tv echo September 3, 2017 Share September 3, 2017 (edited) Sorry, guys. Apparently it's an old video clip (thanks, @apinknightmare) - I just didn't recall seeing it before and the youtube poster was posting it as if it was a new S6 spoiler. I was further fooled because EBR's hair looks like her hair in the Flash "Girls' Night Out" pic. Edited September 3, 2017 by tv echo 1 Link to comment

tv echo September 3, 2017 Share September 3, 2017 (edited) I have to say, this is an intriguing theory, because it would indeed tie into the family theme and also parallel the Quentin-Laurel doppelganger angst... A Totally Crazy Theory Of Who The Vigilante Is On Arrow Posted by Dan Wickline September 3, 2017https://www.bleedingcool.com/2017/09/03/a-totally-crazy-theory-of-who-the-vigilante-is-on-arrow/ Quote Yeah, my though [sic] is what if the Vigilante is Robert Queen from Earth-2? We saw in The Flash episode in season 2 that Oliver Queen died on the Queens Gambit and that Robert Queen returned home and became the protector of Starling City and like Oliver here, they started calling him the Vigilante. How much of a shock would it be if they pulled off that mask and we say Jamey Sheridan underneath? How much of a gut punch would that be to Oliver and Thea (Willa Holland)? * * * It would play very well into the theme of family as Oliver must face off against a carbon copy of his father who is doing the exact same thing he’s doing… and now Oliver see that through the eyes of a son as he tries to connect with his own son. Guest September 3, 2017 Share September 3, 2017 (edited) I've seen some spec that Vigilante is Dinah's boyfriend who "died" but IDK. Or, not so out-there theory, it's E2 Oliver. I know he's supposedly dead but this is Arrow so, haha. I also have no idea what EK meant by saying this season was like Gotham City. But they're still going with the Batman comparisons which makes me laugh. Edited September 3, 2017 by Guest Link to comment

Chaser September 3, 2017 Share September 3, 2017 That was my thought. My current guesses: Vigilante/Oliver - set up in S5 Cayden James/Felicity - set up in S5 Richard Dragon/John Diggle Black Siren/Black Canary - set up in S5 No clue about Rene and Curtis. Link to comment
Guest September 3, 2017 Share September 3, 2017 I'm guessing FBI agent for Oliver Queen. Richard Dragon is either for GA or for Diggle (started because he was dressed as GA, maybe?) Cayden James for Felicity. BS for Dinah. I can't think who the others might be. And by "everyone has a villain" do they mean Quentin and Thea, too? Rene? Curtis? Link to comment
bijoux September 3, 2017 Share September 3, 2017 Unless the FBI agent is crooked, would she really be labelled as villain? Even if she is going after Oliver, wouldn't she be his antagonist more accurately? I don't think Lance was labelled as villain for going after the Hood in season 1. Link to comment

statsgirl September 3, 2017 Share September 3, 2017 (edited) I think SA meant it in terms of antagonist because sometimes he is not too good with the words. Although we did have a villain who went after Oliver Queen rather than GA with Damian Darhk. I think Vigilante is for Rene because he didn't seem that important to the city or the team last season. So this is my list... Richard Dragon -- > Diggle first, then maybe GA or maybe GA gets another antagonist Cayden James -----> Felicity FBI agent ----------->Oliver Queen Black Siren ----------> Black Canary; maybe also Quentin Vigilatante -----------> Wild Dog Audience Reaction -----> Curtis ETA: Considering that everyone except EBR, PB and JH are at a con, I can't believe how few spoilers we're getting. statsgirl September 3, 2017 Share September 3, 2017 Good point. I'd forgotten about Anatoli. What makes Vigilante so special that he would be Oliver's antagonist? He seemed more like a thug to me than anything else, and he didn't know anything about the Green Arrow. Also he was easily beaten by Prometheus so that would make him second tier for me. I'm not sure since I think Star Dust was a B-Team takedown (Dinah and WD, maybe Curtis). It's something that's semi-big to cause a rift, but not big enough (like kidnapping Lyla and leaving Baby Sara alone) for him to be as mad with Oliver as he was in previous times, along with being consistent in something that separates him and Oliver's way of thinking concerning ends justifying the means. Plus it would at least give Oliver some narrative punishment for releasing Slade and at least show to me that the writers don't think that that is ultimately without consequences. 1 Link to comment

