So Jill wished Renee a Happy Birthday on Facebook.  Ok- but Jill and Kaylee are both in Vegas with their phones and laptops. Exactly how is Renee going to see this post since she doesn’t have her own Facebook account?   Who is going to show it to her?

My thoughts are that she does these postings while Jill is sitting next to her.  Jill has already  said that they don’t allow their adult offspring on Facebook until they have jobs and have proven themselves responsible.  So far that seems to be Tim only. Since Kaylee didn’t get one until she got married.

I don't recall Phillip ever on SM. 

Renee has a phone (as do the working boys). But only Renee and Tim have posted on Jill's account. Maybe Kaylee when she sold the earrings with Renee. Nurie never sold anything that I can recall, but she might have also posted on Jill's account at some point before she got married.

I know, a baby doesn't belong there or even going to a plexus event. Aren't they usually loud? Leave him with Renee or if you must take him, bring someone along to watch him. That poor kid. I can imagine  him being carried through a casino with all the ching ching of the machines (even coinless they make the noise), and then outside into the oppressive heat.

It won't just be Gideon who doesn't want to be there with the smoke and noise.  Other guests will not be pleased, either.  Nor will the other Plexus people.  This was a very bad decision.

Any time I have stayed in Las Vegas, I have always been able to smell smoke in my room.  I don't care what kind of air purifiers the hotel has, the entire building smelled of smoke.  This is not a good environment for a small child, especially one who spent time in the NICU with breathing issues.  These people just don't think.

Especially moving back and forth between Excalibur and the Linq( Ceasar’s).   Not sure if there’s tram stops- but they are always at the back of the casinos and it’s a long walk through them.  I’ve been there in the summer and walking anywhere is HOT! I wouldn’t  dream of going out there dressed like they do.

How long are they there for? It is going to be 105 on Thursday and 107 on Friday. I'm not sure if Jill would want to stay an extra day!

Considering how inappropriate and poorly planned this trip is, there's a good chance Jill, Kaylee, and poor Gideon, who shouldn't be there at all, will be miserable for most of it.

However, Jill will buy hats for herself and souvenirs for David and post smiling photos with other Plexusers. All her followers need to know what a wonderful Christian business Plexus is and what fantastic events they sponsor for their loyal members. Her bad mood will come after she's back home and has had time to think through the experience. Wait for the screed. It will come.

I've read that their hotel (Excalibur) is a long haul down the strip from Caesar's where the Plexus meetings are. I wonder if Jill will pay for Lyft/Uber to go back and forth, or just drag herself, Kaylee, and the baby on long long walks in the heat. Sounds dreadful!

There is a tram, but it stops at the back of the Flamingo across the street; it's quite a haul through casinos and such to Caesar's from there.  If they walked it directly, it would be about 1.5 miles from the Excalibur.  I'll bet they are taxiing or Ubering; if so, they would have been better off spending that money to stay at the Flamingo, and likely get nicer rooms.  But penny-wise, pound-foolish.

It is roughly 2 miles from Excalibur to Caesar's  That is the distance between the two hotels on the strip and doesn't include the fact that all of the Vegas hotels are set back from the road and there is a pretty decent trek from the street to the lobby.  Not to mention having to schlep through a massive casino to get to the meeting rooms, restaurants, shopping or elevators.  A lot of the hotels have moving sidewalks to take customers from the sidewalk into the casino, but, when it is time to leave, you hoof it back to the road, at least at Caesar's.  We're talking a roughly 5 mile walk round trip in 90+ degree weather.  And, when it is that hot, it doesn't matter if the heat is dry.

As for the tram, I think they can catch it at the MGM which is across the street from Excalibur and, of course, requires crossing a huge street with tons of traffic and traipsing through both casinos, figure at least 15 minutes each way, there is a stop at Caesar's.  The tram will provide Jill with a real slice of life for ranting, too.  It's quite popular with inebriated, loud fools.  And, in Vegas, doesn't matter what time of day, there are drunks 'round the clock.  Last time I was there, at the MGM, there were young guys wearing last night's tuxes, sleeping it off on the craps tables at the back of the casino at 8 AM.  A security guard said they found that letting them pass out on the tables was easier than hustling them out.

Of course Jill would, just because there are rules, that doesn't mean they apply to her.  I'm sure her hotel has some sort of babysitting service, or Plexus could work something out with Caesar's for childcare.  Many national meetings provide some sort of childcare for a price. but no way Jill is going to agree to that.  Why, one of those men who dresses like a woman might be there!

The FAQ I posted earlier said not to bring children…but went on to say that all attendees to events had to pay registration and that children 5 and under  were free.  I take that  to mean that they won’t kick Kaylee and Gideon out. Now, if Gideon starts crying during the meeting, who knows? 
 

I will grant Jill this:  Jill ( or whomever made the hotel reservations) probably had no idea how far away Excalibur was.  It probably looked like a block or two to her on the map.  Unless you are told how big these buildings and  how far apart, you don’t know until you’ve seen them.   It’s going to take them forever to go back and forth. They would have been better off spending the money to stay on-site.

Someone on reddit suggested onsite hotel daycare and I laughed - there's no way Jill knows any of these things exist, much less would she consider paying real money for them.

I thought from the information that children were not welcome at the formal meetings and training sessions but could attend the various social gatherings between the meetings for free.  Most conventions have a social aspect where family is welcome  outside of the educational sessions.

She's Jana.   The one who "wants" to just stay at home and care for everyone else.  Never get married.   Now whether she actually begged mahmo to stop trying to find her a husband or Mahmo realized she and David might have to cook and clean for themselves soon if all the girls get married, I don't know.

There is always that one person who brings their baby everywhere - weddings, work, adult gatherings, etc. Unlike most moms Jill has been able to do this for decades and can continue with her grandchildren.

And then of course there's covid. I know at least a dozen folks who have come home from their vacations with covid. Fortunately for them they're vaxxed and have mild-ish cases. Unvaccinated preemie babies might have a tougher time.

Jill's clothes look dirty and old too. That new "friend" has on bright colors, big earrings and has beg  hair but she looks clean and fresh.

I am on Facebook, but Jill blocked me and I'm not sure why. I made sure to never like any comment (or make a comment myself).  So I'm glad other people are posting the pictures.
