John told Becky she has a 1 in 5 chance for veto because he's not gonna try for it. I'm dumbfounded.

 

I think he means to throw it to Becky.

 

He is trying to find a way they both survive. He thinks they have a better chance of that happening with him on the block.

 

Very unpopular opinion but if Johnny remains on the block, amma need team up with Vanessa for a week or two to take out Austwins. Johnny would have Becky, Steve and Vanessa's vote if they are able to convince her she is the house' enemy.

Okay, that is the most interesting theory behind this move I've seen.  I still think it is a hell of a risk, but I can see that thinking.  I guess his thought is there are a couple of days for Vanessa to spectacularly blow up her game and end up on the block with him?  I can't imagine anyone else going over him, unless maybe James? Maybe this is his 'go big or go home' move?  All while he still has a chance to come back in.

Add the tuna chunks in his hair to the fact he never uses shampoo or soap and, well,...........I don't even know how to finish this sentence.

 

Y'know, before this I was thinking of making myself a tuna sandwich. Not so much anymore. I'm not sure I want food at all now.

 

She also braided his hair last night. Quite the turnaround after #Ponybeardgate last week.

 

That's what I was thinking when she was playing with it. She hated that thing last week and wanted him to chop it off, now she willingly plays with it? Well, that and the fact that there was probably tuna in it still. Maybe she was just cleaning it up for him.

 

Yup, sufficiently grossed out now. And probably not eating tuna for awhile.

JMac deserves to go home if he throws it. The funny thing is he would go home if he threw it to Becky. There's no way he's that stupid, right? Right???

 

His crush on Becky is really pathetic to watch. Last night he was trying to defend her to Austin and Liz. Austin was like, "she never mentioned protecting you. She just talks about her team (James/Meg)." He obviously didn't get the hint.

Easy to see why John liked Clay so much.  They really are two peas in a pod.  Both would be willing to throw away their games for their women.  Ugh.

And we were worried that this would be a boring season! Thank you Vanessa.

The best thing about this season, is the lack of production interference. I'm sure there is some but not the blatant interference in the past.

And what happened to the season of Twists? Scrapped? Instead of interviewing BB contestants, Jeff should give us a look behind the scenes. Would love to know what's really going on in the head of BB production.

 

I wonder if the lack of production interference is due to the fact that there are no clear fan favorites for the fans.  I mean most of the people I know have said they do not like or dislike anyone in the game. 

 

We've been saying this around here forever. The smart play for the rest of the house is to knock out Liz. She's the "point" of that power triangle, and without her to bridge the gap between Julia and Austin, Julia's going to remember how Austin was willing to throw her under the bus shortly after her arrival, and pay that debt back.

 

But do the others know that?  I mean I do not have the live feeds but from what I have been reading on here the twins seem to be in a bubble and do not talk to others that much.  So maybe someone like James might not know that Liz is the glue to the alliance.

ETA: Although with a jury member returning they may not care too much.

Plus, John seems to be the show narrator for this season.  I'm guessing production will interfere to keep him around if it looks like he's going.

Oh, that's what he's trying to do?  Then he's actually right.  If he comes down, there is still just a chance that Vanessa goes up.  But it's more than likely now that James goes up and out instead.  But that's likely only if Becky comes down.  If John does, then probably Meg as an easy pawn.

Conspiracy time! Vanessa was flipping through the BB Rule Book for awhile there in the living room. She then got up, put it back in the storage room, and went into the DR. You can argue that she was checking out the list of HN foods but that's not as much fun as wondering if she's trying to find a loophole to keep herself from being backdoored or bitch about Johnny Mac having that one cookie by accident.

Okay, her plan is not going to work, but I was just watching a video I was directed to by twitter, and it was a 3 1/2 cookie incident (ETA:  I can't believe I just typed those words!) by John, before Steve called him out and he threw the last one away.  As he was eating the first, he was waving to the camera, as he was finishing it, he gave a thumbs up to the camera (he was alone in the room). 

 

Is he trying to get himself kicked out?  Between this and all of his "I'm throwing POV" comments, I'm questioning his motives.

If Liz goes, someone should talk about cute production staff guys being at the jury house. Austin would beg to go and leave so fast on eviction night that he'd leave a cartoon-style hole in the door.

To quote Snagglepuss "Exit stage left". Or you will see the Road Runner and a cloud of dust. With all of the tattoos You can see on Austin, I'm wondering if there are any that are in his private areas that he wants to show Liz?

Even though I want Becky gone the most, out of all the HG left, I think it would be interesting if she wins veto. Because Liz would likely put up Meg or James (unless Vanessa pulls a Vanessa and gets herself nominated, which is possible if she goes crazy enough), and I think that would finally convince Meg/James that the Austwins are 100% with Vanessa and Steve, and they are against James/Meg. And maybe, just maybe, everyone in the house would finally freakin realize that it's time to break up the threesome.

 

However, these HGs, Meg in particular, never fail to amaze me at how stupid they can be, so I guess chances are just as good that Liz will send James home, and Meg will still be like, "I don't get it.....why are they going after my peeps??? I thought we were cool??? Why did this happen??"

