I was surprised that no one (including other MSNBC commentators like Maddow & O'Donnell) didn't bring up Trump responding to a question by Savannah Guthrie that he didn't answer by smirking and saying "You're cute" in a condescending way.  I would have stopped him dead in his tracks and called him on it.  He never would have said that to a man.  Or have we just reached the saturation point on Trump's sexist pig behavior that no one even bothers to bring it up anymore.  I thought for sure Mika would have said something with a KYV tie-in.

I liked today's show. It was fresh and varied and interesting. That final discussion literally made me sit up in my chair, and that hasn't happened for a long, long time.

I always crack the fuck up when they put Joe and Mika in a three-way split screen with Willie, because it's basically like watching a college kid on a Zoom call with his parents...

"Uh-huh...ok...mom and dad please don't fight...but also please don't make out, we're still live... baseball? OK yes i still like baseball, what are you trying to - uh-huh....yeah...big mac...fried chicken? that's nice...."

This is not even a complaint, bc it's kinda charming, but also fucking hilarious

To be fair to Joe, though, I actually liked his interview with Lynne Cheney. He really can be kind and affable and interesting when he actually remembers other humans exist...

Mika & Joe are still sitting next to each other when they are in Florida.

Joe's refusal to change his sweater is a result of his desire to help the environment by reducing the amount of energy used to wash & dry his clothes.

I do think some producers are terrified of Joe. A few years ago, Mika was allowed to have a 30 minute women's topics show with guests from 8:30 am- 9:00 am. Joe would frequently interrupt her segment from the  control room with suggestions on how to discuss women's issues & camera angles.

I admit I hold out for Steve Rattner's charts.  Steve waits patiently while Joe interrupts and harkens back to when he was in Congress.  The rest of the time is background noise if the set is even on past 7:30.

I have noticed that when they are in Florida, Mika will sometimes give papers to Joe and you see the papers go from Mika's camera to Joe's.

I honestly thought they were still in Maine right now bc they couldn't,  uhh , link the two angles back again, idk? In Florida they have kinda a nice set, muted, this red nice Morning Joe banner, the opportunity to sit at the same desk if they need to, like before Covid...I'm pretty sure they haven't been there for a looooong time tbh? they are still in the weird Maine set, where they're trapped in separate rooms, I think? Idfk. I  just LONG for normalcy and authenticity tbh

I work in a middle school and have been in numerous civics classes.  This year the discrepancy between what is being taught as correct government and what is going on is overwhelming.  Things like no one is above the law, checks and balances. Its all out the window. I'm thankful its virtual because my eye rolling and head shaking is constant. I hope that these kids don't think that what is going on  is the norm.

The Hydrosonic toothbrush schtick was very good.

If president Trump loses the election, it is hard to imagine any reason to watch most of the MSNBC line-up.

I watched Peacock during the Barrett hearings here at work because Chuck Todd was doing coverage on MSNBC.  But I'm gonna say most people aren't watching Peacock on a night this important. You can stream MSNBC live, or watch it or NBC on tv. Peacock is your last resort.

I think it is a good decision by MSNBC to keep Mika & Joe away from any other NBC or MSNBC personalities.

Joe could easily derail NBC coverage of the results with his long rants & botched Southern accent. Mika will get too emotional if Biden doesn't win in a landslide.

Will members of the Lincoln Project join the Democratic Party after the election ?

I would suspect that the remaining Republicans will be upset with the Lincoln Project members.

Claire Macaskill said that Biden has much higher favorability ratings than Hillary Clinton in 2016. This will be a key difference than 2016.

I think it is rude for Joe to show up in the same dirty clothes every day to host a cable tv show. Virtually every male guest & Willie wears a blazer or a suit with or without a tie. Joe looks like a slob. It's not as bad as when he showed up to the NY studio with cereal stained fleece tops for a year in 2012.

The cereal stained fleece era of Morning Joe can be in part explained by Joe going through a separation in 2012.

Mika was instrumental in getting Joe properly dressed for the show over the past few years. However, since the summer, Joe looks unkempt.

The RCP national average is giving Joe Biden about a 7-8% lead which is larger than Barack Obama had in 2008.

I suspect Joe wants to try & make the race exciting by calling it a barn burner if Biden is leading in Wisconsin by 8% but he sounds silly. Perhaps they are trying to encourage people to tune in for the show ?

I agree with you about the lack of coverage of the Joe Biden campaign.It's non existent. I am shocked that the show can't even get Biden surrogates like Mayor Pete on the show anymore.

Morning Joe seems to be losing out on getting the top campaign spokespeople to appear on the show.

Brian will be the host of the Election Night coverage on MSNBC. 

Relegating Joe & Mika to Peacock is pretty much a slap in the face.  I would love to find out if Brian or Rachel told TPTB "No Scarborough on our broadcast". 

Brian has made comments about Mika reading Joe's WaPo columns on air, by complimenting Eugene on his column and saying that Eugene is too humble to read his column on air, unlike "some people" but I would like to ask you what you meant...", and I'm sure Joe wouldn't go within 20 feet of a studio where his arch nemesis "R" is sitting.  

MSNBC probably already had enough people booked. I'm wondering what kind of shape Mika is going to be in at 9 pm. Shouldn't she be in bed by then? The sugar rush would have worn off and the Vodka and Ambien will be kicking in. 

The good news is, if they're in FL, the control room can cut their feed whenever they have to.

I think Mika wants to be the first to announce that KYV seminar spokewoman Senator Kamala Harris has been elected VP of the USA on election night.

Mika could try & persuade Peacock viewers that her KYV seminars can help women achieve their career goals.

It seems like Mika & Joe on election night will replace the Morning Joe morning after show at Rockefeller Center that they had in 2016. There was an audience in shock at the results, & Mika & Joe were crowing that they were right about the election . Jared & Ivanka would be the true power behind President Trump. Mika said that Ivanka would make sure her dad behaved as President.
