JMW (Steffy) did an interview with Michael Fairman about the current storyline which also included some hints for the future. She says that right now fans are in favor of Steam but that could change with Still taking over based on the storyline coming up. She also states that Steffy absolutely agrees that Bill is right when he says that she can feel the passion with him that she doesn’t have with Liam. She talks about scripts coming up and how she’s excited to be going on a new journey. Also, she laughs and says that she’s ok with Kelly being Bill’s if that comes out down the line and her reaction to Scott Clifton saying Kelly was Liam’s on twitter was that you never know. Lastly, she laughs and agrees with Michael Fairman that this could all turn out with Steffy loving her blackmailer.

If Kelly ends up being Bill's daughter and that ends the idiot triangle of Steffy/Liam/Hope, I am all for it.

I think it could end up with Steffy/Bill together, Liam/Hope together, and Ridge/Brooke break up again.

If it moves us on from the current crap show, I'm all for it. Let Still have their day and Bill win this round with Bridge imploding. Not sure if they'll give Steam the clean break with Kelly being Bill's. They'll want Steam to still have that complication to irk Bill and he begins to try to squeeze Liam out of being Kelly's father.

If Still and Lope happen and Lope is allowed to keep their baby, I'd expect either Kelly or the Lope baby to have a health issue where one child needs the other child's marrow or blood and it brings the two opposing couples together with Bill and Liam finally reuniting and Hope and Steffy bonding as protective mothers. They may be passing the turkey at the Forrester Thanksgiving dinner in 2019!

Any way we can get Alexander in honor of poor Aly? Cooper Alexander Spencer-Logan or Alexander Cooper Spencer-Logan isn't bad. They best not name him (if it's a boy ) after great grandpa Stephen.

If Hope named her baby boy after Nick since he was a better dad to her than Ridge, I'd chuckle. Nicholas Cooper Spencer-Logan has a nice ring to it. I know Nick is actually a Dominic but Felicia already has a Dominic aka Dino so just go with Nicholas. I can't imagine Hope naming her child after Deacon unless he took a buckle for her while she was pregnant.

Probably not, since they already have an Elizabeth (Lizzie).

Bridget also claimed Logan way back in 2010 for her miracle baby, so that's out, too.

Oh, wait! What was Brooke's grandmother's name? Cuz she did have a grandmother who appeared on the show white often in the early seasons and last appeared at Brooke and Thorne's wedding IIRC. If it's a girl, maybe Brooke will suggest that name.

Would they dare have Hope name her own daughter Faith? I could see her saying that she never gave up on her and Liam being together and having a family and Faith is the proof.

Grace and Harmony could be other contenders.

I now post spoilers with the hope that one day they'll be good.

Spoilers from www.thetvwatercooler.com

Source: https://www.thetvwatercooler.com/2018/07/steffy-liam-hope-spoilers-bold-and-the-beautiful-july-2018/

Week of July 23
-Xander reveals his and Zoe's past to Ridge.
-Steffy walks in on Liam and Hope and then strikes a deal with Bill.
-The triangle between their daughters and Liam continues to trouble Brooke and Ridge.

So Steffy is going to be a dummy get played by Bill? Or is it she's finally doing what she wants under the guise of being mannipple-lated (TM Sonny Corrinthos)?

Can Zoe go on a murder spree and kill everyone?

  • Love 6

Steffy has a choice: she can continue the merry-go-round with Liam and Hope, or she can get off. She is just going to choose the option that she knows will hurt Liam the most: turning to Bill.

I think that Steffy is only going to see them kissing.

We know that in the past, that was just the push that she needed to sleep with Bill.

Cannot wait until Ridge finds out.

Kelly's new nanny! This is how you introduce a new character. She fills an actual role on the show and can slowly be expanded to have her own storylines if they want to.

Let me get this straight - a supposedly ball busting bad ass independent woman decides to run to the arms of her stalker father -in -law after seeing her baby daddy in a kiss with his other baby momma instead of, oh, I dunno, kicking both men to the curb and raising her daughter her damn self and telling her baby daddy to get his ish together and her baby grand-daddy that he needs to back the eff up.

HOW is starting a life with Bill good for her or Kelly when it'll make them both a battle ground between Liam and Bill.

This is about hurting Liam and forcing the men to fight over her, plain and simple.

Adding:

Early Edition Spoilers

Brooke assures Hope that she has every right to be with Liam. Ridge reacts when he sees Steffy wearing Bill's sword necklace!

