peacheslatour October 16, 2016 Share October 16, 2016 When we came back from France, our cat yelled at us for fifteen minutes. He then, over the course of five days, caught five rats that got into the house while we were away. Like "look assholes, where would you be without me?'' 9 Link to comment
valleycliffe October 16, 2016 Share October 16, 2016 plt, it worked. the prevert good vibes came thru and i won over $300.00 sure is lonely in our house now. my daughter and her family moved out on friday.. house seems so big now, whereas last week it felt so small.. after having them live with us for the past 6 yrs was wonderful, but i think, it really was time for them to be in a place of their own..this way, our habits won't annoy them so much. and theirs won't annoy us anymore either. 8 Link to comment

Petunia13 October 17, 2016 Share October 17, 2016 Word on that lol! I can't imagine living w my mom and she can't w me. I moved out senior yr of hs and never spent a night under her roof (w her home) since. On that note today is her first day back working after about 7 months off. She was 'sick'. She has rapid cycling bipolar disorder and refuses medication. For about seven months she barely left her couch and watched the same shows everyday. Jim Bakker on repeat for 4 hrs, 700 club, Wendy Williams, The Real, Meet the Press. Sometimes y&r or something. I brought her lunch and groceries since she sits for me. 6 Link to comment
Anna Yolei October 17, 2016 Share October 17, 2016 Your guys are so lucky to have moms that don't want to live with you. That isn't to say my mom was terrible or anything like that, but the short version is being 5000 miles away from home for three years does a lot to shine light on things that aren't acceptable and just because she wasn't a drug addict or I grew up away from Oakland and the other particular dysfunctions of my extended family doesn't mean being at home is a good fit. My mom's ability for self reflection is lower than ButtBiscuit's, and I want no part of that or trying to raise my grown ass brother, either. 6 Link to comment
Cupid Stunt October 17, 2016 Share October 17, 2016 My mother stayed with us when my father had his hip replacement in LA this spring. She spent most of the time with Dad, but she was a God-send with home-made meals or handling random errands that never get accomplished. I've got a good relationship with my mother; she knew when to hang on and taught me what I needed to know when it was time to let go. She's and movinon have been walking me through letting go; my daughter will be going to Cambridge University next year, and everything in my primate brain screamed that she's leaving 4EVAH! Somehow 3 years of having her 400 miles away in San Francisco for school was nothing, but to read Math in England was the end of the known universe. Anna Yolei October 18, 2016 Share October 18, 2016 Speaking of dogs, as I type this, my dog is banging excessively on his water dish, wanting a refill. My chiweenie learned this neat little party trick all on his own. He does the same thing for the food dish and also for the baby Husky my roommate bought last . Lol :p I lucked up because to be mixed with two loud barking breeds, Sunny is pretty quiet. More importantly, he's not an ankle biter like most Chihuahuas and socializes well with every dog he's met. 8 Link to comment

Anna Yolei October 20, 2016 Share October 20, 2016 Indeed, the Obamas have been one of the classiest, loving couples to grace the White House in recent history. No scandals, no dirt and the worst I've heard of their daughter is that she smoked but didn't inhale a joint and twerked at a music festival. OH TEH NOES! I never understood why the Kennedys got the American royalty label attached to them. I mean, given the way religion shapes American politics, having a Catholic win was a big frigging deal, but besides that? I didn't get it. I understood it less once it became kosher to mention that he wasn't a saint. But if there's been one political family with royal grace, the Obamas have come the absolute closest. 9 Link to comment
valleycliffe October 20, 2016 Share October 20, 2016 WHAT? i thought it was the kardashians who were being touted as american royalty?
