FormerMod-a1 October 9, 2018 Share October 9, 2018 Quote Will, Grace, and Jack are upset when they discover they’ve been too preoccupied with the changes in their own lives: Will teaching law at Columbia, Grace running for president of the New York Interior Designers Society and Jack’s new relationship with Estefan to even notice Karen has not been seen in days – ever since her husband found out about her affair with Malcolm. festivus October 12, 2018 Share October 12, 2018 That beard was really working for me. 17 Link to comment
Madding crowd October 12, 2018 Share October 12, 2018 Like the beard but the rest of the episide was awful. It seemed like a junior high school play or something. Every line seemed awkward and like it was being read off cue cards. Last week was so much better. 3 Link to comment
janeyjay October 12, 2018 Share October 12, 2018 Gotta admit -- once I saw the beard, I kind of forgot everything else that was happening in the episode. Whoa. 7 Link to comment
Tanichka October 12, 2018 Share October 12, 2018 The "beard" joke cracked me up. Kind of a weird, disjointed episode. OK, though. 5 Link to comment
iMonrey October 12, 2018 Share October 12, 2018 Did the first two episodes air out of order? I had completely forgotten about Will's mother hooking up with Grace's father, and the opening here seemed like a follow up to that. Then we had a "three months later" jump. Seemed like this was meant for the season premier. Agreed on the beard . . . with the glasses at first, in the classroom. Whoa. 12 Link to comment
ams1001 October 13, 2018 Share October 13, 2018 When did Will get a job teaching? Maybe I just don't pay that much attention.. 3 Link to comment

Gothish520 October 13, 2018 Share October 13, 2018 I liked this episode, though it did feel disjointed. Jack talking to his mom on the phone was hilarious ("Of course I'll call you after World of Dance, it's the quarterfinals, I'm not a monster!"). The comment from Linda the tour bus girl about poisoning her father-in-law and Karen fist-bumping her was too much though. Creepy. 4 Link to comment

It would explain the no beard, beard, shave off the beard and the 3 month time jump. 6 Link to comment

He quit his lawyering to work in Grace's office, and the writers made use of that set-up for, oh, maybe one episode? So I imagine Will's teaching job will last only until the writers can't figure out how to make Will's students funny (which might have already happened?). 4 Link to comment
janie jones October 14, 2018 Share October 14, 2018 Oh I don't know. Is he full-time or an adjunct? He might still be working with Grace. 1 Link to comment
juliet73 October 14, 2018 Share October 14, 2018 This episode was awful, except for Will's beard. I hope he keeps it! 6 Link to comment

How odd that they would air it as the second one. And yea... that beard was really working for me as well ? On 10/13/2018 at 2:35 PM, chitowngirl said: I agree the first tw episodes were switched. Miss Dee October 15, 2018 Share October 15, 2018 Okay, someone needs to sit down with the W&G producers and explain very clearly and with purpose that it is imperative Eric McCormack keep that beard. That thing could be responsible for an entire 10th of a ratings point all on its own. 8 Link to comment
TV Diva Queen October 15, 2018 Share October 15, 2018 totally makes sense that this was supposed to be episode one. At the end of last season, weren't they sitting at the bar at the parent's wedding? As a throwback to the end of the real Will and Grace bar scene? If not, then it should have been. LOL 2 Link to comment
Bridget October 17, 2018 Share October 17, 2018 (edited) I’m not a Tweeter nor do I engage in social media, but does anyone know what the Twitterverse has said or what the overall response has been about gorgeous Eric and his gorgeous beard? At the tail end of the episode, Will said he’d shave it off, but I hope to God he never does. His agent better get that cemented into all of his contracts! “Eric must maintain full beard...” Edited October 17, 2018 by Bridget 2 Link to comment
Guest October 17, 2018 Share October 17, 2018 This was definitely supposed to be the first episode because there was zero mention of David Schwimmer. Everything with Karen was more stale and campy than usual. Bad high school play indeed. Will's beard was the MVP of this ep. Link to comment
ButterQueen October 19, 2018 Share October 19, 2018 Pulling up my table for one....I loved it. Jack on the phone with his mom was hysterical. He just gets better and better. Will in that beard....???? This show is 30 minutes of nostalgic happy for me. 4 Link to comment
ButterQueen October 20, 2018 Share October 20, 2018 I just rewatched the episode with my DH. Jack’s bathroom scene, on the phone, was hilarious. Him plucking his eyebrows was comedy gold. 3 Link to comment
