Lantern7 January 14, 2020 Share January 14, 2020 Puppy Bowl website has been updated for PB XVI. Great mix of cuddly puppies. Not sure the deal about the “back-ups,” though. Should be an entertaining two hours. 5 Link to comment

Lantern7 February 2, 2020 Share February 2, 2020 (edited) Puppy Bowl premieres at 2:56. First repeat at 6:03. Armadillo cheerleaders? Okay, then. And they got two massive Great Danes in the mix. Edited February 2, 2020 by Lantern7 1 Link to comment
Spartan Girl February 2, 2020 Share February 2, 2020 I can't believe Jack was a poodle Chuiuiuua mix when he looked for sure like a Jack Russell! Link to comment
ShadowHunter February 4, 2020 Share February 4, 2020 Blessing to all the animals and happy about the ones who were adopted. If they were not yet I hope they get adopted soon. 3 Link to comment

WendyCR72 February 6, 2021 Share February 6, 2021 So cool! Just heard Puppy Bowl is being hosted just north of my neck of the woods this year because of the pandemic! Usually, I guess some arena in Manhattan is where this takes place. This year, it is taking place in another arena in Glens Falls, NY instead - about a hour or so north of me. 🙂 1 Link to comment
Lantern7 February 7, 2021 Share February 7, 2021 Puppy Bowl is underway. Heads up: it’s three hours long this year. Hasn’t it usually just been two? Link to comment
Browncoat February 7, 2021 Share February 7, 2021 DJ Grand Master Scratch in the Kitty Half-Time Show has got to go. I hate the camera tricks they use to try to make it look like an animal is doing something it clearly isn't. But I love all the special needs animals! Go, Marshall! 3 Link to comment
Frost February 7, 2021 Share February 7, 2021 The puppies, as always, are adorable. Martha Stewart, I beg of you, please lay off the Botox! Your face looks stretched. 6 Link to comment
Lantern7 February 7, 2021 Share February 7, 2021 I kinda faded in and out. I think three hours was too long. Watching the Irwins promote their series, I wondered if there’s an Aussie Rules version of Puppy Bowl. That would be so much more intense that what we have. Link to comment
Spartan Girl February 8, 2021 Share February 8, 2021 Marshall was definitely the MVP, but Jett was amazing! I don’t begrudge the other puppies anything but he should have been the Underdog. 5 Link to comment
Vermicious Knid February 9, 2021 Share February 9, 2021 I may be skipping Kitten Bowl next year. There are far too many humans and time spent on the special stories, instead of watching kitties. Also I appreciate Beth Stern is passionate about animal rescue, but its gotten very annoying to watch her. Link to comment
Woopwoopkitty February 9, 2021 Share February 9, 2021 I love puppy bowl.. I liked the new announcer this year,, Steve Levy did a great job calling the “game” it sounded like a real football game. And the ref Dan always does a good job. i like cats but kitten bowl is just too boring for me. Cute kitties but I’m done after 5 minutes. Link to comment

