I am always whinging about that. I mean my God, go to the grocery store and see what's there! Join a CSA! They're everywhere these days. I get a CSA from a small local farm and its fun to try new things and think of ways to use what we get every week. I know a lot of these folks don't live near a city and maybe Walmart is the only game in town, but even Walmart has more than iceberg lettuce on offer in the produce department, doesn't it? Sheesh.

You absolutely should if you can. I lost 40 lbs twenty years ago and then was plateaued for years. I went to the gym four or five days a week but my glucose was always high and I couldn't lose a pound. Went on ozempic a year ago and btw the drug and my regular exercise routine I lost 40 more pounds and my A1c is down to pre-diabetic levels. You should advocate for it and hopefully it will work for you too!

There are some spas and even online that offer semiglutide at much less money than I was paying for it. It may be worth looking around your area to see what's available. I see ads from Hers that also offer the drug.

I don't have any health issues at all, except maybe borderline cholesterol. So if I were to get it it would strictly be to try to kick start some weight loss. I wouldn't mind, though I'm pretty happy with what I've managed to do so far.

I get 95% of my groceries delivered from Walmart. I can get almost everything I want, from fruits & veg, to imported goods. Some come from my local store, some are shipped. You can eat a fantastic diet right from Walmart if you make the effort. You can also eat a lot of crap, if that's your choice. I buy grass-fed hamburger from Walmart, but no other meat. It's a me thing. I order my meat  from a purveyor. I'm in a town of about 70K now, but moved from a town of 20K and still got an amazing variety of food from Walmart.

Well sounds like therapy did help her finally 'get it' and she is losing it.  She was not a nasty person, just delusional, so I hope she can sustain her weight loss.  I wouldn't mind an update on her, though it wasn't a particularly exciting episode.

I get most of my meat from Walden Local, delivered right to my door every other month, its great. All organic, grass fed, locally produced. Though I do get boneless chicken breast at Market Basket because I eat so much of it. Twenty weeks a year we have a CSA and its like Christmas every week. "What'd we get? Oooh, arugula! Yay, radishes! Oh God, more chard!" Its fun. There is no reason why anyone should be gnawing glumly solely on iceberg lettuce these days.
