So both Katurah and Jake think that they need to do something big and flashy in front of the jury (both seem to think finding the idol will be big for their resume).  

And Jake finds a clue to the HII.  I like that they actually make this harder for them to find it.

I mean, Jake wants to make a flashy move but who he's gonna target? And that requires him to know who's voting where.

I think Jake has tried making moves, but he and Katurah seem like they are trying too little, too late, imo.  And he has to use the idol in a big way, too.

If it got back to the jury that Julie was aware of her blindside and that's why she played her idol, not sure they'd be super impressed.

Why do I feel like Jake may overthink playing this idol and still screw himself over? Or maybe it's simply because I have no faith in Jake's game anymore, even though I still like him.

I just think the only flashy move he can make is save his idol, get out Julie tonight, then use his idol next Tribal to get out Dee, and then win final immunity and put Drew/Austin in fire.

But, like, even THEN, I'm not so sure he can win.

That was always a tell tale sign of who made it far in a season.  Once they started posting pics when they'd return home, you'd see who suffered the biggest weight loss and who had the worst looking hair, scrapes, and bug bites.

Honestly, I think the only two he has a chance of beating would maybe be Austin and Drew.  I don't think he could beat Katurah, and I doubt he could beat Dee or Julie.

I don't think it helps that it's only a 26 day season, either.  I will admit I was slightly impressed how banged up everyone was within a few days of the game.  I was trying to figure out how that happened.  But that's about the only sign they've been roughing it.

Since Katurah saw how close Dee/Austin were, I wish she could turn the target to whichever one of them doesn't win immunity.  I doubt she'd get the votes to do it, and I don't know if Austin would use his idol (it's his last time to use so he may use it for argument's sake).