Hahahahahahahahaha! Yes, of course. For the sake of her beloved daughter Steffy has to hook up with a man who has lied to, blackmailed stalked and tried to ruin her life who she has NO INTEREST IN SHE LOVES LIAM DAMN YOU! Sure, show. Sure. How else will she afford to give baby Kelly food to eat and a place to live?

Oh well.

Fuck him. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But really, I agree. A truly strong woman would choose herself. It's not like Steffy needs either of them to cover Kelly's expenses; if anything, she'd probably be paying alimony to Liam's basic ass.

THANK you!

And that's actually a story that needs to be tackled on a soap about women. How women will be called upon to legally support their baby daddy's and be in search of men their equal. Steffy basically needs her own Jasper Jax. A jetsetting international businessman who doesn't take shit, never takes second place, and lives for the moment. Neither Wyatt nor Liam fit that. Bill is a bit too old and not as cosmopolitan to fit that either.

And if Steffy's thinking is that she needs a reliable father for her child due to her daddy issues, they really need to go whole hog and have her blast Ridge in addition to Liam and Bill and make this story Steffy's journey of realizing that she doesn't need men to validate her or complete her and she focus only on her daughter for a while.

  • Love 6

I can't see Steffy hiring a hot young nanny like the one pictured above. She's way too jealous and insecure. I would expect her to hire an older, preferably unattractive woman to be Kelly's nanny. I'll bet Steffy's rude and dismissive to the young woman. It didn't get past me when Liam told Brooke that he had to get home to relieve the nanny. I'll be Steffy won't let Liam within 100 yards of her.

That would make a more interesting SL than this crap we have right now. Liam dumps both Hope and Steffy and runs off with the nanny. Hey, that's a Hollywood classic true-life story.

If Steffy being with Bill causes Ridge's head to explode, Liam to be angry because he can't handle the idea of Steffy with Bill, and Brooke to have to watch as Hope unravels because Liam keeps thinking about Steffy, I am all for it.  Let these people continue to ruin each other's lives and be miserable.  It's also hilarious that Steffy is the one making the decision, not Liam.  Then at some point either Ridge or Wyatt will say something like, "you want Seffy back," and Liam will say something lame like "possibly" and that will be Liam's que (because if Liam ever makes an actual decision of his own, the world will end) to half-way think about pursuing Steffy which will result in Bill playing the "I'm Kelly's bio-dad card."

This may sound odd, but while I think this entire Hope/Liam/Steffy/Bill storyline is poorly written, and I'm not a fan of AN's Hope (I really liked Kim Matula), I would be ok with this storyline if it actually caused some honest to goodness conflict on this show.  I saw Steffy/Hope confront each other and it lacked fangs.  I keep reading that the problems with their daughters will cause friction between Bridge, but when exactly is that going to happen?  All I see are them discussing it calmly with one saying to the other, "I think your daughter will be disappointed/no, I think your daughter will be disappointed".  Brooke has a low opinion of Steffy, which is fine, but why not let Ridge overhear it?  Let's see Bill show up at Forrester events as Steffy's guy and watch Brooke's, Ridge's, Katie's and anyone else's heads explode.  I just think there's too much civility in this storyline and nothing close to what B&B has advertised (at least with respect to Bridge), and it's boring the heck out of me.  IA that it's ridiculous for Steffy to even consider turning to Bill for any reason, and the writing is repetitious and idiotic, but if it leads to some action, fights and meaty drama for a change, then let's get it going.

  • Love 4

Didn't Bill give Steffy a sword-ette necklace way back in the day?  It seems like I remember somebody getting the "feminine" version of that godawful cheesy thing and it wasn't Katie or Brooke. Both of them would laugh hysterically and throw it in the nearest trash can. I know Brooke got the hideous sword engagement/wedding band.  Am I crazy?

Yes, she had her own that was given to her by him during their time together when he was with Katie. He gave it to her, but she couldn't wear it in public.

I guess she will be able to now.  I think after today's show where he asked again to marry him, that for sure they may marry soon.

Because sleeping with Steffy didn't already ruin it beyond repair.........?

I hope Liam has the stomach for PDA+ 24/7 living with Wally.

Hey, Waffles had his chance to be with Sally and she has (for now, at least *knock on wood*) entirely moved on from him.

He can stuff it or make his own money if he doesn't like it ;)

Yeah....not sure how Bill and Liam reconcile after this short of one of them having a Jason Quatermaine/Morgan type of head injury and having to start over from scratch.

Hey, hey, hey...let's not tell Liam to stuff if since we haven't seen his reaction yet to the Wally humpfest.  He may sit back with popcorn and use it as cheap porn since apparently he has no money to spare.

