I feel bad for Meri, and I get why she needed him to tell her it was over to her face, but I don't get why she didn't know it was over, inside (or maybe didn't let herself know it was over).

When your husband has two other wives, and gets them Christmas presents, but doesn't get anything for you, he is telling you he doesn't love you. (This was way before Robyn.)

When he melts down the wedding ring you gave him, it's more than that he doesn't love you. He is telling you how much contempt he has for you and your union. (Robyn was on the scene by then, but not married to Kody.)

I feel bad for her too. I just can't get over how she didn't see the signs, they were as big as billboards. Christine didn't fool herself. Meri is still fooling herself. If I were her I'd be angry. Christine got angry. Meri has low self esteem.

A knight with a sword? LOL

Kody and Robyn's "date" - 🤮

Didn't he "knight" or something Caleb with a sword during Maddie and Caleb's wedding! King Kody 🤮

Oh snap! I missed Kody's comment while hugging Meri on moving day..."You have permission to move on." What an a$$!!! Then nerve of that jerk!

Meri should write that book. Married Once, Divorced Twice is too good of a title to pass up.

SPARE ME Robyn saying she has been gaslit (in the previews), especially considering how she treated Meri during the strict Covid protocol days.

Meri sat alone in that house, seeing NO ONE. Even Kody was asking Robyn, "Why can't Meri come over, since she's isolating?" To Meri's face, Robyn would blame Kody. To Kody's face, Robyn would say Janelle and Christine would get upset if Kody and Robyn visited with Meri.

I don't usually blame Robyn for family troubles, because I think that excuses Kody, when no matter what she did or did not demand, he favored her; he put up with it, kowtowed to it, and let it dictate how he treated his other wives and children. The way she treated Meri during Covid was inexcusable though.

And once Robyn was finally called out on camera about it, she let Meri come over and visit -- Robyn's kids were thrilled to see her.

I hadn't thought about that, but that must be a knife in his other kidney for Kody to know that his kids with Robyn really love Meri!!  He'll lie enough to them in time to change their minds, I'm sure.

This is killing  me to admit but I totally get Kody's reaction to Aurora and Breanna wanting to go to church and his apprehension.  I was for many years involved in a cult and when my grown son recently mentioned he was going to some church with his fiancee I totally freaked inside. I had so many questions. Fortunately both he and she were understanding about it and things seem okay and we've always been very clear about he gets to choose his life, not me. I had my turn, now it's his  But that internal alarm and fear I totally get. It's way real.

I love the Meri scenes. Watching her process her reality and seeing what great friends she has is encouraging. I wish her all the best.

Christine is so happy and watching everyone who matters to her be happy for her is wonderful. Yes, it's tiresome to watch all the time but the reality of it makes me happy for her and I don't begrudge her the delight in all the things she never had and really missed. She gets them now.

The Kody/Robyn date was hard to watch. They do seem to be happy with each other's company.  I did cringe when Kody said that 'all of his kids' come to him regarding church etc and was confused until I realized that 'all' meant Robyn's kids. He was not meaning the OG kids.  That was heartbreaking and infuriating. He just keeps topping himself in his assholery. I don't know why that keeps surprising me.

So Robyn is dragging the girls  to meet pastors without attending services for a few weeks first?   That’s not how I’ve ever seen it done.  Go attend the church and see what you think- then sit down with the pastors.

Yessss! That is the way to do it. They can talk a good story beforehand but what they really represent comes out in a service and from the other parishioners.

I'm a few minutes behind. Did anyone say what kind of church this was? He said "interdenominational" but I didn't hear the name of the church.

Gawd, how many times can they go over the same old crap???

It’s The Common Church in Flagstaff… nondenominational progressive.  Definitely not Robyn’s comfort zone.  No idea why she just didn’t look at the website first.

I just can't believe Meri didn't realize Kody was completely done with her when he legally divorced her. She admitted that there was already no real relationship between them so why did she always talk about still having a "spiritual marriage" with him? I always thought she was either deluding herself or lying about that for the show.

Probably some of both!  Look how long she hung on/around hoping.  I'm sure glad she finally woke up and realized there was nothing there for her.

I think it's possible that Aurora and/or Breanna had already been checking out churches, when Robyn contrived this visit to meet the pastors.

I don't love that dress on her. It's miles better than the first one but she really needed to define her waistline.

I think "no waist" was one feature Christine mentioned wanting. I think a couple of things are going on. First, I don't think she understands how to dress her body. She looks great (particularly for a 50-year-old who carried six pregnancies to term), but she doesn't maybe know that, yet.

Second, I think Kody made her feel undesirable for so long, that now that David clearly desires her, Christine wants to look "sexy," but she grew up (and well into adulthood) in a cult with particular modesty dictates, so her idea of sexy isn't much more nuanced than a teenaged boy's would be, i.e. "tight and low-cut."

I agree with you in general but I don't get why she would want a no-waist dress when that was what was wrong with her first dress, lol. But yeah, when women are self conscious about their midsection they think they need to hide it when it's their body dysmorphia that's making them think that.

I knew a Davenport from Seattle once. I wonder why Meri didn't want to go back to her maiden name.

I like Meri's party too!

That's the name that Jenn put on the joke-y Christmas ornament last year. I don't know if Meri will ever even change her name. I do think it's a little weird if she doesn't go back to her maiden name, because I'm pretty sure she adored her dad.

That was Aurora (the older girl) crying.

I'm sure Robyn was sold on this church as soon as she learned that Sunday services start at 4:30pm. 😆

I don't know how K with 18 kids can with a straight face get into a 2 seat car. I don't care if he won it or not.A

A colleague of mine won a Jeep, but traded it in for a boring sedan that would be easier for his wife (who had polio as a child) to get in and out of and also have room for the grown kids or friends in back. A real family man.
