What a weird decision. Given that they've got 4 redheads now, and it's proven almost impossible for any of them to maintain their color through the season, what's the point of creating another redhead? This is starting to remind me of ANTM, where Tyra did ridiculous makeovers just because she could, and because the makeover episode always got good ratings. I never thought Kelli was one to manufacture drama solely for the show, but this looks like that to me. What's next? Three or four "ice blondes"?

I'd rather the ice blonde than the peed-on-snow blonde that some of the girls got on ANTM.  At least we know that there won't be any pixie cuts, modern mohawks or Mia Farrow short on the squad.  (Can you tell I love me some ANTM, especially the early cycles?)

Whitney looks pretty in the photo above - did they they changed her hair somewhat?  I like it better if so.  Not liking the red on Milan - I still think she looks like a girl among women compared to most of the others (maybe it's just that she's thin in the way some teenagers are).  The girl front left looks a lot like Erica to me.

I think Whitney is so pretty and Yuko too- exotic, but DCC glam! Isn't Whitney tall? Is that tall blonde (Lindsey?) still there? Would those be the two 50 yard line girls or are there vets that tall?  I feel like Lauren and Jacie were the recent tall standouts.

Amy is incredibly tiny!! I never knew how small she was. is she even 5 foot? I guess I never noticed how little she was until now. I have a friend who finally weighs over 100 at 40. She's 4'11. She may be like her.

the blonde looks amazing and so does Yuko. I think she's adorable. I can't think of anyone to cut. Let's keep them all! Haha.

My former student/friend's daughter Deanna is still in DCRB camp. I'm so proud of her.  Off topic, but I hope she makes it.

its hard to judge who should be cut when we have seen really nothing on social media regarding their  dancing. I've never done this before so it may always be that way. I just hope they don't cut 4-5 girls I like!

I wonder if/how language will factor into Yuko's chances. I think Kelli would love to have a girl from Japan. But Yuko's written English was not strong. (At least not that I saw on instagram before she went private.) Her spoken English might be much better. But it will be interesting to see, given the emphasis on the DCC being well spoken.

I wonder if Amy will end up being this season's "those boots eat up half her leg, she just doesn't fit DCC" girl, like Karen last year and Megan in S9. She does seem awfully small in that uniform.

I'm anxious to see how many are cut this week too and how many of those will be spread out over the first 2 or 3 eps of the show (aka out of order LOL). Since this is my first time being so involved in the process prior to the show I'm really interested to see that makeovers are done before any cuts are made and NO cuts are made early in TC like they are portrayed on the show. I suspect that's always been the case and I just didn't realize it before.

I don't think Amy looks any tinier that Jenna, but having never seen them side by side maybe I'm wrong. Also keep in mind the uniform is just a shell right now so it will presumably be smaller and fitted before she's done. The boots eating up her leg may be rough though....

I think someone said Yuko got a Barbie. That doesn't necessarily mean she can dance DCC style, but I would say she can probably dance.

Yoshiko Danjo didn't speak English that well but they seemed to love the novelty and kind of play up her "cute" language missteps. Could be the same with Yuko, but that was ten years ago so who knows.

Yuko was a favorite of many at auditions. The Vets especially took her under their wing to help give her a fair chance since English was and is a big barrier for her to overcome. Her solo was a lot of fun and she had a lot of power as well! I hope she makes it.

That's good. I didn't understand the choice of the other Japanese girl years ago. Yuko is very pretty and I hope she can dance DCC style. The other girl just didn't nail DCC style or the look to me.

I can really see what they mean about Amy having short legs but dammit she has proven how bad she wants it. She is as dedicated as they come and has gone through this process in the hot Texas summers enough times that its starting to feel like a game of Survivor. At the end of the day we all know that it is absolutely, unequivocally Amy's dream to be a DCC, I don't know that to be true(yet) of any of the other girls. She is adorable, has the look, and IMO she deserves a chance to wear those boots.

I apologize if this sounds like a rant, it's really not. I'm just hoping and praying it's Amy's time.

I don't really understand how Amy would be singled out as the only girl that we know 100% dreams of being a DCC. I'm sure plenty, if not all, of the other girls want to be a DCC and are determined to make that happen. I'm not Amy's biggest fan personally but I wouldn't say I'm rooting against her. Just hoping for minimal dramatics and "I want this more than anyone." That attitude just turns me off because they obviously all want it. There are girls in training camp this year who have tried out as many times or more times than she has. What about Whitney, Kelli Quinn, and Kelsey? (Also Jamie who didn't make camp, she's been trying out as far back as I can remember on the show.) They've all tried out 3+ times. Pretty sure they want it just as bad. Wanting doesn't always equal deserving though. I'm just waiting to see how they all look on the show to decide who I personally think deserves it.

In my opinion, if she does make the team she could end up being a one year wonder. I was rooting for her in Season Nine, but last year she totally turn me off with her put me on the team before showing her solo to Miss Kitty, I gave up a lot to be here, I put off my wedding plans for this, etc. etc. Her husband to be must be a very patient guy to put up with her I need to be a DCC so bad attitude. Yes, I know her talking scenes were probably edited for the drama factor, but the words came out of her mouth. I hope her dream comes true for her sake, but I hate to think how she will feel if she does not make it after finally making TC after five times of trying out.

