I'm not convinced that there ever WAS a job offer.  What if he just told him mom and girlfriend that to make him sound like he's actually out there, doing interviews?  Because I can't think of a good reason why he would turn down a state job if he's working that hard trying to find work!

Jordan is acting like a bitch. That’s a conversation she should have with him in private. It’s not really any of her business, but she could have easily had that conversation in private. Jordan is the one who makes things more uncomfortable for everyone.  But she doesn’t like being called a snake.

It's been delightful, even though the amount of upper case letters in my posts may have indicated my rising blood pressure and agita on several occasions. But I laughed lots, too. See you all tomorrow at the not so Last Resort Tell Nothing. I can't wait to hear the full context of Rob the Knob calling Jasmine a whore to her face. With our luck, it will probably be in the second part of this endless saga.

At MIT my boss had visiting students from the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris every year. One year we had an especially delightful lad named Lucien. When he and his fellow visitor came by to say good bye at the end of their term, I asked "Can I hug you?" because he was such an adorable lad and I'd really miss him. And he responded with a huge grin and an enthusiastic "YES! American!" I've never forgotten that. I guess the French aren't as huggy as Americans are. 

They do the kiss on both cheeks thing instead.