Did Hope and Liam ever live together? I feel like cliff house was solely Steam's abode. Lope will ultimately live at Brooke's cottage obviously.

Like, ever? I think they did in 2013-2014 after Steffy left. Actually, I know they did because I remember Wyatt's entitled ass was whining about wanting the house for himself.

You very well could be correct, but I think I remember Wyatt whining to $Bill about the cliff house after Wyatt & Hope were married, not while Liam & Hope lived there together. No idea why Wyatt wanted the house Hope gave it up to Liam in, but he wanted everything Liam had. I don't actually recall Liam & Hope ever living together, which is strange, for a couple who has been on & off for the better part of a decade.

However, I have toddlers, so my memory sucks, & I could be completely off-base.

Don't tell me Ridge backs off due to Steffy getting the shares of FC from Bill because if so...damn, son, way to applaud your daughter pimping herself out.

Guess Steffy's healed up from birthing OBG. She's rebooting Brooke's Bedroom and I'm guessing she's going to be the signature model to show Liam what he's missing and make Bill forget all about Skye.

This Ridge truly only cares about himself and it's so gross. Back when Rick and Steffy were together, we knew he and Rick had beef from way back when but Moss conveyed the sense that it was not just about being a blowhard to Rick and he genuinely cared about Steffy (and Phoebe before that, even if his own dabbling with Bridget was not only hypocritical but still in recent memory).

I can think of no recast that is worse than this one has been. By all accounts, TK can knock scenes out the park when he needs to that Moss couldn't carry if given a a pickup truck. But he just cannot do the softer side of Ridge that kept this character from being a complete louse.

I really think Jon Hensley (with some hair color) would've been great for this role, as Ridge was basically Holden Synder in Bel Air and the only time I liked that character was during his scenes with Luke. But I guess that ship has sailed, short of Kaye leaving on his own accord. *sigh*.

Would the show go there and in great Forrester tradition have Steffy model the line in an 'I'm back bitches. And no Liam, you can't touch!' at the next FC fashion show with Bill meeting her at the end of the runway to put a ring on it? I'd actually pay money for that just to see the look on everyone's faces. Or she can be in a boss bitch full volumn/Evil Queen black wedding gown. Crap, can't believe it, but I may be down for the rise of Darth Still if the show commits to it!

I think you're spot on about Ridge. He was still doing the same gross hateful things back when Moss was playing him, but he was too much of a charming, bland himbo to come off as actually hateful. TK is leaning into the gross side of Ridge which makes the character pretty unbearable.

Yeah, that feels familiar. TK's Zach was beloved by fans on AMC - except for the last years when Zach started behaving grossly, and it was the same thing then. He doubles down on it; he can't or won't play the sorts of nuances and layers that would keep his character from being so hateful. I used to think that maybe he just thought that was fitting for Zach, but he plays Ridge the same way in this respect and Ridge isn't Zach.

Keyword: "If."

Cuz this show loves taking a hard swerve like a teenage boy driving a Mustang GT, the very first I those I personally remember being the dissolution of Brooke and Thorne's marriage, which didn't even last six month after all the shit they went through to be together.

And then, the sudden swerve of Stephanie tossing Brooke out the minute Taylor came back.

And suddenly how Nick was Brooke's destiny after we'd watch her push him away, even when she thought RJ was Nick's.

....I don't get too attached to a good story. As was pointed out, this show runs on all cylinders or  it's DOA and no other show has such extremes in quality

That's better than none of the fucks to give for Y&R...hell, I barely even visit the forums  because it's such a different show than the one I grew up on. But a bit more consistency would be nice.

Having watched last Tuesday and Wednesday's episode, I'm so glad that at least one party has some sense of embarrassment in Hope, and not just in the "my image of myself is ruined" way like the first time she and Liam banged. I feel like she does have some conflict with what she wants and feeling genuinely bad for Steffy (which I wasn't buying when she first came back to town).

Between this and the recap, it seems like they've finally figured out a middle ground between the spoiled hypocritical princess she used to be and the Bridget 2.0 routine of the last six months  and I'm here for that (along with her telling Brooke and Ridge to STFU, since neither is qualified to give love advice or make demands in a situation that begins and ends with Steffy's need to win at all costs).

Edit: also liked that 90 percent of Steffy's dressing down was aimed at Liam and not all about bashing Hope. Besides being sick of men being allowed to skate (the way Bill was when he was married to Katie and Steffy was the other woman), they aren't even close to being even for the shit Steffy pulled on her just for existing.
