Boo-I missed that there was a new Signed, Sealed, and Delivered movie last night! ☹️ I’ll try to catch it on Peacock before it disappears in a few days. I looked  at the Signed, Sealed, Delivered thread…inactive since 2018!

I love the Postables so much! I missed it last night but Hallmark is re-airing it at 7:00pm my time (Pacific)

I couldn’t watch last night but will tonight.  Have dearly loved SSD over the years.  I have a strong feeling this will be the last one.  😔

I thought last year's would be the last, so I'm happy to have another. I know I'm old fashioned, but I have bought all of them on DVD so as long as I have a working player I can watch them whenever I want.

I've never seen any of the other SSD movies, but I didn't care for the SSD TTMAB that was on Sat. night.  Seemed like there were 4 or 5 different storylines going on,it was like the writers couldn't figure out if the movie was going to be a drama, comedy, romcom, crime story or what. The only characters I liked were the Mom and her 2 daughters that got such a raw deal .  No wonder Hallmark didn't advertise for this stinker.

After today’s Kentucky Derby, I was in the mood for a horse movie so I was open to Hats Off To Love tonight.  I’ve enjoyed Ginna Claire Mason’s movies in the past — I find her to be relatable, talented as an actress and absolutely as a singer (she did a tiny bit of singing tonight and it fit the story).  I’d never seen her co-star John Clarence Stewart before, but I liked him.  He’s a pretty low-key actor but he was fine in the role.  The horses and scenery and dresses and over-the-top Derby hats were just wonderful to see.  I enjoyed the movie and would recommend it for anyone who loves those gorgeous animals and the Kentucky horse scene.

I enjoyed the hot air ballon sequences in the movie tonight, seeing them all lit up at night was cool & made me want to go to New Mexico to see them. But, I did not recognize McKenzie Westmore, the last time I saw her on=screen was on "Passions" years ago!  What has she done to her face?!  She was so pretty and now her face has that "Real Housewives" look.  Paul Green as the pilot was decent and I got a kick out of his parents(Lorenzo Lamas & Gail O'Grady, who also had too much Botox).  I would say this was just "OK".

You are much more generous than I, @BuckeyeLou.  I came here to post that this may have been the absolute worst Hallmark movie I've ever seen.  I love Paul Greene and he is still totally hot, though apparently not a good enough actor to save this mess.  I don't know who the lead actress was (the 'more info' button doesn't even list her) but yikes!  She and Gail O'Grady had one scene which could have been used as a cautionary tale about the dangers of too much face work.

Yes, the balloons were cool.

I did not watch the balloom movie, but I happened to notice today that even the Hallmark Hausfraus on Facebook were telling Hallmark that the movie last night was awful. They cited a complete lack of chemistry between Paul Greene and the lead actress; the awful wigs, costumes, and makeup; the fake-looking green screens; the wish that they had teamed Paul up with one of the established Hallmark actresses; and a few other things. One poster said they've been feeling that way about all their new movies lately.

So between the comments here and on Facebook, I won't bother watching it, even for Paul Greene.

I made it halfway through the balloon movie but a migraine forced me to stop (the movie didn't cause the migraine, but it certainly didn't help, lol). I'll probably finish it but yikes, it'll be a chore. I remember Mackenzie Westmore from when she hosted Face-off, but she was totally unrecognizable last night. So sad. Also, she seemed way too old for how the character was written, and was generally terrible (sorry Mackenzie). A better lead could have raised the movie into the "eh, there are worse ways to spend 90 minutes" category. The scenery was gorgeous, and one of my closest friends actually runs a hot air balloon tour company with her parents, so I was curious to watch just from that standpoint.

I used to like Paul Greene but his choice to work with GAF (instead of incidentally working with them), choice to somewhat defend Cameron, starred in one of my least favorite Christmas movies ever and choice to wear his shirts open halfway down his chest has given me the ick as of late.

So even though I recorded the movie, I felt as I set record that this might be a Hallmark movie I don't even bother to try to watch and I usually try them all.

I took one look at her face and turned the channel. That much plastic surgery takes me completely out of the story. I am begging actresses to find a top notch dermatologist, follow a good skin care routine, and stay out of the plastic surgeon waiting rooms. You're not fooling anyone, WE CAN SEE YOU.

I watched about half an hour and couldn't continue; bad plot, bad acting, bad plastic surgery.  Anyone else sick and tired of those commercials for The Motherhood? I don't have kids, so I am not part of the show's demographic; but the commercials are a major turn-off, IMO.

I usually record the Hallmark movies on Sat. night and that way I can fast forward through the commercials. Egads, so true about The Motherhood ads and__ The Chicken Sisters, ugh.  Even when TCS was on the first time, (much less this 2nd time) hardly anyone responded here on  TCS thread.  The balloon movie last night was such a slog, agree, what is up with all the bad plastic surgery these days???