 

ETA: I was just looking over Jokers to see if I missed anything and saw this:

I...don't understand this. How did Vanessa betray Shelli? By campaigning against her when they were both on the block together? I understand not liking Vanessa or her style of playing, but Vanessa was pretty loyal to Shelli throughout the game. I don't see how someone can criticize her for fucking over Shelli. Shelli and Clay fucked over Shelli and Clay.

Until it was clear the alliance was going to be broken up and it was Vanessa or Shelli, I think both Shelli and Vanessa intended to stick together. It got a little screwy because of the showmance, though.

And this John obsession just gets weirder. From the tears until now...

I'm reminded that Vanessa went to law school. As we all can tell she's very careful with her words. Just like a lawyer might be. She says exactly what she means and includes loopholes. She's expecting everyone else to be as literal as she is and recognize that she hasn't lied. Most people look at the intent behind the words or the actions so they see her manipulating words.

I'm pretty literal myself...luckily I work with friendly people who've gotten used to me and I to them, otherwise, I used to get nearly as frustrated and emotional as Vanessa.

That might be why I always feel the need to defend her.

I think Vanessa's problem is she's a control freak...and doesn't have any self control .

I just need Becky to win this veto. It's the only way to get some drama and unpredictability out of this week. But she's kinda terrible in non-physical comps and this veto is probably otev or stay/fold, so she's probably screwed. Sigh, why did I let myself start rooting for someone? I was doing so good with not being invested until last week, dammit!

Apparently Meg beat John and Becky. LOL. Good on ya, Meg. She's about due for a win soon, I think.

Sigh, why did I let myself start rooting for someone? I was doing so good with not being invested until last week, dammit!

I think that's why I like this season so much, because aside from Becky (who I really only started to hate once she became the Clelli rat), there's no one that I really dislike that much. I mean, there are stupid gameplayers and annoying HGs and Austin is creepy, but for the most part, once Becky is gone, I think on a personal level I like all the people left. In pretty much every past season, it was the opposite for me. I hated almost everyone, and rooted for one person who had no shot at winning. But now, I can just sort of enjoy the game, and not stress over how someone I hate is going to win.

Too bad Steve filled in Julia earlier about OTEV being a veto comp and not HoH. I would have loved to see her baffled face as she went out into the backyard. "What?! Ohmigod I'm so confuuuuuuseduh!"

 

ETA: Apparently, Jace's clue in OTEV was about his face being taken off the memory wall. Man, BB is nasty this year to the HGs and I love it.

So I haven't checked on the feeds yet today... did Johnny Mac kill Vanessa in her sleep? Or did security manage to stop him?

 

No... I think he has "Killing Vanessa" pencilled in tomorrow, between "Slop Chops" and "BB Bowling".

 

That assumes, of course, tomorrow's wake-up music isn't something along the lines of Five Finger Death Punch.  If John gets jarred awake by death metal, he may get all red-faced and have to kill V on general principle.  She said so.

 

Also...another thought on breaking up the Austwins...how likely do you think it is that Austin would beg to be evicted next if Liz was evicted? I mean I could see him trying for HOH so he could be the hero who avenges her, but if he didn't get it, he'd totally volunteer to be sent out, don't you think?

 

I think he'd want to do the go-out-in-a-blaze-of-glory thing - win an HoH (if possible), knock out a big target and be damned with the consequences, then go out the next week.  It would appeal to his sense of theatricality.

 

If the final two is the twins, forget about finale night.  It's going to be a mind-numbing, ear gauging week on the feeds.  

Riiiiighhht?  Yeeaaahhh.

 

Look on the bright side - we'd all get a week of our lives back.

I can't wait to see Becky trying to knock stuff out of Austin's hands. That'll be fun to watch.


By the end of the week Austin's story will have morphed into "Becky tried to murder me during the comp!"

 

I'm gonna start rooting for Vanessa. Maybe then she'll get evicted lol.

I agree with all of this except I think I hate Austin as much as Becky, but for very different reasons. He's just TOO gross. I might like him more (or at least respect the game player he is emerging as) if I could stand to look at/listen to him AT ALL, but I can't.

Apparently, they also have the super-power of invisibility to the other HGs.  Someone nominate these two already!  It's so obvious.  Even Vanessa has to be thinking about it.

Next week the only people who would nominate 2 of those 4 is probably John and James and even then I'm not sure. They'd probably dumbly put up a 'pawn' with one of them and the other 3 would have the votes to evict the pawn. But I hope they aren't that dumb and that they can make Meg not dumb. But one of those 3 has to win HOH first anyway.

If Vanessa is on the block post-veto next week, no matter who she's against, it will take a Dan's funeral level move to save her. Every single person in that house wants her gone. Austwins want her as a shield for next week, but that's it. They agreed that the best case scenario next week is John wins HoH because he made an agreement with the Austwins that if he was saved this week, he would agree to use the Goblins as pawns for his backdoor Vanessa plan. Then ideally Vanessa would not get picked for veto and everyone would throw it to James. James would then take himself of the block and everyone would have to vote Vanessa out over Meg since Meg is so useless.
