ElectricBoogaloo January 18, 2017 Share January 18, 2017 (edited) Quote On the eve of Chinese New Year, Jessica pushes the entire family to settle all debts, disputes and grudges to ensure good fortune for the coming year. Unsure if she can contain her temper for the remainder of the day, Jessica enlists Emery to makes sure she keeps her cool. Meanwhile, Louis and Evan go on a wild goose chase to hunt down some hate mail, and Eddie is forced to entertain his super lame cousin. Edited January 19, 2017 by ElectricBoogaloo Link to comment
angora January 18, 2017 Share January 18, 2017 Actually, this airs TONIGHT (01.18) at 8 p.m. eastern, not next week. Link to comment
Artsda January 19, 2017 Share January 19, 2017 That was a good episode for the holiday and liked the ending with the website. Was build a bear popular during the current timeline? That dry cleaner should be arrested! 2 Link to comment

I had the correct airdate (tonight) when I originally posted the thread but I think one of the mods changed the date, probably because it seemed weird that ABC aired this one on a Wednesday instead of their usual Tuesday. I'll fix it! Link to comment
paulvdb January 19, 2017 Share January 19, 2017 I thought it was funny that the dry-cleaner had the same photo of Gregory Hines on his wall as the barber who used to cut his hair. 8 Link to comment

That happened to me and some friends at a restaurant in the Keys in the 90s; I don't know if it was something common back then, but that really made me mad to see it again. Poor Evan; that hair was awful! 3 Link to comment

I didn't notice that! I almost didn't watch this because I thought it was a rerun, but then I figured if my DVR was recording it, it must be new. Was the guy who played Simon a real rapper? I haven't googled him. Loved Evan and his different hair styles, and then Louis with his "Clooney." I had to google George Clooney because I didn't think he was a big name back them. I forgot about ER, which I didn't watch. I also loved Louis doing his socks song. 1 Link to comment

Nope, didn't even exist until 1997 (according to Wikipedia) and that location was in St Louis (although it's possible that it expanded quickly to Orlando but I can't find that info). I believe the show is now supposed to be set in 1997 (1995 for season 1, 1996 for season 2). 1 Link to comment

I second! I want to see how Jessica preps for y2k! 1 Link to comment
Seelouis January 23, 2017 Share January 23, 2017 I don't know why, but I couldn't stop giggling about Louis singing "organize my dress socks" to the tune of "Hit me with your Best Shot." 7 Link to comment
fishcakes January 24, 2017 Share January 24, 2017 Clooney is making a weird face in this picture, but this was the best example I could find of the haircut that Louis was going for. At the time, people talked about his Caesar cut almost as much as people talked about Jennifer Aniston's Rachel cut, but the general consensus was that he was one of the very few people who could carry it off and almost anyone else would look more like Moe. Looking at old photos of Clooney now, I'm not sure how even he got away with it. 3 Link to comment
ItCouldBeWorse January 26, 2017 Share January 26, 2017 Evan doesn't have his own room, so why did he look upset when Simon rapped about taking it? Link to comment
theatremouse January 27, 2017 Share January 27, 2017 Because he's little and assumed it meant he'd have no room at all rather than sharing with a different person than he currently shares with? Or possibly not exactly that but he still didn't like the notion of being displaced/having his stuff usurped etc something similar. Link to comment

So it did expand pretty quick to 'touristy' places, but if this episode is Jan 97, still pushing it a little. It was insane then. I remember we had to get in line like an hour before the store even opened, otherwise you were looking at more like a 2-3 hour wait. 1 Link to comment
Camera One February 14, 2017 Share February 14, 2017 This was the best episode in a while. I wanted to see Jessica attack the dry cleaner onscreen. She could have helped that other lady who was ripped off. 2 Link to comment