I made it through the balloon movie and that was a chore. First, McKenzie Westmore. What did she do to her face? I liked her as the host on Face Off, but the poor woman cannot act. But beyond that, I could not get over how poorly it was shot.  Were they only shooting with natural light? Gorgeous New Mexico scenery was washed out and overexposed. The scene with McKenzie and Paul Greene in the restaurant together, and the light flooding in the windows, were they supposed to be in heaven or something?

Second, speaking as someone roughly contemporary to her in age, McKenzie is definitely way too old to be acting the way she was (it didn't help that the face work added a few years). Rather than angling for the Big Promotion™ I would think she would be the one they are trying to force out for the young up-and-comer. Especially after we hear how her love interest has 30 years' experience with balloons (assuming he started out as a teenager, that would still put him near fifty).

Anyone else catch Love On The Danube :Love Song last night?  Loved the cinemaphotography ,looked like it was actually filmed in Europe and Budapest? Story was safe and enjoyable, kept waiting for the real romance to kick in ,everybody was being so nice to each other, lol. Catherine  Disher who played Betty Stephenson, stole every scene she was in. Especially enjoyed her singing duet with Pamela Sinha who played Julia. I'm not sure they were the actual singers, but they sounded great. They were accompanied by Nazneen Contractor on piano playing that hit song from the movie  Meet Me In St. Louis. Is  it "The Trolly Song" Judy Garland sang??? All in all,  it's worth a look

I enjoyed it too, One4, and the Betty character caught my eye as well.  I thought for a while she was going to end up with Andre, but didn't happen.  I did notice, or think I did, that she is in the previews for the next Danube movie, next week?  A continuing character in all three, maybe.

When they finally got around to the mother's song, it was pretty bland.  Was there more to  that 'performance' besides her singing part of one song?  Odd.  But, yep, about Betty.

I thought possibly Julia, the Mom, was going to blow it  starting the song and Betty was going to come up on stage to sing with her.  Does anyone know those were their actual singing voices??? Looking so forward to next week's Love On The Danube! More__ Betty !!!

One4, it seems to be you and me here this week!

I finally watched the second Danube Cruise one today, and have to say I liked Dan Jeannotte very much, as well as - of course - the scenery in Europe.

Could not get with the heroine in this one.  She seemed pretty generic, but needing a hair stylist badly.  And again, let's hear it for Betty!

They are sure spending a lot of money filming in Europe so much.  Probably they got a good deal with the ship, as it's virtually a 6 hour commercial for them.

Anybody else watching these very expensive pieces ??

Watched LotD:RG Sat. night. I kept hoping the Duke Joe  would tell  Ava who he was. So many missed opportunities. Why do the writers continue feeding us with the final 15 minute dramafest where one of the lead couple gets butthurt and decides to end any possible chance to hear the other one out. What an idiot. Once again Betty Stephenson steals every scene she's in ,and as always, is the voice of reason. Loved the scenery again.

I enjoyed it, Betty is a gem. I was hoping we'd get to see her romancing Joe's personal aide.  I thought Duke Joe was pretty darned cute, which is always a plus.  The premise of the whole movie was pretty shaky, but that's sort of a Hallmark tradition.

Yeah, I think he’s one of the better male leads. This weekend’s Danube movie with Sarah Power and Brendan Penny looks like they are a good duo.
Now that Peacock and Hallmark have parted ways, I no longer have the channel. Looks like I won’t be missing much with June’s offerings. I do not like Ashley Williams or Kevin McGarry. At least they’re in different movies.

I didn’t know that they had! That’s disappointing. I usually can’t watch the Friday/Saturday night movies live and watched them on Peacock. ☹️

Peacock’s replaced it with something called Peacock Romance Channel. Based on the movie descriptions, they look worse than Hallmark. That says a lot!

I haven’t seen the other Danube installments on Hallmark, but watched Kissing Stars tonight because of Sarah Powers and Brendan Penny.  I just like those two in general from other movies and shows they’ve done over the years.  I really enjoyed this one tonight, I think primarily because Sarah is not an ingenue and doesn’t for one moment try to be.  Brendan is an amiable co-star and I liked the story that he was, at heart, a Montana guy who wasn’t comfortable with the false hype, social media and selfie attention of his actor profession.  The scenery on the Danube and in the cities where they roamed was just stunning.  Her best friend was a super weak actress and her lips sure seemed full of recent filler which was distracting.  Why does Hallmark so often miss on casting the “college roommate” who seems to be a dramatically different age from their supposed roommate?  This one seemed much younger than Sarah and that bugged me.  Also the guy who put on the KissCon conference was close to comically bad, just on the edge of going over the line of just plain silly.  Those two stood out badly against Sarah and Brendan who are reliably good.  Catherine Disher is always a pleasure, and of course, I loved the Good Witch reunion of Sarah and Catherine.  I would watch again for Sarah, Brendan and the scenery.
