Tough to say. I don't think Sophia's welfare is ever in danger as some of the children's on this show are. I think Farrah truly loves Sophia but maybe doesn't know how to relate to a child or understand age-appropriateness. She does leave her in the care of others a lot while she goes away on "business" or trips, but maybe that balances out with when she's home for weeks at a time and doesn't have a babysitter. Still, it must be odd for a child that age to go such periods of time without seeing their mom.

When Farrah moved to Florida, they filmed a date of hers with some guy. Another man commented on the tabloid stories about that man, that he was involved in acting or something, and that he had actually dated Farrah for a few months. The story updated with the info about the man on the show, confirming he was an actor and that the date was probably not legit, but couldn't get the man who was commenting to give up his name. He answered some questions in the comments, including that Sophia was never around and was living with Debra, which later was shown on the show. Farrah asked Debra to keep her why she finished school and went on vacation to Austin with the stepson of the lone bird, but didn't show that Sophia was only there for filming, and he claimed that there was never any kid stuff around. To that point, Farrah seems super neat, so everything was probably put away and she only allowed Sophia to have one or two things at once. Compared to when Debra was there and they were painting the dog, and Sophia's stuff was everywhere like most kids.

He gave a bunch of info on what her porn would be, and after it was released, a new article was posted showing how correct he was, but he still wouldn't give a formal interview. I think he went to school with her and they separated because he said they just didn't get along, and had the opportunity to trash her and didn't, other than revealing her sexual preferences, which isn't really trashing, but still inappropriate assholish behavior, in my opinion.

I'm going to see if I can find it and the info on the boyfriend she tried to get a restraining order on. It wasn't Derek, it was after him and I think when the show was on hiatus. 

According to Simon, Debra's boyfriend tried to tweet Farrah's first, then moved on to her when Farrah didn't respond. Debra has always maintained that they met on a dating site. She had been scammed on one of them before, so probably was still using them to meet someone. Simon's responded to someone asking him if it was true, and said yes. I don't know where it came from originally, but I only saw it on Simon's twitter. Dave's friend "Geoff" tweeting Farrah as him is probably the truth. hahahaha

Radar's crappy site crashed my browser and locked up my computer! I had to hold the power button down to shut it down, and it probably wasn't even what I was looking for, rat bastards. I'm still looking for the articles I mentioned, but one of the links in my search was an article that included the tweet where Simon said Dr. Douche tweeted Farrah before Debra, and am going to link it here while I keep searching. That article was on Radar and said they couldn't find any tweet from him to Farrah. I suppose he could have deleted it.

Good question.  I don't know the answer.  I've visited 2 rehabs and one detox.  I wasn't married to any one of them.  Only blood related to one of three people, as well.  My gut reaction is that she's pregnant and they shotgunned the wedding and it has nothing to do with his health.  I have no idea, though.

It depends. There are rules at rehab and some of them are that there can't be any visitation as that is a disruption to the process.

It would be nice if Farrah would just blurt this shit out on the show or at least on the Marriage Boot Camp show. It would then explain why she is the way she is to him.

Not necessarily but you would need to be some type of significant other/family member. Usually you are required to attend classes and lectures (usually on a Saturday morning) before you are allowed to visit that afternoon or evening. I am wondering if it was for insurance purposes although it wouldn't seem at this point Mackenzie could afford any type of decent health insurance.

Nope. I do not think she's a very good mother at all. For a myriad of reasons. She is trying to force Sophia to grow up too quickly (waxing eyebrows, creating her own snapchat, wearing makeup to school.) She exposes her to incredibly toxic and inappropriate relationships. She is either really harsh on her or completely babying her. The child is stunted. Plus, I think she goes away a lot and leaves her behind. Can someone who is familiar with Farrah's area in Council Bluffs tell me the major colleges there or over in Nebraska. The man Farrah tried to get a restraining order on was a soccer player at a university and it was originally filed through the college police department, according to someone on Reddit. I've searched Pottawammie County websites but can't get the public records without paying and registering, and it looks like that may not even be the county I want to be searching. I have way too many tabs open searching at the moment and know that some of you know the area.

