I don't see the appeal of Ben. Loved that Camille was all 'eh, no thanks'

Can't believe he had to gall to tell Barbie how she should handle her relationship. Don't get me wrong, I think Barbie should seek out some therapy for her apparent daddy issues but being upset that Kyle talked publicly about their hookup was understandable. Such high school behavior.

Why is fraternization with the charter guests disallowed for the female crew members but seemingly encouraged for their male counterparts? Hannah was shamed and nearly fired for flirting/texting with Jason after his charter ended while male crew members have proudly hooked up with guests post-charter and  Kyle and now Fraser are encouraged to pursue guests during the actual charters. The hell?

New chef seems too normal & easy going. That's likely why he was only cast as backup.

 Barbie is such a hypocrite.  She cried to Frasier and then got mad at poor Kyle for doing the same thing.  Kyle actually tried to keep quiet but her actions got him talking about it.  Nothing is secret on a boat,  who is she kidding?  I think Kyle will thank his lucky stars later that he isn't involved with her.  That girl is a mess.

Can someone please reassure me that one day, we will look back in astonishment that "instagrammable" was an adjective we used, and that people who took pictures of things were somehow "influencers"? Like this time will pass, right? RIGHT? GUYS!!?? 

I can't imagine packing for vacation on a fancy yacht and thinking "Make sure my garland-festooned Masters Champion blazer is here, yup, got it, ready to go!"

New chef, very first meal, doesn't pay attention to the preference sheet. What is up with ignoring the preference sheets this season??? Is there something wrong with the preference sheets?

And OK, this time Fraser was definitely partly responsible, because he went over what chef was serving and never once pointed out they were asking for a seafood spread, so he didn't look at the preference sheet either. Which is weird because they both saw the request for octopus nachos (WTF?!) but missed the part about wanting a seafood spread. 

That aside, this chef seems far more qualified than Anthony, and OMG, black mold in the fridge? He's right, it's a wonder nobody has gotten food poisoning up to this point. Or worse.

LOL on Dylan's affirmations. He's just the type. There's something not quite right with that boy.

I can't fathom the appeal of Ben either, aside from maybe "he's there." Sunny is smart, capable, attractive and does a great job. Camille was lazy, irresponsible, abrasive and got fired. And Ben still prefers her. That says a lot about Ben.

Still, it's hard to feel sorry for Sunny. Ben has made it clear, repeatedly, that he only sees this as casual sex with no strings, and she keeps going back for more then getting upset when it isn't more. She's a glutton for punishment, at the very least.

Your mention of Dylan seems to trigger my memory of his involvement in this episode. Every single time I've seen him on screen, I can't shake the gross sort of indescribable feeling he evinces. I absolutely hated when he touched Sunny while she was leaning over the rail, it's just difficult to watch. His whole "slap me so I wake up!" shit, which is textbook adolescent kookiness, his (OF COURSE!) listening to daily affirmations, it all just makes me wish he could be kicked off the boat. I'm still not over the really gross attempted kiss from last week, which did he play that off as if he were super drunk? He needs to inject himself into every situation, too, it's just...weird and not in the way I think he wants it to be. I stand by my assessment that every woman he's ever fucked has regretted doing so inside of 72 hours.

Something of defense, the print on those sheets looks exceedingly small and all jammed together.  Why not print out a separate sheet for each meal with a much larger font and bullet points for what is requested (or is unliked}

Doubt these people have that many followers.  One said they were a Yelp elite.

The ones who can monetize aren’t appearing on the show for free.

Barbies sister said their dad isn’t going to like it.  OK maybe if she was worried about being cut off.  Otherwise it’s 2024, when are grown women worrying about what parents or other people think?

It certainly hasn’t stopped the dozens of fame whores who’ve appeared on BD and other Bravo shows over the years.

She knew she was on camera and miked up all the time.  She was going to keep it secret from the other cast?  Girl you’re repeatedly filmed in your underwear.

 

Sunny has self-esteem issues.  Says a lot of her boyfriends have cheated on her.  Look at the guys you pick!  And no strings sex hoping they’d fall for her?  Ben was in a hurry to contact Camille.

What did she get paid to appear in the FaceTime without having her face blurred out?  Oh man it would be the greatest producer manipulation if they got Camille to turn him down on camera.

