Interesting article but I find it a bit of a stretch. I don't see the comparison between Scary Island and Miami. As much as I don't like Beth now, for me Kelly being bonkers had nothing to do with anything Beth did on Scary Island. Yeah, Beth did scream, "Go to sleep" and that was not the best thing to say but Kelly was off the wall crazy that trip. She was not IMO systematically bullied but rather made a number of purposeful statements that caused the other women to defend themselves. The whole you are a cook, not a chef is one of the more memorable ones. Or the I don't eat processed food but I eat gummy bears. Her declaration to Alex about her eyes. Beth trying to kill her. Or the comment about Beth's goody bag. Her reaction to the women asking her to walk away if she wanted to talk to her daughters on the phone. I could go on. Nope. Kelly was off the wall. Miami and Lu was just cruel. Yeah, Lu went a bit overboard about her happiness being engaged. No different from many people. Beth's agenda was so uncalled for and painful to watch...no matter how one may feel about Lu. The Beth interrogation about Lu's relationship with Tom followed by the telling/showing the pictures to Carole and Ro and then Ro telling Yo. The snarky comments from the three of them at dinner. I have a neighbor that is every bit as thin as Jules and hers is due to cancer. She's alive and that is all that is important. It is more about commenting on being uncomfortable when there is very little to the naked eye to distinguish the difference in these women's frames. We don't know if Jules ED on any given day is "under control", I thought she looked fab last time she was on WWHL. We have no idea if some of these famously thin women have eating disorders or not, unless they care to share it with us. 9 Link to comment

Jules doesn't really seem to have a lot of muscle mass/tone/definition, which is also part of the issue. I don't think any of them (Jules, Bethenny, SJP) are at a normal, healthy weight, but when there's the lack of muscle, it is more unhealthy, since the body will start to break down muscle tissue for fuel if not given enough through food. 2 Link to comment

Bold mine. It sometimes happens that the esp. skinny-conscious will compensate for their skinny appearances with, at times excessive, gym-work. It can look stringy but adds volume and takes lots, some might say excessive, workout time. I think SJP looks skinny and stringy. And older than her years. 3 Link to comment

But, I'm just saying that I think that the muscle definition is what makes them at least appear healthier. I think it would be hard to maintain the muscle if they weren't eating at all (or very, very little). Having seen how much Jules struggled to force that one bite of pizza in, I kind of think she's not really putting that many calories in her body, so wouldn't be able to do any compensatory gym work. 3 Link to comment

Even giving Bethenny the benefit of the doubt that she wouldn't purposefully take the photo, the two of them could've been caught in the background of someone else's photo. An "oh shit!" moment. Tamara Tattles recap is up and she says that she received an email during the season that Bethenny had pictures of a "cast member" doing coke but that Bravo would not let her air them. TT did not use the info because she did not know if it was true - she mentioned it in the recap because of the drug allegations made during the reunion.
