It was strange they went to the trouble of giving Max an identical twin, and really did very little with it when the characters were together.  I'm not saying I needed them to be at odds or anything, it just seemed like they could have gone a number of ways with it, and really didn't do much.  

And seriously, did three different men this episode essentially declare their love for Avery?  The Max/Avery/Tristan triangle isn't as interesting as the writers think it is.

And then Tristan basically dumps Vivian in bed when he tells her about his feelings for Avery.

I think this episode is their lead up to the ending if it's not renewed.  Max can go home and head up that hospital, Avery goes to med school, and Tristan... well, I don't know, either follows her or stays on the ship.  But if the show is picked up for a second season, ho - surprise!  Everyone decides to stay on the ship.  

Max's twin was there for one purpose - to psycho-analyze him in 30 seconds while they sat in the living room.  Corny and rushed, but he served his purpose.  

I actually thought this was one of the better episodes, though it didn't fit the description?  I didn't hear Tristan reveal Avery's secret to Vivian, and I don't think compartment syndrome is something that Rosie was hiding... Did I miss both of those?

Well if so I hope a) she's been getting paid well, and b) she's been putting away some money. Spumor has it this show might be getting cancelled despite its ratings being the highest among ABC dramas.

Re Hamilton, OMG, you should try to see the taped version of the original cast production. I think it's still on Disney+. Unfortunately, Disney is not releasing it on DVD yet so public libraries can get it for their patrons.

I saw Hamilton when the road shows began after Chicago and one other town had their run.

I am 80 yrs old and the production I saw was the best b'way show I have ever seen!  The cast was simply outstanding.  I have never seen such crisp dancing or coordination and I have seen a lot of musicals.

I can understand why it is not for everyone, but I found it beyond fabulous.

The sound and lyrics and singing were so well done that this old lady had no trouble following everything.

FYI My second favorite b'way musical is Chicago.

Came here to say that this show is terrible and I can’t stop watching it!

Rosie may be my favourite character, if Munroe can quickly recover from his foot thing, so can Rosie! And since no one on this show is allowed to be happily single, could the writers please find a nice lady for her ? Although Rosie may be falling for Avery because everyone else is.

I'm so tired of the endless triangle of Avery/Max/Tristan.  If this show gets cancelled, at least that triangle will get cancelled too.

So glad to see Vivian.  It seems like she and Tristan never took a break, they've just been "having fun" (as he puts it) all along, even through the whole pregnancy thing and Tristan declaring he is all in for Avery?  Ok.

Why do crew members still have to wear their dress uniforms when it is a crew-only week.  Couldn't they make an exception and allow people to wear casual clothes for a week?  Like when kids at Catholic school don't have to wear the uniform and can wear whatever they want for picture day.

The purpose of the identical twin was 1) "oh cool, the actor is playing both of them!" and 2) to give a speech that makes Max realise he would give everything up for Avery.  If Avery decides to give up medical school because of Max then I don't know if I would be back for a second season even if this show doesn't get cancelled.

Pretty sure that Munroe indicated that they slept together.  Avery said "that was only one time".  We have seen Munroe many times this season and that has never come up at all.  But of course, on an episode designed to showcase that Avery is the greatest woman in the world, it got revealed.
