Nandor vacuuming the desks was slaying me. And Nadja continues to slay with her Working Girl look. And her and Laszlo's matching outfits.

Jordan is an ass, so of course Gizmo accidentally calls him "Master." He's starting to realize that being the familiar to literal vampires is way better than being the underling to a corporate overlord. I felt so bad for Nandor in this one. And he quit the documentary?! Oh shit. But next week's preview shows it's not the last we'll see of him.

We finally got to see the railroad Laszlo and Colin work at! Which is, of course, fake. Loved seeing Sean-nie again. I was dying at Monster interviewing him.

Time to merge elements introduced in the first two episodes. Well, just Cannon Capital and the Monster. Jerry gets to watch the episode after his cold open. Maybe he can get Nandor's attention now that the elder vampire has free time. I'm thinking "Ms. The Guide" would be exhausting to be around by himself.

Gizmo is immune from vampire hypnosis after at least a decade of exposure. Sean is subjected to six years to that, and he's barely coherent. Seems fair. Hey, I'm happy Anthony Atamanuik was able to find a good role after he played a real-life figure on a Comedy Central show 6-7 years ago. We get Laszlo and Colin Robinson teaming up again to try and help Sean, but it backfires when the (The?) Monster gives him a position at the railroad company that doesn't exist.

Meanwhile, Nandor gets what's left of his heart stabbed by Guillermo, who is forced to fire him as a janitor. Poor guy. I liked his attempt at trying to hide from the other workers. Hypnosis probably would have solved all his problems, but the show didn't resort to that. That's a good thing. Also, Nadja doesn't wear out her welcome just yet, and she gets Cannon Capital to buy the floor that her husband and Colin Robinson were using for their fake train company.

Tim Heidecker has not worn out his welcome. Yet.

I think it's really interesting that Nandor and Nadja have been openly saying they want to be there to help Guillermo. That alone is a real pride-swallow/shift for both of them. And I do wonder why Guillermo climbed the corporate ladder in two weeks. Hypnosis?

Sean is the best. Lazlo caring about his friendship is also the best.

None of our friends care about taking over the world, either.

Guillermo failed at being a vampire. And our crew is becoming a little more human.

Even if they have accumulated a bodycount throughout the years that can probably fill up an entire state or country, the vampire gang is still somehow less toxic than the financial bros.  Even after some of the shit Guillermo had to do as Nandor's familiar, I still feel like it's wrong watching him basically have to be this Jordan guy's yes man.  This show is so insane!

Can't remember if they ever brought up what the gang would be telling everyone their "job" was due to their weird hours, so it being a railroad was a fun idea.  And then them having to scramble to build an office for it in order to try and help out Sean!  Great seeing him again.  I really do like his friendship with them: especially Laszlo.  You can buy that in his own weird way, Laszlo really does care for him and wants to do right by him.  Even if they hypnotized him to the point that he's almost brain dead.  At least he isn't doing that anymore!

Jerry is back to wanting to take over the country/world again, but as of now, the rest of the gang don't seem quite interested in going forward with that.

You just know The Monster will eventually cause some kind of chaos and Colin will act like he has no fault in it whatsoever!

Nandor might be cutting ties with the documentary?  Doubt it will last long, but I continue to like how we are getting more scenes like this where the gang interacts with the film crew.  I think it will end up being a big factor come finale time.

Yes, right away you could see he knew what was going on. He is better off with Nandor and the rest. The corporate world is worse.

Not sure if it was intentional, but that whole setup with the “office” and the actors reminded me of The Sting

Jerry and The Guide seem to have modified their plans to conquer the New World to first just conquer the Tristate area. Which sounds like a possibility! 😀

They just have to watch out for any platypuses trying to stop them.

I'm starting to think that Jordan will start dangling a promotion in front of Guillermo and just never give it to him.

Hasn't Nadja just been murdering people so that Guillermo can climb the ladder? Isn't that why she was so offended when he was talking about his success. And the murdering kind of works in this situation, since is probably a job where a lot of people just burn out. And the financial types they have shown are probably seem super self-centered and probably don't notice or care when someone is gone.

