I attend a weekly bible study, and even I roll my eyes at some of the things people in our group ask us to pray for.... then I pray for myself for being so bitchy and eyerolly. ?

Ha. I hadn't realized it was from Miss Congeniality (autocorrect wanted to make that "Congenial itty-bitty" ?).  It was clear that she was not being serious. Sorry if I didn't make it clear that I knew that. I was just saying that, after making a joke about a dumb interview answer, it would have been awful if she really then had bombed her interview.

There are plenty of wildly accomplished women in the workplace, who don't feel their appearance is of influence in their path to success and would be downright insulted at the notion that they got where they are because of their tight ass or pert pout. Things like intelligence, not sniveling and bitching, and not engaging in petty histrionics at work go a long way. Attitude, baby, attitude. 

When I am on the road I tune in to the mostly outrageous Dr. Laura.  A couple of months ago some guy called in and seemed genuinely perplexed that his beautiful, upper class girl friend could not grasp the concept of a budget and money spending limits.  Dr. Laura told him he would forever have problems with someone beautiful who felt she was a princess and he should dump her and marry an ugly girl.  And then she played the song.

I love when someone calls and says "I live with my boyfriend", or "I'm divorced and live in California, my kids live in Ohio, and I'm dating..."  Have they never heard her?  Do they not know they're going to get chewed out right off the bat???

HA!! That's AWESOME! Chelsea (we ARE in the "unpopular opinions thread" lol), said "they don't want those girls on this squad" regarding dumb girls. The DCC org does take into account many other factors that have nothing to do with looks. After they see if you have the look, of course. It IS part of the job.

Happens all the time when some women see another attractive woman who is successful, to toss scorn her way. It's so basic. The irony is, women who are perceived as less than the ideal beauty can often behave like entitled, whiny princesses who are perennially unhappy and constantly thirsty for appreciation. It's not about looks, it's about your attitude.

The Scholz sisters wrote that these girls are already the best of the best. They all have titles, they've all been elevated within their circles before they even get to DCC land, so, while of course there is competition, the scorn and jealousy from basic bitches is not as rampant as it is in open society. Unless of course, we're talking about Holly. Next to her, everyone is basic. Because she's a goddess. LMAO!!

Definitely!  It's not everyone but I don't think it's inaccurate to say that being beautiful does open a door for you ... I remember being part of many conversations where the team picking the candidates who we would interview always ended up picking the really photogenic ones.  It's not the only impression, just the first one and that can certainly open doors.  Does it mean that DCC will be so much more successful than non-DCCs?  No.  Does it mean that they will learn skillsets and move in the right circles that will give them access to many opportunities?  Yes. 

I'm smart as heck but I've been told many times by very successful women executives that "unfortunately perception is reality" and that's why it's important to "look" a certain part.

That actually was not what I was trying to say... I was merely trying to say that it opens doors.  fullstop.  I don't know if lack of beauty closes doors as I do not lack beauty :)

I suspect the reports about Holly's  top have been a bit sensationalized. I can buy that the clip behind her neck broke or came loose. But I doubt her top came off or fell completely down as some have said. In photos it looks pretty snug around her torso. I bet she covered herself before anyone saw much of anything.

It was full frontal torso nudity. Cameras rolling, hundreds of eyes. But I mean really, we all have the same equipment (albeit some firmer than others). I personally don't think it's a big deal. They're boobs. Meh.

Ok,not sure where to post this but what the HECK is going on with the current DCCs flooding their social media lately with ads?!  Maybe it's just the ones i follow but holy crap...it used to be like one for saffron jewelry or Rodan & Fields every couple of months...now it's supplements, sunglasses, even mattresses??  i swear, if they start shilling sugar bear hair gummies next i'm going to scream. this is DCC!! be better than the bachelor nation rejects! lol

I've noticed the same thing. In between vacay  pics bc some of the girls have really taken some trips in the past week or so, it's just one ad after another.

Yes the ads are definitely becoming more frequent. The latest I saw were sunglasses and mattresses. Ads and commercials are lost on me but hey, have at it. I wonder if they are introduced to these sponsors by the organization and encouraged to pursue these opportunities or are free to set them up on their own.

I'd care less if they were better about spacing them out.  Holly had like four different ones in a row on her IG stories earlier this week.  

But i agree, if they can make some extra $$ why not strike while iron is hot i guess. 

Saw Erica posted her solo on IG and mentioned that Neecie was choreographer! I wonder if she's been helping her for years then or just this time?  also wonder if she helped Cersten since she was LSU tiger girl too...SOOO want to see Cersten's whole solo!!