Popular Post Trisha September 3, 2017 Popular Post Share September 3, 2017 Guys, I had the BEST time at Fan Expo! SA and DR were both super nice. My only regret is that my coworker Jen and I split up (she's actually pictured in the tweet above) when I went to do the photo opp and she opted for autograph sessions instead. I love my pic, but it goes so very quickly and you don't really get a chance to talk to them or ask any questions, whereas she got to have actual conversations and get spoilers, so I wish I'd gone that route instead. Still, I made her tell me everything they covered verbatim so it's all good. Here's the highlights (there are some spoilers so I'm putting it in this thread. Let me know if I should move it?) Stephen Amell: -I though he looked a little rough at the panel but when you're face-to-face, his eyes are mesmerizing! -At the panel he reiterated that he didn't want to put in the hours that it would take to direct an episode, but he'd much rather support others who wanted to do that, like David Ramsey. -He talked a lot about how great it was to work with the kid who plays his son. I glazed over during most of it, but he mentioned that having a minor on set was awesome because when he's there, there's rules that prevent them from skipping lunch, going over, etc. -Both he and DR mentioned that there's going to be a Legion of Doom-like set of villains, and every character gets one. Oliver and the Green Arrow each get one. -I talked to a volunteer who was working his booth all weekend, who said he estimates SA did 1,200 autographs Saturday alone. At $60 a pop, I get why he goes to these things so often -That being said, he was signing for hours on both days and every time I walked by his booth, he was cheerful and joking and his energy never flagged. It must take a hell of a lot of stamina. Also, whenever anyone with a wheelchair came by he came around front and crouched down to their level. Jen saw him exchange phone numbers with a little girl in a wheelchair and promise to text her. We walked by as he was leaving his booth at the end of Sunday and he was giving all of the volunteers big hugs. The whole weekend definitely raised my esteem for him. -She asked him to sign my Sinceriously bag and when she told him this was my first Fan Expo, he asked the person next to him what the date was and said "We have to do this up right" -She was going to ask him about Olicity but listening to people in front of her, whenever anyone asked a specific spoiler he got really tight-lipped. So she went for something more general: -Here's how she says the convo went down. When he was signing my bag he asked if she was excited for the new season. She was like, "I am but I'd be even more excited if I knew that I was going to actually like Oliver again." He chuckled and she added "Cause last year was a bit rough." He stopped and looked at her and said "Yeah, last year was rough. I know what you're..." Then he kind of stopped himself and said, "I know, but I'm telling you, you're going to like him again. I guarantee it. I know the first five, no wait, six episodes and you're going to be happy." She thanked him and went to move on and he was like "I'm serious. I GUARANTEE it! Trust me." She says he was very emphatic about the whole thing. David Ramsey: -Dude really gives no fs about spoilers. When people came up to him and said they hoped his character survived the island, he kept joking "Diggle's fine....but I hope you don't like Felicity." Then he'd watch them freak out before reassuring them that she's alive too. He even reiterated it in the panel, saying "Felicity's fine" when talking about who survives. He says he gets phone calls all the time about how he spoils too much, but he doesn't seem to care. -He takes a lot of time with each person at his booth. A lot. He stood in front of his table the whole time and greeted most people with hugs. He also has a selfie option ($40 -- same as the autograph) which I wish I would have known before booking the photo opp. -When Jen walked up he was like "Oh my god, it's like I'm looking at another Felicity Smoak!" and the whole line awww'd. (We thought it was funny because she doesn't look anything like her, except maybe she's petite and was wearing a tank dress that flared out? It was weird but I think he was just trying to make everyone feel good.) -He took about 7 selfies with her to make sure she had one she liked, then asked her about herself. They chatted and she told him she really liked the Diggle/Lyla stuff that they got into near the end of S5, and he said they're really going to delve deeper into it, and that Lyla is back in episode 7. (Though she mentioned he seemed confused by ep numbers, so it might be 6). -At his panel, he got more into the Lyla/Argus stuff and how it's going to challenge his bromance with Oliver. He talked about tension between them and said "Argus, Argus, Argus. I can't say it enough. It's this universe's version of SHIELD." -He said that in the past he's always said that Diggle is 5 years ahead of Oliver -- he's married, he's processed his crucible and moved on from it, he's let go of the guilt. But now Oliver has caught up with him, so what does that mean for Diggle now? He said he talked to Marc at the beginning of the season and said "At this point, the Yoda character dies. That's what happens now in the journey." But Marc told him "Diggle will never die." DR said that if he's not dead, the only other thing you can do at this point to the Yoda-like character is to change him. So things (as in more than one) will happen that will fundamentally change him. He said he'll still be the same character at his core, but the things that happen will make killing his brother pale in comparison. "This is going to be a big year for Diggle." -He talked about posing as the Green Arrow in the first few episodes (he says he split the pants, and talked about coming up with a fighting style that was much more military-based and basic than Oliver's) and that he just had a fitting for an upgraded Spartan costume. He said the original helmet was made by Cisco at Star Labs, "but now that there's going to be a Smoak Enterprises, that Felicity and Curtis are working on stuff and maybe they'll take over the helmet." (There was some confusion on Twitter about whether it was a Smoak enterprise or Smoak Enterprises, but we heard it with a capital E, like he was giving the actual company name and comparing it to Star Labs.) -He says he shadowed Bamford and he's going to shadow another director later in the season (John something?) but he isn't confirmed to direct an episode yet. He's still learning. -He mentioned he's working on a Represent campaign about a health issue that's close to his heart that he hasn't talked about publicly yet, and that Stephen is helping him with it. -He said that there's lots of talk about Dig's dad being played by Carl Weathers, but it's not yet confirmed. I think that's it! 29 Link to comment

Primal Slayer September 4, 2017 Share September 4, 2017 I'm glad that DR made sure that Diggles fight style differs from Olivers when in the Arrow suit.
