And the matching unfortunate nose rings...when their noses are absolutely the last things they should be emphasizing. I guess there's a certain obtuseness in that.

I've tried, but I can't seem to bring myself to dislike her. 

Obviously she was in over her head as a designer, which lead to the cheating. Which obviously isn't ok, but given how pathetic the measurements she took are (a tank top and a crotch?) I don't think she's some sort of evil cheating monster.

I think it's impressive that she somehow managed to get both herself AND the technically-deficient Shawn through that many challenges. A lot of viewers argue it's unfair because two people collaborated on their looks, but the counter-argument is that Claire had to make two looks every week. 

When the over-enunciated millennial-AF front slipped away, Claire came across pretty normal and likeable. There's a scene after her second Bottom 2 appearance where it's clear she not only has a head cold, but is becoming frustrated that helping Shawn is having a negative impact on her performance. It's a very human moment of having to balance loving her sister with her own success. I didn't love how she acted backstage, but the TH she gave after being disqualified didn't seem affected, and seemed honestly regretful. 

I dunno. I agree that both twins have bought into their own press and lack some self awareness, but I wouldn't mind seeing Claire back on an Allstars season to see what she can do without her sister as an anchor.

Maybe she's not evil or a monster, but she was definitely cheating. I don't care what she was measuring. The fact that she KNEW she was breaking the rules (and she obviously knew if she was doing this in the bathroom) means she's an entitled asshole who thinks she can do whatever she wants.

I just read the article linked above. To me, she's just glossing over what happened. "I just happened to have a tape measure in my pocket..." She knew what she was doing and thought it was OK as long as she didn't get caught.

Right? She's now trying to claim that she never measured anything except in the moment she was very specific about using the tape measure and what she measured in the moment. She's lying to try to make herself look better. People tend to be more honest in the moment.

Yeah . . . I can't TELL you how many times I accidentally found a tape measure in my pocket after I've signed a contract that says I'm not allowed to have one outside of the work environment.

I just HATE it when that happens.

Even if she did just happen to find a tape measure in her pocket, anyone who knows it's against the rules would immediately give it to a producer with an explanation.

Margarita and Michael's Spanish conversation in a previous episode was about Margarita observing Claire working in the bathroom after hours.  "She hides it well" was one of the translations shown, and she mentioned the bathroom.  Roommates share a bedroom on PR, as we see the multiple beds, so the bathroom would be the only truly private place.

The issue, IMO, is not about how much or what kind of work she did, but that she was working off hours.  These challenges have very specific and limited time components, and it's just not fair at all to work when others can't.

How do you do something that you know is against the rules and THEN tell someone you did it!?!?  Go into the bathroom and keep that shit secret!  What an idiot... I had some high hopes for her after her sister left. Although I really think Claire had the technical gift and her sister was more creative but just couldn't execute without help. All of Claire's outfits were pretty awful in terms of creativity.  except the one she would have won if she wasn't an idiot.
