has come to his senses. Listening to him, it makes sense that his obsession with mahjong and getting sucked in by Mac and Melba that was his way of dealing with the trauma of killing Duval. He just couldn't vocalize how he was feeling. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a reunion with Virginia.

WTF, Toby! I can't believe that he gave up Roller. And WTF to UncleDaddy murdering the priest. These people are hardcore evil.

Polly and Joe are annoying as shit. I hope Benedict kills Joe. Ken was weak, but he was nicer and not a monster like Joe.

Duane Beverly Husser.

That is all ... 🤣

I am glad Dean finally knows or rather has accepted the truth about Melba and Mac. I also liked that he talked Desna out of killing Melba. I really love their relationship. I was also happy to see Dean and Roller talking and Roller encouraging him to go get Virginia back.

And Roller is too much. He was right when he told Polly that roughnecks outcha. This roughneck outcha ready to catch another 1st degree murder case for his lady 🤣

I met season 3 Roller before going back and meeting season 1 episode 1 Roller. Man his black ass has changed. 🤣

I loved the group fight. They were saying some hard truths and pointing fingers but I didn't doubt one second that their relationship was still on solid ground.

And the beginning when the ladies were in bed with Ann ... that's what true friendship looks like. I just hate Polly wasn't there.

I have no words for Toby. NONE!

And Clay, oh gawd I should have know his "redemption" wouldn't last. I do wonder if his pointing the finger at Clint for shooting at Desna was his way of literally getting rid of him. He promised Clint a piece of the pie and used Roller to do it.

With all the secrets coming out in this episode, I wonder if Roller will ever find out it was Toby who shot at Desna.

Bryce is clearly not happy with Clay's lying to Roller and I wonder if something is going to come of that.

Polly is very casual telling folks she killed the governor. But for his wife, she and Joe might be the perfect match.

Another fun episode.

Does anybody know who Toby was with when he shot at Desna?

That is what I want to know.

I kept thinking Toby wasn't by himself. I do wonder if Clint was the driver.

I'm also wondering now if Toby outted Roller to get back at Desna. He didn't like Desna "disrespecting" Clay when she told he it would be 3 grand to use her license.

I don't even remember who "Clint" was.

I didn't hate Melba, she was no worse than the other criminals, but I did crack up when she got hit by that truck full of chickens.

Polly needs to die.

Clint was a member of the Dixie Mafia and a cousin of Roller's. Clint told Roller that Uncle Daddy killed his father. Uncle Daddy told Roller that Clint shot at Desna when it was really Toby. Desna and Roller kill Clint. Toby tells the police that Roller killed Clint.

Melba got hit with a truck full of chickens while yelling “pussy” — nice callback to the Chicken Pussy episode. 😆

Ann is starting to annoy me. I hope this is the last episode where we have to see visions of Arlene.

I like Joe and Polly, but he’s a terrible influence on her. Joe’s definitely going to meet an unfortunate end if he’s mixed up with the Triad.

Damn it, Toby! Damn it, Clay! Oooh, what’s Bryce gonna do?

Ok, thanks!

Not sure why Quiet Ann didn't realize that letting her brother tell everybody that the Governor is corrupt is what caused Arlene's death. Period.

Exactly! Even if Joe is the one who told the Professor what Mac and Melba were doing, the only reason Arlene was at the casino was because she was there trying to save Big Mouth Ann's ass. The more Ann talks, the less I like her. Every season when things are going there worst, that's when Ann wants to pipe up and blame Desna for everything as if Desna held a gun to her head and forced her into it. She's fine with going along for the ride until things get out of hand then it's all, "I knew it was wrong!" Whatevs.

I wish I could be happy Dean has come around to knowing that Mac and Melba were bad and that the whole mahjong thing was about dealing with his guilt. But he had to wait until one was the dead and the other one was laughing in his face about taking his money. I stopped caring about Dean a lot this season.

Joe is a mole for the Professor. Didn't see that coming. Seems like a convenient way to get rid of him when everything blows up.

"You killed Melba yet? Ima come help you as soon as I finish doing this other thing." Roller and Desna are perfect for each other.

I liked that colorful duster Desna was wearing over her blue jumpsuit. Was that Versace?  (It remains interesting to me that Worn on TV won't cover this show. Not all the clothes are trashy.)

Jenn's right, there's nothing like a circuitous metaphor. It's like a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma on top of a balloon. 🙄

Natural Born Killers. Great reference for Joe and Polly. Except for the already married part. 😑

Yeah, no, I don't get the whole hot yoga thing. Does it really work for heading off a potential drug test failure?

Melba toast indeed. Good riddance.

AFAICM Toby can die next. And gee, guess Clay killed that priest for no reason.

That is interesting! A lot of the clothes are flamboyant (to put it mildly, heh), but it's also how they're styled that makes things so hilarious to me. Too much is never enough.

