Tiny nit but I've never seen IA portrayed like this before I believe IAB officers were brought in because the victim was currently going to trial against the LAPD and accusing LAPD officers of several civil offenses in the Black Guardian case. So it was clear from the start that police officers were going to be suspects and need to be investigated. That's what IAB does. So the two that had already investigaed the officers for Black Guardian were included on the task force. But Bosch was still in charge since it wasn't an IAB investigation but a homicide case that had police officers as possible suspects. 2 Link to comment