Gizmo has those Van Helsing genes which probably help him out there.

The railroad has been their cover for a while.

They should collab with Dr. Doofenshmirtz, though then they might have to deal with a Platapus.

Well yeah and manufacturing situations for Gizmo to shine. We had a few of those last week and even one this week.

She is really good at manipulating office politics, it turns out.

I can't get enough of watching Nandor clean. Dumping trash from waste baskets into the big trashcan then dropping the waste baskets in, too. Spraying coffee mugs with cleaner then dabbing them with the roll of paper towels. Everything he does with a roll of paper towels. Just great. I'm sorry Guillermo was forced to fire him. Has Guillermo always shaken hands weird?

Jordan has to just be using Guillermo. I don't think he has any intentional of giving him a real, responsibility-filled promotion. The rest of the staff don't think much of him either. I believe they all see him as their pet monkey.

Loved when the office was cheering their latest acquisition, and Nadja joined in by shouting, "Business!"

I also love Sean. What a great character, and it's so sweet how much Laszlo likes him. I had forgotten about them working at The Railroad.

Colin: The Railroad is a great company.

That whole fake office was outstanding. I'm sure I missed a lot of stuff going on. I did see one woman holding two phones to her ears. And there was even a fake Nandor!

The way Sean pronounced 'resumé' like 'resume' was perfect.

The interview with "Mr Smith" was so funny. The Monster did pretty good playing his part. Loved how Laszlo was standing by with the taser. (Or was it a cattle prod?)

Cannon Capital is the worst, but I'm eager to see what happens with them.

Nadja: Insolent little shed-dweller!

I am really enjoying business Nadja!  I love watching her push Guillermo up the corporate ladder.  But, he better be careful about not appreciating her help as I think this could go really wrong really fast.

I also really enjoyed Nandor's janitorial job and am sorry he was fired.  He was so excited to be making what he thought were friends.

This might've been the first time he shook hands with Nandor. I don't think Nandor knows how to shake hands.

Another twist of the knife was this was the time Nandor finally told Gizmo he was proud of him.

Oh man I didn't even catch Fake Nandor. I need to see it again. (I caught up on American Dad instead)

Also Nandor showing again why he was such a great military leader. You want to discourage non-sexual fraternisation between the men. That's just going to give them ideas. You want them sexually satisfied but not talking too much. That's the key to keeping power.

I thought Nandor's hand looked normal, but Guillermo's hand was just barely placed in Nandor's palm. I'm just not sure what it was supposed to mean.

Sean's increasing befuddlement this episode made me remember one of my favorite scenes from the era of little Colin, when they were interviewing to get him into private school, and they kept hypnotizing the principal and Sean over, and over, and over.  He's survived longer than the principal.

I don't like the implication that Guillermo did something wrong by firing Nandor. Yes, Nandor is his friend, and he didn't want to fire him. But Nandor genuinely did suck at the job and doesn't rely on it the way that Guillermo relies on a job for income. I don't know. I'm glad that Guillermo did it--he needs to look out for his own interests, too.

I thought it was hilarious when Sean came downstairs into the lab and there were two arms hanging from the ceiling in chains right in front of him and he never even noticed.

The monster continues to be my favorite part of this season. Using him as "Mr. Smith" was genius.

I didn't notice either! But hey, it was a laundry room!

First of all, I love that Lazslo and Colin Robinson's idea of how to look like a railroad mainly involved putting model trains everywhere and having people wear conductor hats. That whole plot was hilarious and also weirdly sweet, Lazslo really does care about people in his very strange way.

Whenever I hear Jerry talking about taking over the tri-state area, all I can hear is Dr. Doofenshmirtz. The vampires better watch themselves, Perry the Platypus might get involved!

So Guillerlmo went from working for actual vampires to corporate vampires.

And one of the monster's hands is clearly from a Black person.

Various part of him are, actually. When Laszlo was pulling him apart in episode 2 some parts of his arms and legs were white and some were black.