Ben is not hot enough to act like this. Ben and Ron on Crappens echo my sentiment. He’s a weasly little grease ball. I loved Camille shooting him down. It’s funny she mentioned her music as I don’t recall her trying to sing while on BD. She did try out for America idol & is good! She’s rude, but can sing! Lol. Interesting they never encouraged that on camera. 
Wouldn’t Barbie already be enough of a disappointment to dear old Daddy Warlocks given Barbie’s rapid fire divorce? Her whole wanting to be orthodox so she can’t express her sexuality is more suited to another show. I really could care less, yet here she is whining about her perceived sullied reputation after getting banged …it is frankly boring. It’s the “I never do this stuff” girls that always do. Just not on camera for all to see. The self flagellating can stop. No one cares who you bang, this is BD & it’s de rigor for the setting.

If she truly wants to be orthodox then she would not have been signing on to do this show, she'd be home observing the religion and not prancing around in bathing suits and skimpy uniform skirts, etc...me thinks she doth protest too much.

Barbie has no feelings for Kyle, I got the impression she was doing it for the cameras and that is all. 

The fact that she thought nobody would know that she and Kyle diddled is laughable, they are on a boat, the walls are thin, and the others notice who is missing from cabins...Daddy should be sad his little girl is so daft.  She is really good at her job so there's that.

Camille? How did we never hear her sing on her season? 

Why would Ben contact her when she cheated on him? She showed him who she is and he did not believe it, that is on him, her shooting him down was really good, his ego needs deflating.

New chef was able to make the lunch a seafood lunch but my thinking was that was going to be a quick lunch so the guests could go on their excursion, chef could have said he was saving the seafood extravaganza for dinner or lunch the next day so they can linger and enjoy it without rushing thru it.

Dylan continues to be odd, (you all should watch his debut on WWHL, it was hard to watch or follow his comments).

I have noticed that there have been scant interest in water toys this season, no slide either...somewhere Sandy is screaming at her TV for the deck crew to take out all the water toys everyday even though nobody wants them.

I think BD should change up the way they film, take sex out of the equation and concentrate on how the stews actually do their job because the drinking and f*cking is getting old and irresponsible.

She told her co-workers she's not divorced. They are still legally married, neither wanted to be bothered with the paperwork. But surely her father knows they are no longer together. And disappointing her father seems like a lame excuse. Didn't she say her mother is a sex therapist? How conservative could her father be?

I've been saying this for a VERY long time. I'd imagine an industry like this, particularly at the entry level, attracts a bit of a 'relationships issue' type to begin with, but you add the fame whore factor in and you're going to get some real whackadoos. Add in well above average attractiveness levels AND seriously irresponsible amounts of alcohol, and bang, you have a reality show, one that makes me feel borderline abusive for watching it.

I would imagine Barbie's more embarrassed by getting balled on television, and her dad getting upset about that, not about her having sex with some fuckboi. I don't think you have to be conservative, necessarily, to find that situation unsavory, but what can you do, you're young, hot, he's young, hot (I guess?), you're both horny and in close quarters, sometimes a girl gotta bust that nut I guess. Mazel tov, I say. :)

I've said it before Ben is NOT cute. He has the attributes but they have come together in a weird creepy way. I really don't understand what "HOTNESS" factor has these chicks stuck on stupid.

I completely agree.  Sunny can do a lot better.  She just needs to realize it and move on.  

I yelled at my tv several times during the episode:  

 

• Ben gaslighting Sunny into thinking she is the toxic one.
• Ben repeatedly saying "f**king chicks, right?" 
• Ben reprimanding Barbie over her personal relationship, which has made Kyle feel bad-- when Ben is making his own lead deckhand "feel bad" by breaking up with her without explanation.  Hypocritical much?
• Ben saying that he and Sunny are "not even dating!"  Well, it's a bit more than just dating, in my eyes.

Can you tell I'm not a Ben fan?  😂

I was listening to Watch What Crappens the other day.  Ronnie and Ben compared Nick, the new chef, to Barney Rubble.  The comparison is spot on!  

I think the chef is going to bring some drama.  

BTW, what did you think of Fraser not speaking up about the lamp chops/seafood spread when speaking to the chef, yet throwing him under the bus to Captain Kerry?  He also complained to the captain about the amount of fries-  wouldn't it have been better to let the chef know that the guests will probably eat more fries than that?

Everything Barbie has intimated about her parent's view of sex, really offended me. I was even more perplexed by Barbie's own views as she fed into the "girls who enjoy sex are less than or sluts". So Barbie has publicly reinforced an archaic and unacceptable attitude towards all women based upon...? Why is she even leaning into this nonsense?
