I can't imagine the intricate pack of lies it took to arrive at the "I was accepted to grad school... in Germany" long con.

My friends sister dropped out of University and told her parents she was still going. The tuition and book money went to clothes, partying etc. It was some Jennifer Pan shit right there. I lost touch with her so not sure what happened when she was supposed to graduate

She has dual citizenship (army baby) but kept the lie going all the way up until after the move that her parents paid for…when pressed after finding out the professor that she said recommended her wasn’t even at the school, she came clean…ish

Loren, you foolishly put your vanity over everything else, even the children that you love more than anything. You had three babies and it changed your body. You should have learned to wear it as a badge of honor.

Or at LEAST waited until they didn't need so much hands-on care before deciding to do this surgery.

Alexei is from Israel and I assume did compulsory military service. How can he stand this whiner? Who is spoiled? (have wondered this all along)  I get that it's tough after this ELECTIVE cosmetic surgery, but even he said about the dinner, "Maybe it'll take her mind off the pain for a minute," basically. I am assuming she is appropriately medicated?

Jennifer Pan, the true crime lady with the interrogation on youtube?  it reminds me of Chandler Halderson, the guy who lied about everything, going to school, having a job, etc, and killed his parents to avoid his house of lies from collapsing.  Absolutely insane.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jennifer_Pan   Never graduated, made up fake internships, a fake diploma then hired her boyfriend and others to kill her parents in a fake home invasion when her lied caught up with her. Her dad lived…insane. There is a documentary about the case on Netflix

Hola my peeps! Anyone here on this holiday weekend? My husband went to a cookout solo, (about an hour from here) because I didn't want to be stuck at someone's house all day and night with no escape. Houseguest is at a music festival so I've had the house to myself all day. I couldn't settle to reading or household chores or even messing with my plants, so I took a nap. What are you all up to? @judylo, how are you doing? Home stretch now, right? Hang in there.

I napped today too, so nice. Sunday errands get moved to Monday!

I read a book called The Adversary, similar story, guy constructs an elaborate house of cards, eventually can't sustain. Enthralling.

I must watch this tomorrow.  I usually love their stuff.

It's the "Tickled Pink" episode.  I'm guessing the niece will put plants on the top shelf, but with dishes under the plants for protection.    The staging books they get are just for staging, so not the niece's real books.

I like Emily better this time around. She does seem to be trying

I like her a lot now. She has a sense of humor and is easygoing. She's comfortable with Kobe's family and fits in well with them. She's embraced being a good wife and mother. She and Kobe are adorable together. Who'd a thunk it?

I wish I could nap! The roommate’s TV is on 24/7  (different volumes, but never off, even during the short times she wheels herself out into the hallway or, perhaps, sleeps), and at 4 am two nurses turned on the lights and started shouting and laughing as they started to take care of her

What is wrong with these nurses?

This is ridiculous. It’s bad enough when the nurses come in at 5AM to check your vitals, but this is inhumane. Can’t wait till you’re out of there.

The storyline is silly. His family adores her and I can’t recall a single moment where Kobe treated her like property…just let them shine TLC!
