I think I liked this one better than any episode of the series I have seen so far. It seemed to flow pretty well. The only thing I didn't like was they let the lady with the gun, keep the gun, while they went on doing their own thing, like she was no longer a threat or a crazy killer.

I never watched this before. Is it always so stilted?  It's like the actors are having a hard time remembering their lines or understand how human conversation actually works. One person says a line, there's a long pause, the next actor says a line, there's a long pause.... It's very unsettling. It didn't help that the episode was set in a weirdly sterile environment - I realize it was supposed to be an upscale corporate retreat and all but it was so oddly artificial and perfect, like a stage set.

The whole thing was weird to me.  It all felt other planet-y, like it was produced off world by aliens who didn't quite have the mannerisms and setting of Earth quite right.

I will continue to watch but the writers really need to up their game.  And are Colter and Renie in junior high?  I like both characters but their “ banter “ was embarrassing.

I believe Colter and Renie have a romantic past that was hinted in the first season.

And yet, this is the most watched scripted show on TV and this was it's best episode. Go figure.

There were reasons for the long pauses and stilted, awkward behavior. Renie and Colter have been a casual couple. For her to call on his skills and for him to find her with a date (she tried to minimize it by calling him a plus one) was unexpected (both professionally and personally). Besides, this season, the writers have changed the professional relationship-Renie has quit her job to hang out her own shingle and is sharing office space with one of Colter’s main resources.

That said, Michael Rady!

Well, that escalated quickly towards the end. Nice convoluted plot with some good red herrings. Also: great landscape porn. My only quibble:  Geez, Colter stop (literally) handling body parts ! You always got phone and gun with you, a pair of gloves would certainly fit in your pocket too!!!

Horny Reenie is back!!! Errr, that’s what I call her. 🤣

Ehh, that Head of Security (Reynolds) was the deceased Agent Trevor Hobbs from FBI. It’s nice to see him again.

WRITERS: “Let’s give Jesse Pardue a Fargo treatment.” 😬

As soon as he mentioned Chekhov's Wood Chipper, I said to myself, "This isn't going to end well.

Colter and Reenie have been dancing around each other.  She seemed more interested than him last season.  This season he slept with someone we’d never seen before.  He seems interested in Billie.  Reenie seems to have backed off.  Colter gave his brother Russell permission to ask her out.  Reenie had a plus 1 and is unavailable.  So now Colter’s interested.  Classic teenage attitude.

I'm with you 100% I really like the show but Renie Net and Colter don't act their age when they interact with each other. Networks are known for forcing writers to add unnecessary romances so that could explain it.

The episode was decent, interesting plot but the ending felt a little rushed, the bad guy went from normal bad guy to full evil really fast, I don't know the lady decided to shoot him but I appreciate the Fargo nod.

Glad some of y'all enjoyed it, but I might be taking a break from the show. Not that this needs to be sunshine and jokes all the time, but let me know when it's less of a downer. I'm tired of Colter somehow stumbling onto yet another crime and/or murder conspiracy every single week. Especially since he's supposedly not even in law enforcement.

(I realize this is a 'me' problem; I guess I'm tired of "murder-of-the-week" shows. But also, I didn't think this was a MOTW show before, but I guess that's what TPTB want it to be.)

It's not just you, it feels like the same formula every single week, and it's soooo over the top with what Colter stumbles on to each week. I can only suspend disbelief for so long. Then again, Colter is easy on the eyes so there's that.

As a fan of This Is Us, it can be tough watching Justin Hartley in this because he was able to show a lot of range in TIU, and this role is much more one-dimensional.

Thank you for the name. I knew he looked familiar, so I went to IMDB. I think the only things I've seen him in were The Resident, New Amsterdam, UNReal, and Jane the Virgin. The latter two are probably the big ones for me since he appeared in multiple eps.

This show doesn't have much going for it, imo, but it's something my sister and I can watch together. (We don't always have the same tastes.)

I was very distracted by the location. I've been to Napa (a long time ago), but I had the sense that this wasn't actually filmed there. It didn't look quite right. Would anyone here know?

I had to check, but it turns out Tracker (like so many shows) is filmed in Vancouver.  The article I read said:

"La Stella Winery in Osoyoos, British Columbia, served as one of the scenic filming locations for Tracker Season 2. Nestled in Canada's Okanagan Valley, this winery is surrounded by stunning landscapes, including vineyards, hills, and lakes, which add a picturesque backdrop to the show's scenes."

I’ve never watched any of those, but he’s been in 12 or 13 Hallmark movies (some of the better plots), some major hollyrude movies, and has appeared in many network dramas. Yet, I continue to confuse his face with David Alpay.

Yes, looking at his IMDB page I understood that I haven't seen most of his stuff, and figured out those shows/movies were what he was most known for.

What is a hollyrude movie?

I do notice they're not flashing his abs at us as much so far this season.

More’s the pity.  seriously, I agree. Although I wouldn’t complain about seeing his abs again 🤣
