His reaction was priceless. He really did look like a woman in a wig but it was hysterical. The reaction was so instant. He didn’t think twice and reacted. I thought Sam would make about herself and be upset but I think she thought his reaction was funny, too.

I don't think so. I think he was genuinely horrified at first. I think it's a big change from his curly hair to straight hair. Some people really don't like change. He was covering it up with laughter, but I think Brett's right on the money with this. That being said, Tyler just needs time to get used to it. 

(Or I'm wrong and Tyler was playing it up for everyone).

JC's pissed because he doesn't like the look and keeps complaining about how much he hates it.

Thanks for the screencaps! I rushed to put BBAD on, but they were already putting braids in Tyler's hair. It's so much longer & blonder straightened. Reminds me of Brad Pitt around the Legends of the Fall, and Interview with the Vampire era.

Well I never saw anything from the band when Hillel Slovak was in it, so for all I know Flea could very well have had long hair as well.  I remember when Anthony cut his hair because my sister had/has a crush on him and she was pissed about him having shorter hair.