I had forgotten until I read it, but Farrah dated a man named Jon Parra (? closed the tab already) who worked on a radio show with Ryan Seacrest. It ended poorly and he gave interviews about it, and so did she, but I didn't grab those.

Farrah's neighbor who was her date on the show was named Adam. Hollywood life posted an article about the poor date, but it doesn't have any comments and doesn't give his last name. Council Bluffs is right over the river from Omaha, NE. It's quite likely he went to college there - UNO is the big one. University of Nebraska at Omaha. There's also Creighton University. Other than that, there's mostly just smaller or Christian or community colleges.  CB doesn't really have anything of note - just Iowa Western, which is a community college. I'd think this guy probably went to UNO, or even more likely - Creighton. I don't follow sports stuff as strongly as others do around here, but I feel like Creighton boys end up in the news quite a bit for their untoward behavior. 

 

ETA - Both those colleges would be Douglas county, NE.

I suspect they went to a rehab facility that's really heavy on Jesus. In that case, I can well imagine them having rules that no significant others can visit without being married.

Christina, it was in Douglas county, Nebraska. I've looked up the records before since I have access through work. It's rather uninteresting. It's just Farrah's handwritten petition for a protective order and it's full of Farrah " language. " the article linked above sums it up pretty well. 

And yes, he was on the UNO soccer team.

I do remember Daniel.  He was kind of a lame young man with way too much 'woman' in abusive Farrah.  Strange how all these teen moms and their partners trash each other.  If they were smart they would button up since it's their Bread and Butter but...carry on.  lol

I found Daniel way out of Farrah's league. In other words, he could do much, much better than Farrah. He seemed way too nice for Farrah. Most guys would have thrown Farrah out of their car after the way she talked to his mother and family the way she did.

I wouldn't say Farrah is mother of the year but I don't think Sophia is in any danger or being abused or neglected (unfortunately that's our standard here). I think she does many things wrong as a parent (being overly materialistic, exposing her to the toxic relationship with her mom, etc) but overall I would personally class her as "ok." Certainly worlds better than Amber and Cate/Ty, and not having oops babies and binge drinking while pregnant like Maci.

Something is incredibly, disgustingly creepy with the Doc. The tweeting thing makes sense.

Debra has always seemed unhinged to me-- all the faux religiosity and crazy eyes since 16&P, and there were vague rumors that Farrah was molested and Debra did nothing about it, which could be 100% unfounded but which frankly wouldn't surprise me, and would explain a lot about their relationship. Either way, screaming more than once about your (not real) suicidal ideation in front of your granddaughter is pretty off the rails.

Farrah has behaved just like, if not worse, than Deb is currently behaving - the over-the-top dramatics, the fake tears, the yelling, Farrah never yelled about committing suicide on camera, but her hysterics were (still are?) just like Deb's. 

Unless I missed something, I never really got the feeling there was molestation going on by any family members or boyfriends of Deb's. Farrah mentioned physical abuse, but nothing else. Something could have been alluded, I just don't remember with all that has happened and been claimed over the years. I have always given Farrah the side-eye when it comes to her version of events. She hasn't always been forthright or honest. She has downright lied. Something she has in common with Maci. She was also arrested for DUI. I hope those drinking days are behind her. 

Gotta admit, no trap babies, no marriages, divorces, so that is a plus.

I think Farrah thinks that she is a good mom. On the outside looking in it appears that she doesn't have 1 clue, let alone 2. Sophia will be just like Farrah if not worse, she's already too grown!!

I think one of the worst things Farrah (and Debra ) does is the non stop arguing with her mom. I get that they are going to argue but they go over the top and it's usually not appropriate for a child's ears. I don't think a child should be sheltered 100% from arguments but these are just not child appropriate I think also that in trying to be matter of act and open, Farrah also exposes Sofia too troubling things. I still remember a year or two ago Farrah was working at a gentleman's club and she was wearing a very scanty outfit at home before she left. Sofia was teasing her about her butt showing.  Yes that is most inappropriate. (and wearing make up to school and arguing with teh school about that for a 7 year old).

I really feel bad for Sofa because she has definitely been involved in stuff that a child her age should not be matter of fact about.

I do think Farrah takes reasonable care of her and definitely is loving to her (at least when the camera is on).
