I don't know that I like the parallels that promo is drawing between Gabi and Stefan.  Let's not forget that Gabi is receiving that beating because of Stefan O., becahse he helped frame her for murder.

Chloe is shocked when she encounters someone unexpected in Mexico. Could it be Theresa Donovan who has been gone for quite some time, which could likely spell drama when Jen Lilley returns.

Oh, so now Ron has finally decided to actually write Brady's alcoholism into the story properly? Because he's been drinking for over 6 months and yet the show has been wishy-washy about the whole damn thing. I can't even remember how many characters actually know he's been drinking, and how many he's been actively hiding it from. Hell, Eve has had an entire relationship with Brady these last few months and I'm completely confused as to whether or not she knows he's an alcoholic or that he's been drinking the entire time.

They SHOULD be writing about it...especially since he's a heart transplant patient. Not only is he an alcoholic buy that shit fucks with the meds he should still be on inside of 2 years post surgery.

I'm so happy Theresa is back! However, I will say that I'm worried it's a short arc to clear up the mistaken belief that she abandoned Tate and Brady to simply party and to then bow out gracefully setting up Eve and Brady as a legit pairing. Blech. Hope I'm wrong.

I might be inclined to feel a little bit bad for him if he shows genuine regret and remorse for doing what he did to her.

I just fear this means she'll be treated about as well as Melanie was. In spite of their "great love" she was pushed out and forgotten about so Brady could be with a full-time character. Rightfully so - she's annoying and Tan's spawn - but I could see them repeating the pattern now by having Theresa come back and get brushed aside in favor of Breve, simply because Kassie is full-time and Jen isn't.

I read on Twitter that, while Viv does get killed, we see someone injecting her with whatever that drug was that EJ and Will got.  So I guess Will's investigation into the anti-death drug will pick up steam at some point.

Louise was very upset about this. She actually spoiled this a few months ago, by saying that she did not like how her story ended. She never went into specifics, but, she denounced her storyline.

So vets like LS, TP and SN are all openly frustrated with how the show treats them. Perhaps Corday should take notice and listen. This show only has fans because of the vets.

I love how the spoilers just say outright that Xander brings Theresa back. So much for mystery! I hoped Shane would be a part of her return storyline since he sort of talked her into taking on Matao, but maybe this will be good too.

If they were smart, they would have done a location shoot with Xander lounging on the beach when we first see him. Give the people what they want! This show really doesn't go for the eye candy anymore. Can't think of the last time I saw a woman in a bikini either. What happened to all the skin?

It seems like weird timing to me to have Vivian only starting to mess with the Kiriakis family when she gets bumped off. She's at Stage 1 of a plan. Why not at least get her to Stage 5? Things haven't even started getting interesting yet. And I don't like the idea of Kate being a potential murderer. It seems like every month on this show one of the main characters is accused of murder. Can we keep the blood off some of these people's hands please?

Having Vivian around longer would have also been a great opportunity to reintroduce Philip. I really hope we get to see him interact with Victor again before John Aniston retires.

I don't know. I think taking a life under any circumstances would be traumatic and I could see the fragmenting happening regardless of the killing being self defense or not.

They had a scene about 2 weeks ago where Victor and Maggie were discussing Theresa and Victor almost told her the real reason why she left but stopped himself. Then they had a scene with Victor on the phone alluding to him getting someone to help with Theresa's situation. I had assumed that Victor was calling Shane, but looks like it was Xander. Interesting.

A thousand yeses to topless Xander. Is he here for a short stint, recurring or on contract? Inquiring and lustful minds want to know. 

The show is stupid to get rid of Vivian. She is the best villain they have on screen - fun, intriguing and a great foil for Kate, Victor, Chad, well everyone. Now all we are left with is bewigged Stefan and they don't seem sure what the hell they want to do with him. 

Don't know how I feel about a Kristen re-cast. Firstly, Eileen in that role is iconic. Secondly, I've become a bit burn out on the character because the short stints have done a disservice to the role and the show - baby switch and its culmination was one of the worst Days storyline primarily because Eileen couldn't be present. 

 I had to look up Stacy Haiduck

I've seen her in a few things and I think she has that certain something to be a good villainess so if they have to recast I am tentatively optimist because of the casting.
