Meanwhile, I'm already rolling my eyes at the idea that the way the show will handle making Rebecca Budig her sister, if they go there, is by, like, Liz having off-screen phone conversations with Jeff, No Name, Sarah, etc.  A story about shoving Rebecca Budig into the Webbers won't feature any Webbers besides Liz.

But fear not, she'll have Franco's SERIAL KILLER shoulder to cry on! #alltheeyerolls

I don't expect him to be Stephen Lars but I'm sort of surprised they haven't brought the character back before now as a way of giving Franco more connections since they seem so determine to keep Franco around.  If they brought him back now, it would just highlight how creepy it is that Liz is dating her brother's brother.*

I know!  Obviously, the show has been not-subtly driving towards this for a while, but part of me still held out hope they would come to their sense.  And I don't see how fans of this pairing can't see, whatever chemistry the performers have aside, that this pairing, Liz being with this dude, is just wicked gross.

I'm trying not to be too judgey about it because I have liked some pretty fucked up couples but it's hard because this is just beyond the pale. I truly don't understand how Liz fans can be into this. I actually find Franco a whole ton of gross but still a lot less gross than Sonny.  They have chemistry, I think and sure Franco is a crazed serial killer but not lately so I don't care. I am enjoying it now but if MStaff is inserted I will bail. And Carly was ready to marry Franco so she can shut the hell up.

I think the angle of "OMG, look how great Franco is with Jake!" while completely, totally ignoring the fact that Franco kidnapped Aiden with every intention that Liz never see him again is something I can't get passed.  Because in that case, he did something directly to Liz that, brain tumor or no, she should never forgive.

I hate, and I mean hate Carly, but I also called shenanigans with FV (now I think it was him more than RC) that he would pair Carly up with a guy that terrorized her reason for breathing and had her son raped. I don't think he and BH's Liz chem is all that great and certainly not enough to warrant putting them together in the continued attempt to make Franco happen. Liz needs to rehabbed, and this will set her back even further.

Carly being in love with Franco was undoubtedly OOC but she was.  I don't think Liz needs to be rehabbed, she lied to Jake about something he said he didn't even care about or want to know. Yes, it was a bad thing but not really all that much of a deal to me.

 Liz is also covering up an attempted murder and even if Jakeson didn't care about who he was, he does now, not to mention Sam, Monica and his other son Daniel, who she also kept in the dark. And just because Jakeson didn't care enough to find out more about his history, doesn't absolve Liz one bit of purposely hiding his identity so she could play house.

As a Todd/Blair fan, this offends me.  Todd was a convicted gang rapist/kidnapper who had been held hostage himself and was looked at and treated worse than trash.  Blair was a reformed gold digger in love with the unobtainable super good guy, Cord.  Everyone in town thought they were garbage people and they had no friends.  That's why it worked.  Oh and OLTL had actual writers.  Not faux feminists with rape fetishes.

I don't think Todd and Blair deserve this comparison. They were waaay better and their story happened organically. Like @Chairperson Meow wrote, they were both treated like garbage by everyone in town. No one was coddle B/T and telling them everything is totes fine. Also, Todd was not obsess with the father of Blair's second child and kidnapped the third child to get to that said father's attention.

I completely agree. Todd & Blair's story was well written & played out over a period of years. IIRC, they also addressed how Todd had been abused & bullied as a child & he continued that bully behavior in his teen years. They both admitted to their own demons and worked (admittedly some times harder than other times) to redeem themselves or at least be able to accept themselves. I was impressed by the writing early on and for the most part through the entire run of their relationship- of course there definitely were times that I hated some of the writing too. KDP & RH were gold together IMO. Still miss that show. Thanks, ABC.

I still see some bit of the vulnerable Todd ,probably because I want to, but then it's no doubt easier for me cause I was totally tuned out of GH during the time James Franco was on. Why in the hell did FV waste RHo on such a shitty skeevy worthless character & then make all these attempts to try to redeem him? What a waste...GH is filled with a rich history & so many possibilities and he picks Franco?? The stupid...it hurts ...& hurts the show.
