Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore

Now, why is it that Christine can put together a LulaNo outfit that actually looks good while Meri usually looks like a hot mess?  I get that the whole concept of this scam clothing company is to mix and match random patterns, but I wonder if struggling consultants would do better taking one colorful piece and putting it together with neutrals, as Christine did.  Although maybe that's against the LuLaCode...as in, "the more ridiculous the pattern combo, the more likely we will invite you on our next LuLaCruise" or something like that.

I love cowboy boots!  LOVE THEM!  I do not like nor never have liked random patterns together that don't match.  This needs to stop.

And a dress is the last thing I would ever wear in cold weather (and I live in northern MI).  The cold air goes right up to your core!  Layer with good heavy pants or pants with something underneath to trap the warm air.  And layer with shirts and sweaters so you can take off a layer when you get warm or are inside.

Morons, the lot of them.

I am dressed better for the elements in Santa Barbara where we do not have snow.  But it is a chilly 65 (yes I am a weenie).

Having a kid get married is a powerful weight loss incentive! My mom was smaller at my wedding than she had been in many, many years. And she went right back up again afterwards, like a lot of people do. Christine slimmed down a lot for Mykscrewball's wedding and seems to have lost even more for Aspyn's.

Well I got my wish, a LuLaNo post from Christine modeling clothing. Unfortunately, not very snark worthy. I agree with you guys, she is no Meri. Good for Christine, but bad for snarkers. ;-)

Meri just has to over-accessorize things to the point of ridiculousness, and she insists on wearing the wrong size. She makes it soooo easy to snark on her outfits. Meri had so many layers on, even in Vegas, I wonder how many layers she'll need in Flagstaff? 6? 8?

She'll end up looking like the little brother in A Christmas Story...so bundled up in his winter clothes that he couldn't move his arms or legs.  Of course, the fact that she insists on wearing jackets that are several sizes too small, I'm betting she can't move her arms anyway.

LuLaNo has to be making these jackets in such a way that they cannot close, because there is no way that a slender girl like Gwen should NOT be able to close her jacket...the fit looks okay in the sleeves and shoulders, so it doesn't look like she's in the wrong size.

Maybe that's the look they're going for, or maybe they're saving money on fabric by making...I don't know what you'd call it...half a jacket?

@neh, just about hit submit and I see you are having the same thoughts!

Awwww...alright kiddo, you got to me with the puppy! :-)

I always thought that my Chihuahua mix looks like a yellow lab puppy, without the large paws though, and puppy roly-poly business...but it seems he looks like a TON like this Golden Retriever/Black lab mix, too. Pretty much exactly that same face and little ears! He is only about the size of that little pup, too.

Dang it, I've come to expect to be irritated by this bunch, not have the warm fuzzies over a puppy...

I guess "crazy lady in an ugly bathrobe" just screams Christmas to Christine!

hehe, all she needs is a dozen or so cats.  I call myself a crazy cat lady, but I only have one.  And I wouldn't wear a robe anywhere but my house or backyard.

Christine must be on the LLR diet plan.  Where did I read that the owner of LLR likes the consultants to be slender?

Dear Christine:  ditch the bathrobe.

And why would you post your “Merry Christmas” greeting from an empty Barnes and Noble parking lot?!?

You must know the area?

Picture #1 would've been better if King Kody didn't have to take his front and center spot as Master of the Fam'ly.  And his hair looks ridiculous.

#2....pretty much what I figured he'd be doing on a holiday.  Or, every day.

#3...Robyn's oldest really has some issues.

#4...now that's funny.

EDIT: LOL, great minds..............

One thing you can say about Christine, she takes her pleasures where she finds them.  That dusting of snow on her driveway and sidewalk is what northern folks refer to as a skiff of snow and could easily be handled with a stiff broom if even bothered with at all.

We'll wait and see if she is so chirpy and cheerful by winter's end.  Flagstaff has an annual average winter snowfall of over 103 inches, compared to Lehi which has 40 inches.  She ain't seen nothing yet.

When it gets that bad, I'm sure Kody will help her.

...Yeah, I couldn't even type that with a straight face...

Good grief, yes. I'm nearly 70 and hand shovel my snow in northern Michigan.  Don't even own a snow blower and I'd have just taken a broom to that little bit.  Hope she survives the winter!

And I think that’s based on measurements at the airport which is on the opposite and more southernly part of Flagstaff. Baderville (where at least some of the rentals are) gets much more.

Also waiting for comments about unexpected traffic in town. Holiday weekend + fresh snow = gridlock on the main road into town from their homes.

Speaking of the communal "husband", has anyone else noticed him keeping a lower profile these days?  Every now and then he shows up in a picture, but for the most part, the "wives" and children post pictures that don't include him.  Not even Robyn seems to mention him much on her social media.  On the television program the family seems to center around him and his "headship", but for at least a year, probably longer, Brown life as depicted on social media indicates the women are living lives without much interaction with him.  Not that I blame them if that's the case, but I thought the whole idea of polygamy was absolute dedication to He Who Rules Them All.

Commander Kody's opinion of himself versus the wives and kids' opinions seem to be miles apart.

That seems true and yet they pulled up roots yet again to follow him to Flagstaff.  Of course we have no idea if his "mandate" was real or just for the camera and there was some financial reason for them to skedaddle out of LV.

Kody as "The General" didn't seem to get much respect, in the Hawaii episode at least.  Commander Kody's opinion of himself versus the wives and kids' opinions seem to be miles apart.  Sorry (not sorry) that even Robyn is over him, from the looks of things.

The Hawaiian episode!  One of my all time favorites, starting with the looks on all their faces when the viewed the accommodations and realized that their "star power" didn't have the draw to warrant a resort similar to where the Real Housewives are filmed.

Then Logan defiantly partook of the pork, contrary to Kody's newly found religious dietary restrictions.

Then madcap Meri induced Janelle to join her in the merriment with the eyebrow caper.  It fell flat, but it was the one and only time I have seen any attempt at bonding between the two of them.  If this was inspired by Nancy suggesting they share experiences, I don't think Nancy intended that they should belittle Mariah for voicing an honest opinion.  King Kody was not amused.

Ooh, northern Michigan?  I am in SW Michigan.  My dream retirement is somewhere in northern Michigan.  I adore it up there.
