I have to disagree with y'all.  While I do think Mika thinks there is some electricity between the two, I honestly doubt he's ever once considered her a viably sexual human in any regard.  I think he looks at her as an annoying means to an end.

After this comes to a close, I could see him and Stephanie Ruehl taking over Joe and Mika's spot.  And Joe and Mika sitting in their grumpy morning bed with chickens everywhere, both watching The Stephanie and Avenatti Show, both lusting over the hosts, regretting their decisions.

I just looked up pics of Jim Hoffer (Mika's ex). Wow, he really does look like Avenatti.  She left him for Joe?   No wonder she's making googoo eyes at Avenatti.

On a less shallow note (although I do love me some Avenatti!), did anyone else pick up on the fact that that reporter, Carol whats-her-face, kept referring to UN Ambassador Nikki Haley solely by her first name, as in, "Nikki"? She even had to stop and correct herself at one point.

Methinks someone is a little too cozy with her source.

Wednesday recap. Morning Willie with Kasie!. This is an exciting day. Mika & Joe have the morning off. Eddie, Barnicle. Noah Rothman, & the Bush Historian in the Library:)

First topic is the passing of Baraabara Bush. She was a nice lady & as sarcastic. The Usa has had enough of the Bushes.

Everyone liked her because she was sassy.

It's the end of an era.

Next topic. Haley vs Kudlow. Haley said she is not confused about Russian sanctions.

Everyone like Nikki because she won't put up with the men speaking for her.

Kasie! made fun of the lack of a lightning bolt . Then she got zapped but she was a good sport.

Catty Eyes Katy came on the show to talk about Nikki. She looked scary. New makeup person.?

Everyone gets to talk on the panel. I will save his show on my DVR. Kasie should  be a permanent co host on Morning Joe. Mika can become a reality star with her chickens.

Willie is funny . He mocked the Stormy Daniels sketch of her ex boyfriend who threatened her.

Noah said Trump should not retweet Deplorable sketch.

Every one loves Michael Avenatti!. Joe must be furious & taking off his glasses and yelling at Mika

Jon Meacham is trying to find historical references to Stormy Daniels.

Bush Sr was more classy thatn Trump. he never tweeted about porn stars.

Willie & Kasie are a good couple.! It's an easy going show.

Barbara Bush was a strong, decent person.  But, let's not white wash things, shall we?  Her commencement speech at Wellesley is horrifying, not admirable.  "Stay in your lane, women," isn't terrific advice to young graduates about to hit the work force.  Would she tell young men graduating from Harvard to not go kill it on Wall Street, but instead stay home and appreciate being a husband and father instead of defending the US, starting a company, making your mark in the world? 

Zoiks.  Peggy Noonan is a GD chameleon, isn't she?  Her stylist this morning deserves a gigantic raise and an extra story about how erotic it can be sitting on Reagan's lap.

I can't think of a blander topic than Barbara Bush.   If aliens were trying to read my mind I would fill my head with images of Barbara Bush to make them recoil in sheer boredom.

Remember when Babs was asked about the potential deaths of US soldiers on the eve of the Iraq War?  

But why should we hear about body bags, and deaths, and how many, what day it’s gonna happen, and how many this or what do you suppose? Or, I mean, it’s, it’s not relevant. So, why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?

Also - any theories on why the lovebirds are MIA this today?  I have never seen show hosts who who don't show up for their own show more often than these two.  What the f*ck is up with that??

I know we aren't supposed to speak ill of the dead, but the tributes to Barbara Bush are a little nauseating, considering the awful things she said during her life, as noted above. 

"the love of my life", GHW Bush. Guess that doesn't include Jennifer Fitzgerald, his personal assistant whom he had an affair with for years, who was supposed to be a dead ringer for Barbara.

I'm glad Joe & Mika weren't there today so I didn't have to listen (which I wouldn't have anyway) to Joe blather on about what a great lady Barbara Bush was.  

What kills me is the panel and all media talks to former WH staff and they know the stories of how cruel she could be. She was a wealthy woman who did charity work to show what a great lady she was, but she would insult friends at social gatherings, commenting on how much they were eating, or that they were overweight, like she was one to talk, her staff was terrified of her, one said I guess she could be called a a good person but she sure wasn't a nice person.  There are stories about her as a teenager being the leader of the group she hung with, and she'd announce "We're not talking to her today", and they'd all freeze one girl out.

The 1940s version of Mean Girls.  

And no one mentions the 1984 campaign when she said of Geraldine Ferraro "We're wealthy, not like that four million dollar 'rhymes with rich'."  Lovely.

I don't think it would be a Bush-related absence. Even if they did holiday in the same spot in Maine, and Joe did meet Wife Nr. 2 through Jeb!, it doesn't make sense they'd need to be down in Texas the next day. They aren't family, they aren't helping with funeral arrangements.

I liked the Barbara Bush talk this morning. Like her or not, it was the sad reminder of the current occupants and everything low class about them. At least, IMO, Mrs. Bush was a respectable first lady.

Thursday Recap. Day 2 of Willie & Kasie!. Yes!. I love the new show. It's the same cronies on the panel. Josh Earnest is a KC Royals fan. Ha!. I just went to the baseball game yesterday & the Blue Jays crushed the evil Royals 15-5. The Royals beat the Jays in the ALCS playoffs in 2015.

Kasie! looks lovely in her black & white top. The makeup artisyt ruined Elise Jordan's mascara.

Elise & Richard Haas got into a spat over KimYoung Jun 's plane. He can't fly anywhere because the plane might crash. Haas said someone can lend him a plane to fly to Switzerland.

Barnicle is tired of Trump. Barnicle is worried about the Constitution. Willie said wait till the end of the movie.

It was a very good discussion today without the hosts interrupting the guests.

The panel is worried about the 8 GOP Senators running this fall.

Elise is becoming too one note.  She is always worried about the GOP.There are more Senate Democrats running for re election.

The Senate Democrat in Montana, Missouri & W Virginia are vulnerable.

Elise needs to take the advice of Coco Chanel via Katherine Parker in "Working Girl."  "Dress shabbily, they notice the dress. Dress impeccably, they notice the woman."  Nearly every side shot made noticeable the rolls on her back and fleshy upper arms.  (I'm sorry, I don't mean to be catty, but seems like if she wants her appearance to be noticed, it should be for more complimentary reasons.)

I was unaware of what a hateful woman Barbara Bush was.

Kasie's outfit is kind of a rookie mistake.  It added nothing to her, and it was too noticeable somehow.  The only thing I recall from the show is that she and Willie hosted and she wore a distracting top.  I also just don't like severe black and white.

I noticed it too. It's because the dress was too small. If getting the dress altered so it fits better isn't an option, wear dark colors on air so the back isn't that noticeable. Or get a bra that fits and doesn't cut into you. 

Unless you have Linda Hamilton arms from Terminator 2, if you sit with your arms pressed to your side like that, it's not a great look.