I wanted to mute her but I also kind of was interested in some of those stories. Link to comment
Vermicious Knid February 7, 2022 Share February 7, 2022 Kicking this up for next week. Kitten Bowl has been cancelled for this year, and just like the regular Super Bowl the Puppy Bowl has a ridiculous amount of pregame shows this time. I am also confused by the fact there are three listings for Puppy Bowl XVIII all tagged as new with different episode names but they are the same thing? Link to comment
LexieLily February 8, 2022 Share February 8, 2022 (edited) Super-bummed about the Kitten Bowl being cancelled. At least there's still Puppy Bowl! Much better than a football game, IMO :) Edited February 8, 2022 by LexieLily 3 Link to comment
Linderhill February 13, 2022 Share February 13, 2022 was there a Dog Bowl this year? I don't remember seeing anything for it. I've been watching a couple of the Puppy Bowl shows that I recorded this week: Dog Bowl Allstars, Puppy Bowl Nation, Puppy Bowl Presents: Best in Show. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't do the Dog Bowl with all of complications of the network being sold. Link to comment
Browncoat February 13, 2022 Share February 13, 2022 Watching Puppy Bowl now. It seems like they've added so much extra stuff. Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg with some random sort-of agility course? Puppy cheerleaders? Kittens in a skybox, "watching" the action. I don't know. I liked it when we just watched puppies play for a couple of hours, with the kitten half-time show. The puppies are cute, though, and some of them are really feisty! 4 Link to comment
Spartan Girl February 13, 2022 Share February 13, 2022 My favorites this year are Nugget the Corgi, Mobi the Frenchie, Wasabi the Jack Russell, and Kirby the lab. Also gotta love Ted D. Bear! 1 Link to comment
Linderhill February 13, 2022 Share February 13, 2022 (edited) I've felt this way for a while. I did always think the hamster/goat/chicken/whatever cheerleaders were a waste. There was one year where I thought they spent some much time with their Animal Planet "celebrities" it felt like we hardly saw the puppies at all. I will admit I'm kind of amused by the puppy cheerleaders. One of the puppies, Irwin, from the SATO Project, I believe was adopted by Jeffery Dean Morgan. He's posted on Insta and twitter about him. https://www.instagram.com/p/CVLt6ppFwgR/ https://twitter.com/TheSatoProject/status/1490403311643734022 Edited February 13, 2022 by Linderhill adding another link 2 Link to comment
Mittengirl February 14, 2022 Share February 14, 2022 It seems like Animal Planet went the typical route of taking a good, simple thing and then ruining it by adding way too many unnecessary “upgrades”. Just let the puppies play! Keep the ref and the kitten half-time and get rid of everything else. 5 Link to comment
Vermicious Knid February 10, 2023 Share February 10, 2023 Bumping for 2023. First time they have a dog from Dominica, West Indies and one from a Native American animal group. Kitten Bowl was cancelled and is replaced this year by The Great American Rescue Bowl on Great American Family, which features both dogs and cats. See Dan Schachner the "Ruff-eree" and a bunch of puppies take over the TMZ studio. 2 1 Link to comment
pasdetrois February 11, 2023 Share February 11, 2023 I'm thrilled to hear about the Native American animal group. There is a desperate need for spay/neuter and rescue of "reservation curs." 3 Link to comment
Lantern7 February 12, 2023 Share February 12, 2023 (edited) Puppy Bowl running out at three hours. I’d like to know about the massive 60-lb puppy. Looks like a Great Dane. I liked the cold open. Snacks is a cute Beagle. ETA: Heh. Pickle the puppy is a “twerkin’ gherkin.” Edited February 12, 2023 by Lantern7 3 Link to comment
Spartan Girl February 12, 2023 Share February 12, 2023 RIP Mykonos 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Glad Pickle got the MVP, and Moocow was the cutest little underdog. I hope somebody adopts the one without front legs. He hopped around like a kangaroo. 1 Link to comment
Browncoat February 13, 2023 Share February 13, 2023 Anyone try to watch the pre-game hour this year? I think I made it all of two minutes before I had to change the channel. Link to comment

chitowngirl January 25 Share January 25 The Puppy Bowl is airing on Animal Planet, Discovery, Discovery+, TBS, Tru TV, and Max 🙄. Does anyone else miss when this was just a fun little show and not an EXTRAVAGANZA? 2 Link to comment
LexieLily February 11 Share February 11 Bumping for the 2024 edition. Bark Purdy is hilarious. Frankie and Niner looked so scared huddled up on each other in the faraway corner 😥 1 1 Link to comment
Lantern7 February 11 Share February 11 Did I miss Cronut the Shar Pei puppy? I was fading in and out for a while. I did get to see all 72 lbs of Levi the Great Dane. I would’ve liked to see him interact with the other puppies, but I guess that wasn’t meant to be. 1 Link to comment
