Matt's Inside Line:

The Quantico twist that has me most curious so far is the twins (played by Yasmine Al Massri). Any scoop on what that is all about? –Meaghan

Nimah and Raina aka the twins-posing-as-one “were one of the very first things I thought about [when creating Quantico],” showrunner Josh Safran told me. And though the double take may seem far-fetched, Safran says, “It’s based on a KGB tactic that was used during the Cold War as a way to…. Um, I actually don’t want to say any more, because I was about to give it away! But you will discover why they were recruited, and it is very integral to the plot.”

Anything on Ryan and Alex from Quantico in your next column would be great!! Please!! — babyscort
You actually better hope this juicy tidbit from EP Josh Safran is not talking about Ryan or Alex. “Because the show doesn’t pull any punches, not all of our cast survives the midseason finale,” he says. “It’s sad. It’s been sad for us, too, but it’s also necessary. You can’t really tell a television show about the violence that we inflict on each other without actually following through on that.”

So, just gonna throw out a prediction right here: one of the twins is gonna die. I wish Caleb was one, but I know he's not one. Unless it's a flashforward to the end of the season. Elias is probably biting it too. Maybe Vasquez. Everyone else is relatively safe.

Please let Caleb and Ryan die. But I'm guessing Brandon is already dead (we've never seen him in the future) and one of the twins and/or Natalie die.

Natalie can't die! How can you even imagine that a Disney-owned channel would kill a single mom who sacrificed everything and even faked a scar to be with her little sweet daughter?

Lol.

She's pretty one note since her only purpose seems to be angry and snarling in every scene.

I think that somehow Caleb's mom and dad are involved. There was a line about her going into the building on 9/11 when everyone was rushing out and the photo of that moment got her elected. Who knows though. This show is filled with red herrings.

His parents are played by Jacob/Satan and Kimberly/Bree; they are definitely OMG TUH EVIL!

One of the things the sort of got right is that a lot of the people admitted into the FBI were rich, successful or politically connected meaning they probably used connections and not just test scores and interviews to get in. Just in a local police department you wouldn't believe all the hires that are connected to police and politicians.

What if it turns out that Alex was actually the terrorist mastermind but has some sort of dissociative disorder?

Instead of "A Beautiful Mind", a "Beautiful Head of Hair".

I told myself that I wasn't interested in watching a second season of this crapfest.  Out of curiosity I wanted to see which characters were returning.  Let's see... no Caleb (who became my favourite character), no Claire Haas, no Iris Chang, no Will.  Instead, it looks like there is going to be another season of the Amazing Misadventures of Star-Crossed Lovers Alex and Ryan.  I truly despise Ryan, the actor is awful.

Claire Haas has to be back - and what - no Caleb!?!  I - what the heck is this show doing?

Are we sure Caleb is out?  He and Shelby were two of my faves (though I was kinda hating Shelby at the end before and during graduation)... but for real - no Caleb?  And what happened to Iris?  Will?  The other agent who got held at knifepoint by porno guy?

I guess Alex just takes on a new government agency every year, huh?  Like a real life version of UnREAL, but this time for government ABC agencies?  What's S3 - the NSA?

According to Joshua Safran, MKTOPAZ (2x16) is probably going to be last episode of the season that Harry Doyle will be in, since Russell Tovey will be doing theatre work (Angels in America). He will most likely be written out of the story. I got this news from TVLine and I provided a link below for anyone to corroborate the information. Personally, I feel a little sad because I was hoping for a Harry and Caleb interaction. Also, Harry is an interesting character with a lot of intrigue and mystery. I am going to miss him.

On a positive note though, I have good news. Graham Rogers is credited for an upcoming episode of Quantico. He will play as Caleb Haas in KUMONK (2x18). Just to verify that information, I have provided a SpoilerTV link below for one's own review and consideration. Now, we just have to wait a little longer than we expected. The promo for the MOCKINGBIRD (2x15) episode fooled us into thinking that his re-appearance would be earlier than we hoped for which must have annoyed a few people. Hopefully, it won't be too long till we see Caleb again.

The problem comes from how forced the couple is, their 'tension', their issues, etc.  Either get together or don't, stop trying to make this a 'will they, won't they' thing because it doesn't work here.
