Rodney August 8 Share August 8 America's replacement nominee is chosen. Then, the three nominees compete in the second AI Arena Competition. The winner is safe from eviction. One of the remaining two houseguests becomes the third houseguest evicted. Link to comment
Rodney August 9 Author Share August 9 (edited) Well, at least Tucker didn't pay for his big risk, but let's be honest. Most of the houseguests are stupid. Even Quinn was right that keeping him was dumb. But the Collective and the Pentagon were too loyal to them, even after he lied to him for so long. Edited August 9 by Rodney 1 2 Link to comment
rachel1496 August 9 Share August 9 Tucker’s plan might not have been as big of a failure if Quinn wasn’t left sitting next to a guy who has been begging people to send him home for weeks now. Getting Quinn out would have been the better game move but making Kenney stay probably felt cruel at this point. 7 Link to comment
mojoween August 9 Share August 9 Joseph called her Chenbot TO HER FACE. 😮 Can’t wait for Tucker to watch this back and hear Cedric say “you don’t have the votes. You’re gonna need congressional approval cuz you don’t have the votes!” Tucker wants to be Zach SO BAD. Tucker, you cannot hold a Froot Loop to Zach, and I didn’t even like him all that much. 5 1 11 1 Link to comment
argrow August 9 Share August 9 (edited) All that craziness just for a Kenney eviction. But quitting and not caring when things don't go your way is the most cop thing ever. Like Kenney on BB. And police forces everywhere. And while the twist has caused all these drama, this next week will probably come to a crawl now that Quinn is the defacto HOH. Though with Tucker and Angela still in the house, maybe the crazy will still win out. Edited August 9 by argrow 1 1 Link to comment

North of Eden August 9 Share August 9 (edited) Yeah well, I 100% called it in last night's thread. Forget all the fireworks and drama....Kenny was ALWAYS going home tonight. So, everything really amounted to a whole lot of nothing but of course now everyone lets Quinn keep his power for some reason and Tucker should have DOA stamped on his forehead. I swear Julie was THIS close to asking Kenny why he wasted a spot that someone else would have relished. F-You Joe-Pornstache, low-rent Freddie Mercury...Chenbot TM is exclusively for internet forum use and frankly it was downrighit rude to call her that to her face. Wasted segment of non-entities who had zero percent danger of ever going on the block worrying it could be them. Block voting is boring no matter what the reality show. I remember the first week there was speculation the AI third nominee would end this but it seems not to be the case. We now join our regularly scheduled pagonging already in progress with the addition of Tucker to the lineup of next boots of MJ, Leah and Angela (if she is no longer useful to CBS) and then...only then will we get to the house wide alliance turning on themselves. Sounds like slog. Edited August 9 by North of Eden 6 1 Link to comment

30 Helens August 9 Share August 9 I have about as much compassion for BB players missing their loved ones as I have for Survivor players missing their loved ones. You knew you were going to spend a certain amount of time apart; how did that not factor into your decision to sign up? While we were watching, my husband and I decided we'd be fine with leaving each other for a few months. It's not like it's forever. (Him: "For 3/4 of a million dollars? Hell, yeah!" To be clear, I was not offended.) I don't know why people don't consider the separation before signing up. I can't say I'm sorry that Kenney's whiney ass is gone, but I would have preferred a blindside of Quinn's smug face, with its sad wispy moustache. He needs to consult with Joseph on how to grow some real villain facial hair. (Even though Joseph is not actually a villain-- or any character at all, really.) I'd ask what Tucker was trying to prove with his ridiculous Mohawk and nail styling, but I don't want to give it that much attention. Which I'm sure is what he wants. (Props on figuring out how to gather those balls in a corner, though. The others are right to worry about him as an adaptive comp beast.) 9 3 2 Link to comment

iMonrey August 9 Share August 9 In Victorian England, one could go to the local madhouse and, for a small fee, go inside and look at the mental patients locked up in cages for entertainment, like a demented freak show. That's kind of how I feel watching a HG like Angela. There is something seriously wrong with her and I feel dirty and uncomfortable watching her for "entertainment." Someone should make a list of all the stupid alliance names that have been invented on this show since it first began. They must number well into the 100s by now. 7 Link to comment

Stuck in that house with Tucker, Joseph and Angela, I'd be yelling let me out! Kenney’s current (2nd+ marriage?) crop of children were 1 and 3 years old when he first started applying for BB 5 years ago, which meant that had his initial applications been accepted Kenney would’ve been looking at an extended absence from a baby and a toddler; not optimal by any means, but unlikely at that age to leave any significant negative impact or memory upon them. Five years later, though, that’s no longer the case; that baby and toddler are now (respectively) 6 and 8, and they will almost certainly remember any feelings of fear/anguish/resentment they feel about their father totally dropping out of their lives for something like 1-3 months. Also, Kenney couldn’t now simply give them a kiss and head out the door; he has to explain to them why it’s so important for Daddy to desert them for an extended period of time, and it’s EXTREMELY unlikely two young-but-school-age kids will easily understand why money is a reasonable rationale for Kenney’s abandonment of them - kids are kinda funny that way, donchaknow. In any case, I doubt Kenney’s conversations with his young children went over very well at all - and I can see how being stuck in this House and constantly replaying those discussions in his head might mess with Kenney’s head and tarnish his desire to continue in the game. 4 2 Link to comment

Nope. Tucker has consistently been number one over there. Quinn was most recently sighted down at number eleven. https://forums.jokersupdates.com/ubbthreads/pages/ratebbhg.php Given the fan frustration with his wimping out at the Veto meeting, I'm kind of stunned by how high Cedric is. 2 1 Link to comment

Speaking of disappointing election results, Julie can stuff it with that VoteVoteVote nonsense. No election is ever decided by one vote, and most of us don't live anywhere that's even close. Any votes I cast will be expressions of my personal preferences and not an attempt at "making a difference". Don't try to shame me, Julie, tyvm. [/soapbox]. ************************* Preseason football pre-empted me last night, so I only just got to see this episode after downloading. Tucker has really run himself up a pole, hasn't he? Couldn't happen to a nicer schmuck. I gather the HoH is endurance, given the clothing choices. I hope it isn't too disappointing compared to last year's Return of the (IMO Improved) Pressure Cooker, but you can't expect greatness every time. And while I don't object to how Leah's 1980s L.A. Aerobics Instructor outfit shows off her lovely curves, and there's nothing truly wrong with the pink and light blue color scheme, the whole effect feels a bit…performative, I suppose. It's an outfit for TV consumption, IMO. And yes, regardless of who wins HoH, the only drama before the next Veto is who gets to be the "we need you to beat Tucker" competitive pawn put up alongside Tucker (target) and Angela (plan B). I'd like it to be Cam, but I'm a bit worried it could be Makensy, since there is IMO a good chance that "The House" will decide they can endure one more week of Angela (pre-Jury) without missing a chance to get "a competitor" out. Yikes. If Tucker and Angela stay, yet again, I will be notably bummed. JMO. Link to comment
