Does she really live in that big of a bubble? She goes to public school. I hope she doesn't squirt whipped cream in her mouth in the middle of class just to be accepted.

She is also on tv and lives in Georgia.  Georgia’s Obesity rates (among adults) is up 31%.  Which affects how children are raised.   Rates for children and teens are the worst in America.   Georgia Mandates Gym  class K-8 grade but does not require recess which is just as important in keeping young children acttve

Jessica should be commended for not living off the reality show and graduating from college. I hope Alana doesn't become a teen mom like Pumpkin and is more like Jessica that she goes to college and gets away from the show business/reality tv life. I don't know if Pumpkin graduated from high school.

I think June saw Pumpkin as being loyal to her so she became the favorite. Pumpkin backed June when she denied her pedo boyfriend abused Anna. Pumpkin covered June's drug use because she depends on the show income too.

My speculation is that June likes her kids to be more like her and not better themselves too much. Also she obviously loves the grandbaby.

I am leery that Pumpkin put Ella in a pageant after saying on the show earlier this season she didn't want to because of how pageants affected Alana.

I am glad Pumpkin is looking out for Alana and hopefully Pumpkin has matured enough to be a good influence.

JMO, I don't see that happening.   Alana likes being in the spot light too much.   If she doesn't get her big 'Hollywood Break', she'll be satisfied to continue with reality TV.

I do agree, though,  based on what we're being shown,  Pumpkin & her husband are much better caretakers for Alana than Gummy Bear & Jennifer.   An added bonus,  Alana can become the pageant coach for Pumpkins baby & teach her the tag line that got Honey Boo Boo famous,  "I'll holler for a dollar!".

Watching the episode from last week.  The paramedics said,  based on her having a stroke before, that June could possibly be having mini strokes.   Pumpkin goes to the camera and says "the paramedics literally said she is having mini strokes."  That's not at all what they said.

From what I just heard, Gino was telling her to go to the hospital,  he was not stopping her.

WE TV is the devil. Alana should not have been on camera for this.  She is a child. Where the fuck is that creep Sugar Bear? Shouldn't he be protecting his daughter and going to court for an injunction to stop this episode from airing. Alana is going through enough, now she has that extra burden of experiencing her mother's downfall in front of the world. Someone needs to protect her.

Why are they asking MJ what's going on? She's on drugs. Stop insulating our intelligence you jackasses.

They are trying to set this up like MJ needs to get mental health therapy at a rehab. Now they are just straight up taking Cate and Leah's storyline's from Teen Mom. Nothing to see here. No drugs here. MJ just needs to get her power back. Do some yoga and she's good to go.

I figure it was a scripted story line, but remember when Jennifer was trying to prove Alana wasn't Sugar Bear's biological child? Now Jennifer thinks they should have custody. smdh

I forgot about that! I remember the DNA test, but forgot why they did it. In the preview, I saw Jennifer say something about Alana living with them. I have my suspensions as to why she wants her to. Poor baby, I wish I could take Alana in.

They talk about "treatment" but they make it sound like a spiritual retreat and not drug rehab

Right?!  They made it sound as if June is addicted to Geno, and that Geno is the sole crackhead in the relationship, when everyone on Earth knows that was a joint undertaking.

June "needs to find herself" and "is so afraid of Geno" and that's why she needs "treatment." As if we didn't just watch her walk into the intervention higher than her "fat cake" bill.

Who are they fooling with the Sugar Bear wants custody of Alana mess?  If SB wanted custody, he would have been in court to get at least visitation a long time ago, not to mention getting Alana off tv once everyone knew she was living a damn drug den.  Not buying the they don't have room excuse either.  If SB really wanted Alana, he would have found a house with a bedroom for her.

I'm a little shocked they finally acknowledged June is on drugs, but then the only people who really said it were the psychiatrist and Big Mike.

Next season will be June's road to redemption

June will promise to go to rehab (on WE's dime) to avoid prison time and we'll watch her get clean.  They better hope the judge doesn't ban June from doing reality shows.

I don’t watch the show but I do have TMZ on my DVR so I get the gist of the situation.  I did watch the intervention episode which I think is the season finale because i was curious how it would be framed.   It’s not at all surprising that the whole situation is being presented (true or not) as Geno being June’s real problem.  The drugs are being presented as symptom of the larger Geno issue.   If June gets away from Geno for any length of time then the drug issue would take care of itself.   At least that is his I saw the show presenting the issue.

Personal observation.  Jennifer has no business getting involved. It looks like Sugar Bear was just hoping for more visits but then Jennifer was having  Alana moving in even though Pumpkin had things under control.

I'm kind of hoping that this is the last we see of this entire family for a while.  Let Alana get back into school.  WHOEVER was home-schooling her probably wasn't even capable of teaching anything to anyone.  I think she really needs some good counseling, some regular schedule of going to school and some time away from the spotlight.  Just live a regular life.

Big old badass Jennifer sure was all hat and no cattle when it came time to put up or shut up regarding Alana's custody.  I found it hilarious that out of that whole bunch, Lauryn was the one writing up Jennifer's "RULES"..... Yeah, right. I'm guessing neither SB nor Jennifer had the capacity to even write anything.

I'm still mystified how June & Geno can AFFORD to live at a casino hotel!  That's probably just some horseshit.  They're probably actually holed up in the CAR somewhere, DOWN BY THE RIVER.....

I have no more words. Wait! I thought of one! PATHETIC.

HBB was being home schooled? Pumpkin may be street smart but she is not book smart enough to be teaching.

I admit I would be lousy at home schooling, I would be starting school at noon so we could sleep in. LOL

June was doing the home schooling, not Lauryn.  I can't even imagine.....

So,  everything we've been watching is one big lie?  According to Pumpkin,  Gino is a good guy,  he's a father figure to them,  he's never been abusive to June, all of this,  including the drug charges, have been blown out of proportion.

I also thought the whole "intervention" took place before the drug arrest?

That's what I have been saying on here. The producers went back and edited the show in order to cast Geno as the villain so they could try to save June's reputation.

Does June really have to stay in Alabama? or is it just a lie to be with Geno. I live right in a tri state area and people get arrested for drugs or other offenses that live over the state line and they can go back to their state after bail is posted?

My guess is Alana's home school is online schooling. I know when our school has a kid with any issue that is not easily solved, the easy (and cheap ) solution is give them a laptop and take online classes from home.  It is fine if a child a an illness or is struggling with an issue that needs to be dealt with but Alana said she wanted to go back to school. No reason to be home schooling or online schooling a child wanting to be at school.

Most of the episode felt real and sad but then Jennifer has to "act" like they were going to fight for Alana. Where was Alana going to sleep ? on the floor? Jennifer has the weird acting adult son living with her and sugar bear and no extra bedrooms. Sad that Sugar bear did not want to even fight for Alana. Just said, "she probably better off with Pumpkin".  It broke my heart seeing Alana say she really has no parents, think about how TLC showed then a few years ago farting on the couch, having redneck games at the lake, and doing the charity  Christmas and now we have those two parents sure have failed Alana.

I was wanting to hear more from Jessica, but hear tears made me know this part was real and not scripted.

Hope you know I was being sarcastic.   I have always agreed with what you have said about Gino being rescripted as the 'bad guy'.  I really had to laugh when they claimed it stemmed from his "jail time" after being picked up for missing a couple of hours of community service.   They made it sound as if he were sentenced to years in a hard core federal penitentiary instead of a local jail for a day or so.

I only have watched a short bit of last night's show.   That niece sure is enjoying the spotlight.   Seems like she has a hard time containing her grin.
