ZettaK January 5 Share January 5 Wendy takes the group to Panama City for some fun with rum; Stacey continues to try and win over her roommate, Gizelle; as the nightly festivities continue, a few of the ladies unload on Mia about unresolved issues. I think Mia is gross. Her whole storyline sounds like it could go seriously wrong in a tragic way. Having the guy you are cheating on your husband with on the show is beyond sticking in the knife and twisting it in your husband's back. Although these reality shows are scripted 90% of the time, Gordon's anger is very real and you don't just keep poking the bear without it eventually turning and biting you back. She tells the world that he's lost his business (which I think is the main reason she's divorcing him) and is losing his wife, but acts like he doesn't have a right to be angry. I feel for her children having a fked up mother like her. Edited January 6 by swankie Finally remembered Mia's husband's name. 🤣 4 7 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151317-s9e13-rum-ble-in-the-jungle/#findComment-8547656
dancingdreamer January 6 Share January 6 Mia is so screwed up, her children should maybe live elsewhere. I would of been out of my mind with worry, and on the next plane to them. I love how Gizelle orders for Karen, they are a little like an old married couple.lol Stacey looked gorgeous in her confessional, please get away from Whatshisface. 10 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151317-s9e13-rum-ble-in-the-jungle/#findComment-8547682
Chatty Cake January 6 Share January 6 Mia can’t have it both ways. Either you are worried for your children and you leave to go get them or you shut up. If she was that worried, she would have left. Instead she decided to stay, drink and complain about Gordon. Ashley was making sense about her not leaving but then she brought up Mia and Jacqueline sharing Inc. Ashley needs to stop. She’s mentioned her own threesomes with Michael. 4 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151317-s9e13-rum-ble-in-the-jungle/#findComment-8547702

Keywestclubkid January 6 Share January 6 (edited) Mia, nothing about this "story-line" feels real .. I'm sorry you don't know where your kids are and you just chill at the hotel? and her sidekick Jacqueline being her "voice" and explains things to the girls about Mia like she isn't sitting/standing right there and NO prob with speaking for herself is getting OLD OLD OLD ... Like why is she speaking up anyway YOU ARNT Mia .. like STFU and sit down it feels planed out and staged for the camera and not authentic.. NessMess January 6 Share January 6 These women prancing around like it's fun to get catcalled by men in a foreign country. Especially Wendy, I'm looking at you. Your 4 degrees didn't give you any common sense, obviously. drivethroo January 6 Share January 6 Ashley is trying to get her money's worth out of her baskeballs. You know, if Candiace had insinuated Gizelle's daughters were sneaky hoes, Gizelle wouldn't be sitting there slow and delayed like she is with Mia. Karen's wig was sitting in the back of her skull like it was in that body cam video. Ashley & Gizelle looked disgusted Keiarna was suing Sesame Street ...I'm quite sure they would have no problem with Sesame Street suing Candiace just as they expressed no concern about Michael suing Candiace (obviously Ashley couldn't comment). NowVoyager January 6 Share January 6 Logistically, Mia may not have been able to quickly hop on a flight to go check on her children: the resort was a two hour drive from the airport, available flights may have been limited, etc. However, what I did not understand is how the situation was resolved without Mia speaking to her children... make it make sense, Mia/editors! 13 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151317-s9e13-rum-ble-in-the-jungle/#findComment-8547857

Marley January 6 Share January 6 (edited) Wendy is doing a good job hosting the trip so far. Other than the stupid room stuff at the beginning but I’m sure that’s a producer thing. They seem to think room shenanigans are just so entertaining. They are not. Mia is such a liar I can’t stand her. That whole panic attack shit was so fake. She needs to stop with the Gordon stuff I feel bad for her kids. Inc seems like a loser too. Jacqueline sucks. Such a try hard. Mia’s comparison with Gizelle’s kids makes no sense & she needs to shut the fuck up about it. Ashley’s face when they are talking about stupid Deborah makes me laugh. At least Erika Jayne had that iconic scene when she deliberately didn't wear waterproof mascara and had black running down her cheeks in her discussion with Kyle. 1 11 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151317-s9e13-rum-ble-in-the-jungle/#findComment-8548002

