I hope Thomas and Kathryn can eventually reunite and raise their kids together. Why are they not a couple now? What happened?

I'm not even ready to talk about Shep and his date jumping in the pool. The date looked like she stripped to her bra and panties. I can't believe that didn't give Patricia the vapors.

With Patricia, it's all about social status. Shep can do anything he likes and still get a free pass from her because his family is old and rich. If it had been Craig who stripped down to his underwear and jumped in the pool, she and Whitney would be clutching their pearls about it for weeks.

I'll admit that I'm saddened that Patricia and Cooper are no longer close---I think they were far more entertaining together than this lifeless new coupling with Kathryn and her fake Birkin(and even a really good faux Birkin can cost upwards of $350-$3000). Of course, maybe this is indeed producer-driven and he was told to get closer to Kathryn for filming purposes, much like Jennifer. It is interesting that he seemed less than thrilled with Jennifer's constant presence in Kathryn's life too, go figure...maybe he doesn't want to compete for his filmed scenes with Kathryn?

I'm still wondering if Cameron is genuinely unwilling to hang out with Kathryn or if she was told by producers to ice Kathryn out as well...in all fairness, she and Kathryn were never all that close to begin with, and they never seemed to spend time with each other outside of the show, even before and after her marriage. Plus, maybe she was indeed taking cues from Patricia and not willing to risk that relationship---she does seem quite close to Patricia both on and offscreen, so she probably didn't want to have Patricia ice her out the way she iced out Cooper after he began hanging with Kathryn.

Landon is quite the uppity snob we always suspected her to be, isn't she? Such the stealth bitch!! She honestly seems threatened by other girls who don't "fit" into her own self-absorbed social hierarchy. If she didn't want to invite Kathryn, she should've just been honest with Shep and stood her ground---otherwise, honor the guest of honor and respect his guest list wishes.

However, I do understand her aversion to Kathryn; Kathryn has been a catty bitch towards her since last season. If she really does ignore her in public as well, I can't say that I blame Landon for avoiding her when possible---and yes, for once she *did* make a statement that I agree with when she mentions how Kathryn is the black cloud that sucks all the positivity out of every room. I get that vibe from Kathryn every time she skulks into a party with that constant pout she wears.

On the flipside I can't wait to see Landon's ridiculous girlish magazine dreams get dashed next week!!

I can't help but like Shep...he may be goofy and seem vapid in all his frattish male slut glory, but I think he's a nice guy at the end of the day. That was decent of him to at least smooth things over with Kathryn, even if it was producer-driven. And I'm with him on the birthday party thing---that stupid-looking party wasn't for him at all, but just another pathetic half-assed Landon whim. I forget how tiny a town Charleston really is and that it's highly likely that they indeed don't have a nearby skate place/billiards joint that offers booze.

Whitney appears to have stepped out of the main fray so far this season and has been content to be a bit-player in the onscreen stories, mainly just hamming it up with his mom and making his usual random comments on the sidelines. It'll be nice to see his bitchy self get back to the main stage and squick everyone out again. I do find his comments and talking-heads oddly amusing. I'm baffled by his current living situation though; he's apparently just renting out another random place downtown. RIP, "Stabbin Cabin" with the Home Depot furniture!!

Kathryn's new cottage is very cute, actually. Glad she's content there, even though she was already nit-picking about how it wasn't big enough compared to Thomas's house((as he whined that HE needed a bigger house, oh both of you can just shut up already!)).

Not much Thomas, but I was okay with it; so long as he brings the real estate porn, I'm okay with more brief onscreen appearances out of him.

Oh Craig...much as I like JD, I think he's going to break Craig's heart and put him back down into his self-imposed lowly place next week. Craig's just everybody's favorite punching bag.

Okay, one more time I actually agreed with Landon: Bailey's painting of Shep was truly awful. But I'm sure it would fit in just fine hanging on the wall of Shep's divebar.

Thank you for your thoughts on the green bracelets. I have been thinking way too much about this (it really isn't worth my time) and came to the same conclusion that the editors were splicing events. But the friend-of a patient wouldn't be given a bracelet too, would she?  And no one else at the polo match had a wristband (even the nanny who was parked close to the field). So they must have stopped at a chuck-e-cheese or someplace on the way up. I really wish Andy would get this clarified so I can get some sleep. Haha

Never mind - just saw the camera guy photo; mystery solved I guess!

I would have thought the same as you except that in one ED when I was with someone they put a bracelet on me to be in there.  So I didn't think it was unbelievable.

It was a mystery though.  I'm glad someone (sorry, I forget who posted the camera guy) solved it.

I'm hoping that Shep is just acting out the storyline of overgrown frat boy afraid to commit.  But I'm looking at him thinking he's not that attractive with those big funky teeth and I don't see anything remotely interesting about him either.  The girl he jumped into the pool with looked like a pedo's dream.

On Kathyrn and Thomas, they are both assholes.  Kathyrn is looking for a rich baby daddy and is doing whatever she can to get that coveted Charleston address.  Thomas wants a baby nomma to control and still have his fun.  There's nothing redeeming about either one of them.

Landon's voice drives me up the fucking wall.  But I understand her rolling of eyes about Kathryn.

It was meeeee. You don't know how many pictures of polo matches I browsed... I was SO EXCITED when I saw the picture of the camera men. They really marked the cast and crew.

I got the impression that the young lady frollicking in the pool was, ahem, paid to appear.

How Cameran's physician hubbie, known to really want children, can choose to stay with a woman who was not up front with him about her core aversion to having a baby (she admitted this last season), is beyond me.  Having said this, I am happy she has stuck to her guns.  Way too many have unwanted children and disaster often follows.

That whole party was purely for appearance.  Where were Patricia's non-show peers and acquaintances?  She certainly has many.

It's interesting that Patricia seems more desperate for camera time than her son. And that she's rude and tacky sometimes on camera. Not very "old Charleston" of her. Now she wants to write a book on entertaining. Vanity, boredom, or have she and Whitney run through all the money? I would love to know what Charleston society thinks of her at this point.

I´m pretty disgusted with most of the female cast after this episode. And J.D, the way he´s always baby´ing Thomas is disturbing, to say the least. And he was a driving force in Thomas´ campaign that was a horrible idea (to say the least) from start to finish, so something about him is not right... Kathryn may be crazy but it doesn´t excuse the others talking about her pregnancy like that, they are vile, especially Landon - pretty on the outside, rotten on the inside. Her talking head after the care ride with Craig is by far the creepiest thing I´ve seen on this show, and there has been enough of creepy for it to truly be awful. I almost don´t care how nasty or dumb people on reality television are, however, I have a certain limit when it comes to cruelty and viciousness, and I can´t take the way they´re treating a young pregnant woman in a difficult situation (she may be lying, she might not be, it´s not a chance any decent person would take). Thomas is doing his best, can´t fault him and I thought he did good standing up to various people who don´t care that his unborn baby might in trouble. Jennifer is dramatic enough to be a perfect friend for Kathryn. And Craig continues to be wonderful.

Is Landon pretty? I  don't see it.  Small eyes.  Skin doesn't look that great to me.  And of course, that voice is irritating.

Cameran might also just not be ready for such a big life change yet.  As a newlywed, I imagine she might want to enjoy life with her new husband for a while before deciding she is ready to be a parent.  Children are a full time responsibility, and nothing about your life is the same after.  If she likes how things are now, she might want to just enjoy that for a while before changing things up.

I honestly think she doesn't want kids, at all, but she knows she can't really admit that.

I wish Shep would shut her up about her constant "marriage" talk by asking her about when she wants to have kids. That would shut her up but quick.
