Ciarrai April 3, 2015 Share April 3, 2015 I hate Chrissie Teigen. What exactly is she famous for again, because it damn well shouldn't be her face. I believe my teenage cousin would call her a "Butterface" 4 Link to comment
MartinKSmith April 3, 2015 Share April 3, 2015 I've always enjoyed the Lip Sync Battles as part of The Tonight Show. When I saw they were making it into it's own show, the biggest question was "Really? Does this need to be it's own show?!"Watching these two episodes, the answer is clear. No. Not at all. However, having said that, did I enjoy them? ...Yeah. No idea why Chrissie Teigen is there though. She added nothing to the show. 5 Link to comment
joanne3482 April 3, 2015 Share April 3, 2015 I LOVED this. It was so fun! I love it when celebrities can be silly and not take themselves too seriously. It is now being recorded regularly by my DVR. So silly and funny! Perfect pick-me-up after a bad day. 1 Link to comment

car54 April 3, 2015 Share April 3, 2015 Too bad NBC didn't take this show and put it on the same night as Hollywood Game Night--it would be a great pairing.I liked it, I think the best ones will be with Jimmy--he just takes it very seriously. I like Chrissy--probably more than LL Cool J--he's hosted too many things for me to enjoy it anymore. 1 Link to comment
opus April 4, 2015 Share April 4, 2015 (edited) Too bad NBC didn't take this show and put it on the same night as Hollywood Game Night--it would be a great pairing.I was thinking that. Jimmy doesn't have enough power at the network to get this on NBC?Oh, and who knows what the opening theme song is? Edited April 4, 2015 by GaryE Link to comment
KayElektra April 4, 2015 Share April 4, 2015 I enjoyed both eps and had a smile on my face during all the performances. Personally, I think John Legend should have won that second battle, but it was close. Common does a mean Lionel. However, Chrissy Teigan makes Khloe Kardashian look like a good host. And I say this as someone who doesn't normally dislike Chrissy Teigan. 2 Link to comment
dusang April 4, 2015 Share April 4, 2015 (edited) I agree, John Legend should have won. That first rap? And the audacity to look that good wearing vintage MC Hammer? Respect. Edited April 6, 2015 by dusang 3 Link to comment
callie lee 29 April 8, 2015 Share April 8, 2015 (edited) I liked it. Everyone looked like they were have a great time. I'll DVR it. Seeing The Rock refer to Taylor Swift as Tay-Tay cracked my shit up. Edited April 8, 2015 by callie lee 29 2 Link to comment
damnman April 8, 2015 Share April 8, 2015 my husband thought that she was quite unattractive as well. Butterface lol you guys crack me up! Rock did a mean Tay-Tay and I agree John Legend should have won that second one...silly, set your brain on a shelf and laugh fun. Link to comment
turnitwayup April 9, 2015 Share April 9, 2015 I was thinking that. Jimmy doesn't have enough power at the network to get this on NBC? Oh, and who knows what the opening theme song is? 20th Century Boy by T Rex. Jimmy brought it to NBC but they passed on it. I enjoyed both eps but I loved the John/Common battle when they both got to dress up and went all out on the choreo. 1 Link to comment
mtlchick April 10, 2015 Share April 10, 2015 I agree, John Legend should have won. That first rap? And the audacity to look that good wearing vintage MC Hammer? Respect. Had he busted out more Hammer like moves like the one I call the "typewriter" (you know which one I mean) he would have won. I think Common won due to the wig. Meanwhile The Rock would have to put kittens in a headlock for me to ever hate him. 1 Link to comment
DeLurker April 10, 2015 Share April 10, 2015 It was close on Common vs Legend, but I have to go with Common for keeping that wig on while breakdancing. 1 Link to comment
TrininisaScorp April 10, 2015 Share April 10, 2015 That was silly mindless fun. I would have thought they would have this as a summer show b/c it seems perfect for that mid year, nothing to do time period. I don't mind Chrissy normally, but I'm not sure what her purpose is at all here. Husband doesn't really know who she was and couldn't believe she was a model when I explained. Common v. John. I agree with above posts: If John busted out a few more early 90s dance moves, he tots had it. Common was pretty great with the wig, leather pants and red shirt. Seeing LL's glee at his outfit was worth the tv time. Jimmy v. The Rock. Yeah, Between the Tay tay (heh) and Sat Night Fever, there wasn't any competition. Even on the bits on his show, I find Jimmy's song selection a little weak for this format. Link to comment
DeLurker April 10, 2015 Share April 10, 2015 I had no idea who Chrissy Tiegen was, but she's trying to hard to be sexy. Link to comment

Aethera April 17, 2015 Share April 17, 2015 Just stumbled across the repeats on a bad day. I couldn't have asked for something better for my mood than The Rock doing Shake It Off, though I don't like Taylor Swift. He was the perfect first guest for this show, and he clearly enjoyed himself. And Jump In the Line is one of my favorite songs, though it wasn't right for this venue. I did laugh when an entire choir was lip syncing though. Does this need to be a show instead of a bit I enjoy on YouTube? No. And Chrissy Tiegen…what? But LL is doing well with such cheesy stuff. That MC Hammer move was called the Chinese Typewriter. I don't know why I know that. There are so many important things I could be remembering, but instead, that's in my brain. 2 Link to comment