So is took awhile, but Dean has caught on to the obvious fact that Mack and Melba are obviously bad news and were using him. Although it is kind of sad that he never knew that it did seem like Mack did actually care about him, but I cant angst about that too much. Dean has been driving me nuts with his obliviousness all season, and while I can understand why he wants independence and gets annoyed that Desna tends to baby him, him listening to these two obviously sketchy people over his own sister who so clearly loves him was just so frustrating. Its been established that while Dean does have mental problems, he is an adult person capable of making his own choices, so he should have known better at this point.

Ann is sure chatty lately? I am glad that she found out quickly that Desna lied to her about who killed Arlene, and that she seems to be over it. Desna has a bad habit of lying to her friends and loved ones in order to "protect them" and that makes it even worse when they find out what she did, even if they usually get over it. Yeah she usually had her heart in the right place,  but its usually more trouble than its worth.

Glad that Melba is dead, and she died as she lived: without dignity or decency.

I admit that I enjoy the murder happy hot mess that is Joe and Polly, but I hope that they arent going to be together for much longer. He really brings out the worst in her, and Polly isn't exactly the best person in the world to begin with! They really are natural born killers, especially together.

Damn it Toby, this is NOT how to unburden yourself! I should have known something bad would be coming for Roller again as soon as Desnaa was saying how he was the only good thing in her life.

You would think Ann would be super pissed at her brother, its more his fault that Arlene died than Desna, unless you blame Desna for deciding to use the nail salon as a money front in the first place and starting this life of crime, but its not like any of them were running away from a life of crime or anything.

My favorite outfit was probably the jacket thing that Desna was rocking, that looked really good on her. The wardrobe people on this show must have a freaking blast every day.

I know! The nonchalant attitude in Roller's tone when he asked Desna that had me rolling. And I thought it was sweet and hilarious that seconds after he said he wasn't going back to prison (for murder) he's ready to commit murder again.

Another little funny moment was when Roller and Dean were talking. Dean starts out saying he isn't in the mood to converse yet proceeds to converse LOL.

I really enjoyed Desna and Ann's last scene in the shop. It may have been my favorite moment of the episode.

What a complete idiot for not even considering the other kind of confession. And how did he know which church to go to anyway? Did Toby really talk that much about his old church that he hadn't been to in years?

OMG, can I get this engraved on my tombstone?!

I agree, Joe does bring the worst out of Polly,  and I’m afraid she’s going to land in hot water if she stays with him. However, they seem so perfect for each other so I’m going to enjoy what little time they have left before he inevitably bites the bullet. I hope she had already moved on by that point (either to Ken or by herself to enjoy some “me” time) so it won’t hurt her so much. I don’t need another character grieving over the loss of the love of her life.

I loved Roller and Desna in this episode. Desna saying, I am with a man that I tried to kill. They were so sweet in the casino even with the black comedy of Roller was offering to help her kill Melba. Ah, love Claws style. A couple that kills together stays together.

This season hasn't been my favorite, but I think the last couple episodes have really picked up.

I am glad Desna refused to be blamed for Arlene's death because it is totally Ann's fault. I don't need to see ghost Arlene any more.

I also laughed when Polly was using her Shmesna metaphor and Virginia was all "I'm the sexy zebra!" Never change, Virginia........

I cannot believe Toby went to the police and did that to Roller. Not sure whose side Uncle Daddy is going to take........

Arlene didn't have to go to the casino. A lot of people can take a share of the blame.

Ok, true she didn't have to go to the casino, but her going there was a direct result of the trouble they were in because of Ann blabbing to her brother and him spilling the beans. It was definitely not Desna's fault like Ann was accusing. If you want to say it all goes back to the Casino, which is Desna's fault, I don't buy that because the whole crew seemed all in on the casino before it fell apart....

This was the best episode in a weak season.  The show works best when the whole crew works together or is at each other's throats, and this episode had both!  Jenn wins MVP for some awesome line delivery with 'You're gonna be a great mom', and 'Bitch, I love that song!', among others.

The big drawback this season was the villains:  poorly conceived, written and acted.  You know it's bad when a major plot point hangs on the adoption of a 40 year old man.

But now that they're gone, the show is finally picking up steam!

I just watched this episode! I thought it was funny but kind of parody-ish at some points. When the gang let Melba be alone and she ran away I wanted to yell at my screen for being in the crime world for so long and doing a rookie move like that. The first scene where Virginia was like "take her out to the club?" and Jen was like "you're not a hit girl, you're a tit girl" felt like their lines were made by a (talented) bot. I'm glad Dean and Desna made up and that Melba is finally gone. I laughed hard at her final scene. I like that their fights for who was at fault for all the crime stuff mirrored the threads over here. I still don't get all of the Toby/Uncle Daddy stuff.