She could have at least made a cryangle ala Candiace. Wendy is fluff at this point, she had a story with her wanting to tell her mother she wanted to back away from teaching, (she has been saying that since 2020 and told her mother back then), so she dregs up the need to have a big talk again, still not riveting. Ashley does not have a storyline except her trying to put her brand new huge boobs in to tiny little tops. Gizelle is also without a storyline, her being so calm about her daughters hoeing around or to hear Mia tell it, Gizelle could have retorted with "it takes one to know one," and it would have been fitting. Karen is the one with the storyline but it can't be fodder because of her ongoing legal issues. She has got to find a way to monetize that bodycam footage, it's gold Jerry, gold!!! Dark comedy but still gold. Does anyone else wonder if Ray went out and bought another fancy sports car for Karen or are they using the insurance money for her legal defense? 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151317-s9e13-rum-ble-in-the-jungle/#findComment-8548042

I don't think every housewife needs a "story" if they bring it in some other way and/or aren't annoyingly hypocritical. I find Gizelle amusing and so I don't care what her "story" is. Her interactions with her girls are charming and lovely and frankly her stories are terrible - like that awful guy she was "dating" some seasons back. I remember a painful picnic or the ridiculousness of getting together with Jamal and the insanity of the restaurant he gave the girls. On the other hand the visit to the plantation with her father a few seasons ago was very moving although it's not a story. Robyn was just infuriating and boring. She might have had a story but not only didn't she deal with her true reality she actively lied about it - and then put it behind a paywall. Maybe the Grande Dame will do a podcast after stonewalling through the Reunion and charge people to hear how she feels after viewing herself on the police cam. Mia is playing three card monte with her life and expecting everyone to not remember what she said or did the day before. Very Trumpian :-) 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151317-s9e13-rum-ble-in-the-jungle/#findComment-8548764

When the “nanny’s” daughter got on the phone, even with her voice disguised, you can still tell she was annoyed, like “yeah dummy your kids are with my mom, which you already knew!” The question is WHY??? Why pretend you don’t know where your kids are? Mia is putting this out in the world, to what end? The fact that she fancies herself some kind of “new age family” pioneer, with her husband and boyfriend getting along, only to have it all crumble because OF COURSE YOUR HUSBAND IS GOING CRAZY! You left him because he went broke. And you act like it’s normal to trot out your tiny little boyfriend. On 1/6/2025 at 1:48 PM, Marley said: Wendy is doing a good job hosting the trip so far. ZettaK January 8 Author Share January 8 Mia wanted to trash Gordon again, that he is unstable, and wanted to abduct her children, and get sympathy for herself at the same time. She wanted to divorce him after he lost his company, but she was fine with being married to him, and cheating on him (with mostly Inc) when he was well-off. 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151317-s9e13-rum-ble-in-the-jungle/#findComment-8549264
Sweet-tea January 12 Share January 12 I hope Potomac isn't going the way of NJ. I like it but I noticed there are only about 20 comments on this forum vs. over 100 on the RHBH forum. Mia seems volatile. I wish she wasn't featured so much in this season. I found her reactions about Gordon and the kids confusing, as we never saw her actually speak to her children. Instead she made herself out to be the victim, especially with the panic attack. 3 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151317-s9e13-rum-ble-in-the-jungle/#findComment-8552350

The OC and Beverly Hills forums had/have tons of comments. The current season of the OC which just aired had the best ratings in five years, by far. Beverly Hills had great ratings last year. I didn't check this year's yet- I might. This season of Potomac is kind of boring, and the new women are not too interesting. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151317-s9e13-rum-ble-in-the-jungle/#findComment-8552506