All right well I was under the impression that Amy had tried out three times, not five. Regardless of that, the point is that the other girls want it just as bad as she does. In my opinion anyone who comes back at all is probably pretty determined.

I love Amy in general let me make that clear before I go on. The "I want this more than anyone" attitude is so irritating. Like I might want to be a millionaire really really bad, does that mean I deserve it? 

She might get away with the boots like McKenzie because she is tiny. But McKenzie was so willowy she pulled it off. Until she puts on the boots there's no way to call it. All the pictures I've seen the girls all look incredible in the uniform!

IMO Mackenzie pulled it off because although she was short, her proportions worked in her favor. And as someone else mentioned up thread, she was willowy. It will be interesting to see what they think of Amy in the full uniform with the boots.

I loved Megan's humbleness.  I think she is the one that said this is the body God gave me and there is nothing I can do about that (I could be wrong but I seem to remember that).  It seems that some rule needs to be in place on the required length of leg from floor to knee and from knee to butt or something.  Or just stop taking shorties at all and then Kelli won't have to tell them they don't look good in the uniform.

It wasn't that Mackenzie was willowy.  It was just that she had great legs, very slim and well shaped.  It was the slimness that made those boots look good.  As lovely as Vivian is, and like her or not I think most of us agree that she is very attractive, her legs weren't slim.  She had muscular legs that looked stumpy in the boots because the top hit her at the most muscular part of her calf.  They looked tight on her and that is truly not an attractive look.  It didn't have anything to do with height.

And because I know it will be mentioned, the boots couldn't be cut to a different length.  Having the boots all the same height gives a pleasing line for the eye.  Though it seems like a small thing, a different height - or four or five - would be visually jarring when they are in the kick line.

I liked Megan and I think she looked good. I would have much rather had her than orange Morgan or ditzy deer-in-the-headlights Breelan with the makeup you'd have to use a trowel to scrape off their faces. I get tired of Kelly and Judi determining that a girl can't dance without mistakes, isn't flexible, whathaveyou, and then say, "but she's so pretty." Megan was spunky and natural.She had a different haircut which I think was sleek and spunky and not the big mass of Texas hair.  I felt bad when they cut her because they admitted that she did not need to lose weight. I also liked that little Bring it On girl  and they didn't take her because they didn't think her face was pretty enough. But then they take in girls who make stupid, ignorant statements in interviews. A woman that isn't necessarily drop-dead gorgeous, but carries herself well, is a great dancer and can converse intelligently and with ease and poise to me is  better asset than just somebody with a pretty face, (schmathryn schmunn).

I wish they'd taken Ashley Paige, the former Kansas Chiefs dancer -- she was a very stiff dancer it's true, but so poised and professional -- she'd have been a great ambassador.

I will be rooting for Amy also.  More than one girl has said "this is much harder than I ever thought it would be."  And then when some make it just stay a year.  Seems like the hard part would really be over!

I absolutely agree!  Morgan and Breelan had to have something that wasn't shown in MTT.   The show gave the impression that both of them were destined to be high maintenance the entire year.  Neither of them had the "DCC" body or brain in my opinion.  And they proved that point true after all.  Ashley "could have" gotten the smoothness eventually I think.

She came off as a bit desperate to me too. However, I do think she would have been great off the field.

In the brief clips of audition solos this year, the whole crowd was really into Yuko's dance. I think she's beautiful, dances well, & radiates a certain something in her photos that seems joyful & charming. I'm rooting for her. As for Amy, I think her rather impressive (& natural) chest helps keep her from looking too thin. But her legs are short & kicks need to improve 98% to be able to be near/on the end of the kickline. Ever since they cut Mandy from season 3 for being too short & getting swallowed up on the field, I've wondered why they can't put lifts in the boots of shorter ladies, a la Tom Cruise style, to give their legs & overall appearance an inch or two.

She was featured on this morning episode rerun on CMT.  Kelly said she had a "thut" which meant there was no separation between the thigh and butt.  Then with Courtney she said there needed to be a certain length between the knee and thigh.

I don't think it's odd at all.. Maybe she is laying low for the sake of training camp. Plus this weekend was Father's Day so I'm sure she was with family and not too worried about spending Saturday night at the rustic in Dallas with TC candidates since she spends other every night with them at VR. We did see her in the picture with Sarah gourley and no cuts have been made. I wish I could've seen a picture of her in the fittings.

I never know if Ashley Paige was really poised or really fake. I don't want to believe she's fake I want to believe that it was just the choice of editing lol.

I always thought that for a short girl Mckenzie  was willowy. I mean willowy in terms of the way she moved - it was just so fluid. In comparison to Viv, who is short and very very jerky/hip hoppy/booty pop

I think she is fine.  I think they are all trying to keep lower profiles this summer.

There are a few tiny/short girls in camp, like Kelli and Tasha. I wonder how the boots will look on them.
