Looks like The Flash has come back down to earth, a bit in demo. The total viewership looks very down.

oops read that wrong, I though Arrow got a 0.4, getting 0.3 is still a decent start.

the 0.4 is most likely still flash overrun since sometimes the show dont start exactly on 9:00. For Flash its the series low in viewers. I think Flash is getting into 0.4 demo this year.

My annual reminder that the CW shows get most of their revenue from post-views (including streaming, international licenses, and DVD/Blu-ray sales) and not live views, so as fun as these ratings discussions are, they aren't the CW's main concern.

As proof, my annual pointing fingers at Dynasty, which as per CBS reports, has once again already pulled a profit in its third season despite airing only one episode.

I'm actually surprised. I thought 801 ratings would be higher because of the new time slot and Oliver's Crisis-connected story.

Looks like people who dont watch these shows, or watch some of them,  only care to tune in to the actual crossover, lol. There seem to be a tiny boost though, considering Arrow was getting in the 0,2 territory, later last season. Either its retaining some of the  Flash viewers or people interested in Crisis story are tuning in, is my guess.

Yeah, its very likely, it will be a long season. I thought the premiere was good , so I'm surprised they dropped so much in viewership.

One Chicago Kills With Deadly Crossover, Arrow Misses the Target And More In This Week’s TV Ratings

Arrow was the last of the fall Arrow-verse shows to premiere, with the first episode of its final season airing October 15 at 9 p.m. ET. Personally, I was more curious about Arrow's numbers than any of the other CW superhero shows. On the one hand, the original Arrow-verse show's numbers have been dwindling for years, but this was to be the highly-publicized final season and the Arrow-verse show with the most ties to the upcoming "Crisis on Infinite Earths" mega crossover. Arrow could theoretically get a nostalgia and "Crisis" bump for the Season 8 premiere, right?

Not so much, apparently. It was no surprise that Arrow came in last in its time slot, as this is a CW series we're talking about, but the numbers were unfortunate even by CW standards. With the Season 8 premiere, Arrow won a rating of 0.3 and an audience of 0.87 million. These numbers mark a ratings drop of more than 33% and a viewership drop of nearly 40%.

The Season 8 premiere, which I absolutely adored, was the least-watched Arrow-verse series this week, coming behind The Flash, Supergirl, and Batwoman. It tied with Supergirl and Batwoman in the ratings, but its numbers were particularly troubling due to the fact that this was premiere, and both ratings and viewership usually drop after a show's premiere week. Could Arrow circle the drain even further next week?

Well, at least Arrow wasn't The CW's superhero show with the worst numbers. Black Lightning, which will make its very first Arrow-verse connection in "Crisis," only won a rating of 0.2 and viewership of 0.63 million. I guess this explains why nobody else said "Hell yeah!" this week when I asked if they'd seen the Arrow premiere. Of course, it probably doesn't help that Arrow is up against NBC's This Is Us, CBS' FBI, Fox's Empire, and ABC's mixed-ish in the 9 p.m. ET Tuesday slot.

But still, come on, my fellow Arrow-verse fans! This is the last season!

A particularly interesting chart given the ongoing statements from CBS that Dynasty is one of the most profitable CW shows, and Nancy Drew (also a CBS product) had no problems getting a full series order.

I'm curious to see how tonight's episode of Arrow does in the ratings. On the one hand, last week's episode ended on that huge, shocking cliffhanger. On the other hand, ABC is airing a live production of Little Mermaid tonight (from 8:00pm - 10:00pm ET).

The drop is not Arrow specific. Flash lost 200k viewers and dropped in demo. More likely there was something else airing on another network that took away viewers, or it was the effect of the time change.

A certain papp is blaming Mia Smoak for Arrow's drop in ratings, even though The Flash also dropped about the same amount last night (see tables above) - making it more likely than not that the real culprits were ABC's Little Mermaid and Election Day (Nov. 5).

TV Ratings: ‘The Little Mermaid Live’ Makes Big Splash for ABC

ABC’s live (or semi-live) musical adaptation of “The Little Mermaid” made a splash in the TV ratings on Tuesday night.

The show scored a 2.6 rating among adults 18-49 and just under 9 million total viewers, solid numbers for a live TV musical. For comparison, Fox’s “Rent” live musical event only drew a 1.4 rating and 3.4 million total viewers back in January, and NBC’s “Jesus Christ Superstar Live” from 2018 drew slightly more viewers at a touch over 9 million, but a smaller rating at a 1.7. Last night’s performance featuring Auli’i Cravalho, Shaggy and Queen Latifah among others was the highest-rated made-for-TV musical on any network in almost four years (since Fox’s “Grease” aired in Jan. 2016).

In terms of U.S. elections, Kentucky and Mississippi had major gubernatorial races. Mississippi, Virginia and New Jersey had state legislative races. New York, Washington, Texas and Colorado had ballot measures up for a vote. And, last but not least, 39 states held elections for lower offices (like mayors, attorneys general, county executives, councilmen, district attorneys, etc.).

Even if it were storyline related, why would it be Mia specifically as opposed to people in general not liking the cliffhanger, which included all the characters equally? Or could in theory have been because people were bored by Thea or the LOA stuff or the more Diggle brother stuff. Why her specifically? Dislike flowing from fictional mother to fictional daughter?

Not that I think any of those were the reasons but the ones posted above about outside issues.

The Arrow-verse Is Up Before Crisis, The Masked Singer Slumps And More In This Week’s TV Ratings
Laura Hurley   December 6, 2019
https://www.cinemablend.com/television/2486275/the-arrow-verse-is-up-before-crisis-the-masked-singer-slumps-and-more-in-this-weeks-tv-ratings

The superheroes of The CW's Arrow-verse have had some major ups and downs throughout the 2019-2020 TV season so far, and I don't just mean battling bad guys. The ratings have been up and down all season, and even the best numbers haven't been all that great, which was something of a surprise considering the looming end of Arrow and the long-awaited "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover between Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman with a little Black Lightning thrown in.

With "Crisis" kicking off on Sunday, December 8 with Supergirl at 8 p.m. ET, the numbers of this past week could be a sign of how much audiences are actually interested in the crossover so massive that it's not even contained to The CW anymore. Fortunately, all five shows (and Black Lightning, which won't officially join the Arrow-verse until "Crisis") were up or at least even in ratings and/or viewership.
*  *  *
Finally, The Flash and Arrow on Tuesday night turned in respectable numbers as well, with The Flash in the 8 p.m. ET hour jumping 25% for 0.5 rating and nearly 14% for 1.33 million for an improvement over the trend from last week. As for Arrow, its final episode ever before The Monitor collects on his deal with Oliver held steady with 0.3 rating and got a nearly 6% boost in viewership with an audience of 0.83 million.
